One of our clients mandated that we develop an online system that would allow all types of attendees to register through a single URL. The system needed to allow a single point of contact within an organization to register multiple persons from the same company whilst at the same time collecting demographic data on all those entered. The system also needed to allocate a unique registration number to each registrant and send an email confirmation with that number. The system needs to allow the lead registrant for a group to log back into their account online to edit or add to the names of persons entered previously. In the back office, they wanted the ability to 'upgrade' and differentiate online registrants to VIP / Speaker / Media status.

The goal was to create a system with the unique functionality required whilst integrating into the existing framework of our online CMS system.

We have worked with this vendor previously and the lead developer on this project had worked on the original development of the original CMS. This meant we did not have to spend time bringing the developer up to speed on the idiosyncrasies of our business.

The system we now have is one that our client is really happy with and it seems likely that it will enable us to win additional contracts in this sector.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We set milestones and timeline for the project and we communicated regularly by Skype to iron out the inevitable bugs along the way.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I personally like the fact that in Nishant we have a highly competent developer leading a team that already has a basic understanding of our business. This makes it an easy decision to continue to work with TBI and his team.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not that I can readily think of.

We first started working together on elance-odesk which is now upwork. That was 5+ years ago. I was in search of a company to handle a web project and selected brihaspati. After that we've worked on tens of other projects.

Brihaspati developed designs that we created. We handed over XD documents and got back a fully functional - and responsive - website powered by WordPress.

I don't really know. I know there were a bunch of people involved in the project: QA, devs, designers, system administrators etc.. But I only spoke with one contact person and he handled all my requests.

The cost of development saved us ( the agency ) some money. The client saw an increase of leads by 8% within the first 2 months.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

It was handled flawlessly. We used different platforms to communicate from skype and slack to emails. I cannot imagine how we would have done it better.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I'd say the speed of delivery and the willingness to accommodate all our requests. The contact person was also very polite, eloquent in English and very very helpful.

I can't think of anything at the moment.

With a lot of patients comes a lot of paperwork, which is very time consuming and causes a lot of errors. To get everything in order—from appointments of patients, schedule of practitioners, online inquiries, rescheduling events, payment pages—we hired The Brihaspati Infotech Pvt Ltd.

The software we needed had to be easy-to-use and user-friendly, as we have a big team and everyone needs to use it. With that, it had to be compact with easy steps, which can include almost every detail the patient and practitioner needs. Most importantly, unlike our previous method, it should be error-free to avoid any confusion in a busy environment like ours.

They were recommended to me by a common friend who had used their services and was very happy with the quality they provided. But, to make sure, I researched and found excellent reviews about there work to give me more confidence before approaching them. I couldn’t take any risks on this task, as this software will be the spine of my clinic and make everything run smooth.

Our software was developed and launched well before time, so we had enough time to run, learn, and experience it. It made everything run so smooth, especially because all the features are in one place. Errors have decreased by 80%, and everyone can use it easily.

Project management was excellent. Very impressively, our solution was handled and executed before the deadline. Himanshu was always in touch for any questions or queries.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Clear communication has to play a major role in anything for it to be successful, and I think this is the strongest point this company holds. Everyone in the company is easy to get hold of, which gives the customer more confidence.

It's hard to point out any areas for more improvement, but nothing is perfect. They should keep working hard to make upgrades to their skills so they can upgrade make their customers even happier.

As a startup, we’re still always looking to change and update features, but we were very happy with what The Brihaspati Infotech Pvt. Ltd. delivered. They followed our designs very carefully.

They’re located on the other side of the world, but they have their work schedule synced up with my time. If I send out a message at 11:30 in the afternoon, they message me back rapidly. They’re very eager to jump on something right away and very friendly.

Initilally as most off shore developers do, then it went down hill. Any remediation works from bugs were not addressed, resulting in 5+ months of delays. 
The last project done was so bad it was unusable. The focus for them was on billing, not on completing works. It was very clear they had no idea how to implement an affiliate program into an online store. To avoid a negative review on Upwork they refunded all funds spent and closed it out. Obviously it had happened before.

Initially they were helpful but overall showed no initiaite or best practice. Only after I had finished the build did I find poor structures, coding and limited documentation.

YES, everything was great. The changes were taken into account, especially when our theme didn't work with the configurator. They were able to make adjustments quickly.

The quick response and the high level of work. Compared to development costs in Germany, it's acceptable that the language barrier sometimes gets in the way. No developer in Germany would respond and take care of things so quickly.

I don't have any suggestions here. Everything was really good. Communication and implementation were perfect.
