Amit's responsiveness, patience with our team as we sorted out some issues, willingness to revisit several areas of the site for accessibility, and training to walk our team through how to make updates to the site.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

A deeper knowledge of accessibility/ADA compliance would have been helpful; but when we decided to revisit some of our site designs to make adjustments, Amit was very helpful in seeing the changes through on the development side.

After a discovery meeting to discuss our goals, we shared preliminary designs, assets, and copy with the web developer for him to use to develop the site in Wordpress. We shared these materials in phases, and our developer successfully managed the many details of this project.

We used Pastel to communicate edits to Amit once the site was visible on a staging link. The site involved a homepage and 6 additional pages, one of which is a blog. Once the site was complete, Amit trained our team on how to update and maintain the site.

His designers are user-friendly, so our team is now able to easily maintain and update the site.

Our site is now live thanks to Amit. Because of his training and user-friendly designs, our team is now able to successfully update the site on their own. Our site has been received resoundingly positively by those who have seen it in the few days since it has gone live.

Multiple people on our team were able to collaborate with Amit and communicate via Pastel and Slack. We received frequent updates about the progress of the site, and answers to our questions were provided swiftly. Thanks to Amit’s attentiveness, we were able to go live within our timeframe.

We were impressed with how our complex, interactive designs were elegantly reflected in the easy to navigate website. We also appreciated how Amit handled the detailed feedback and needs of the site, communicating with numerous people from our team to implement many nuanced design needs.

The team has worked quickly to bring our site to life.We are impressed with the job he did and how he communicated with us.

There were a few ADA needs that emerged towards the end of the process, where a deeper understanding of ADA could have been helpful. But, he was fast to make the changes we requested. We would highly recommend working with Amit and would choose to work with him again in the future.

Our website (a philatelic society) is a bit unusual. The deliverables met all our requirements. They included some very clever use of WordPress and plug-ins to give us special facilities that we can manage ourselves. After 12 months we reviewed the website and hired Bytegrow to make the changes. This process was very effective and was completed quickly and cheaply.

We communicated 2 or 3 times per week via Upwork messaging. The project was single-thread and nit large, so this was quite adequate.

1. We have been in business for quite a long time and most of the things we were doing very old fashioned way. Although we had a good amount of customers and providers to start with but as a business there was a lack of a digital system which could connect both sides without our much intervention.

We were looking to automate the whole process using a software. That was the very first reason we hired Bytegrow Technolgies for so that a custom software or solution could be built to help our business become more streamlined.

2. We needed a brand strategy for our brand to be consistent across all channels. That was our second goal to achieve when we thought to hire a company.

3. Third goal was to have a more proper CRM system as our customer base is divided between new customers and recurring customers as Goa is a very tourist friendly place so we see a lot of new and old customers. This goal is somewhat similar to first goal though, but it was a very important step for our business to take.

We came in contact with Bytegrow Technologies through online search and went through their past work in the field. Although they did not have an exact similar software done in the past but after asking for a few references and examples of past work, it was pretty clear that they had a lot of word done in building custom softwares and CRM solutions, so that was a big plus and a good reason to make our decision to hire them.

All the work started with building the CRM software first so that we could start off with moving our existing customers and potentially new customers to the system. It took some good amount of brainstorming sessions to get the requirements clear.

Second step was to build the website to gather the leads and the last step was to connect everything together so the smaller businesses could be integrated into the system with their available rental cars and booking slots. Bytegrow Technologies did a really good job with all three parts of the development starting from CRM, website and the custom software.

A project manager was assigned to us initially to understand all our needs, later on we came in touch with two developers to discuss the technical specifics of the software. Later on during the design phase of the website we also worked with a designer in their team. She did an amazing job from brand identity design & rebranding to designing our website and other screens.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After the completion of the project with their team, everything became much more managed and streamlined in our business. Although it took a few days for us to train our team for the new developed system but it was a really great boost to our business as a whole. We started to save a lot of time and started focusing on generating more sales using various media channels & email marketing. Bytegrow team also helped us in setting the campaings up and running it.

Overall, their team have been very managed from the start. Most of the communication happened over calls, emails and zoom meetings. Project was being managed on trello which was also a good experience since we had not used something like that in tourism industry. Timelines were laid out after first few requirement gathering sessions, other than a few small extensions here and there, those were fine to work with.

Professionalism, quality & communication was really great. The final solution was easy to manage and the website was very easy to edit and update.

It has been really good, so nothing I can think of as such. Will encourage them to keep up the good work.

Meetings were conducted approx once a week over the initial few months over Skype, with the website built on Wordpress as per my request. Through multiple rounds of feedback and iterative improvements and adjustments, the website functionality was designs were agreed to. The process was very streamlined. We communicated our requirements by email and web conferences. ByteGrow would work on wireframes and share them with us. We provided additional feedback and we received live versions. We would complete one more round of reviews and edits and the final product would be published.
