The scope included Wellovis Connect, a PHIPA/PIPEDA-compliant EMR platform for Canadian therapists featuring AI-generated session notes, SOAP note documentation, integrated telehealth, and tiered subscription billing. 
They also built Wellovis Hours, a free supervision hour tracking app for students and trainees to log practicum hours and CEUs, and Wellovis Go+, a mobile companion app. Key deliverables included a secure client record system, an AI notes engine, a telehealth module, onboarding flows, and a scalable backend architecture built to Canadian privacy compliance standards.

Wellovis Hours attracted student and trainee sign-ups organically without paid acquisition. The product was delivered with a scalable architecture that has since supported ongoing feature additions, including telehealth and tiered billing, without requiring a rebuild.

What also stood out was that they weren't just order-takers — they contributed to product decisions and flagged potential issues before they became problems. For a startup building its core platform, that kind of proactive involvement from a dev partner makes a real difference.

Earlier in the project, documentation could have been more thorough. As the product evolved and features were added, having more detailed technical documentation would have made knowledge transfer smoother on our end. 
Additionally, more structured progress updates at regular intervals would have been helpful rather than relying mostly on ad-hoc communication. These are relatively minor points in the context of an overall strong engagement, but areas where the process could be tightened for future clients.

Late in the project, our client asked if we could add "fun facts" about the departure cities and they were able to implement that feature in a very short amount of time. Imran and his team were amazing to work with. We were extremely happy with the end product. It worked exactly how we had asked it too and it looked great.

The app uses robust access controls to ensure only the account owner can view or modify their records. There's no ad tracking, and data is transmitted securely. Users can delete individual check-ins or their entire account if needed. An age gate is in place before sign-up, and the safety copy is respectful, concise, and tailored to local resources. The app's design is characterized by its calm and clear aesthetic, featuring large tap targets, high contrast, good spacing, and short lines. The mood chips start with numbers to simplify the selection process and ensure consistent scoring.
