Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a self-employed film producer based in Los Angeles, CA. My clients range from independent filmmakers to small production companies whom I market to both my production and my consulting services.

For what projects/services did your company hire Bridgeway Digital?

I needed visual animated graphics for a promo video I shot to promote my consulting services on the Mentorly platform. The video was filmed in an interview-like style and I needed some stylish but tasteful graphics to go with it.

What were your goals for this project?

I wanted to use the video to promote my service to more clients and engage them in an organic way.

How did you select this vendor?

After reaching out to and trying a couple of vendors, I was not satisfied with the quality of services they were offering. I was looking for someone experienced, knowledgeable, reasonably-priced and BridgeWay fit all the parameters.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

Once I sent them the video and the references I had for it, Bridge Way came back to me with their take on both. They incorporated my ideas but created a concept that was more well thought through than what I originally had in mind.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

They were quick in taking notes and implementing them. Their responses would come via email in a very timely manner.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I am yet to launch the video but I am very happy with how it turned out.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication process was very easy, the response time was short, and I can describe the workflow we had as professional and efficient.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their quality of work for the price point they position themselves in was impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I couldn't name any based on my experience with them.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the partner of Middle East operations at ORM Systems, a new and refurbished data center hardware distributor. We do data center buyouts and we sell it to telecoms, small businesses, and enterprises.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bridgeway Digital?

I had a set of customers I was working with and we needed to do more. We wanted to run Google Shopping Ads for which we needed a website. We had a basic website in place that wasn’t good enough. We wanted to set up a website that would allow us to market our products online.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The developed our e-commerce website from scratch. We gave them a little bit of information around our competition. The rest was from their end. They used WordPress because I’m familiar with it. They used WooCommerce. There were a few plugins here and there. They took care of the graphic design work.

They did a little bit of content for us to use for our display ads. They also took care of current data for us. We started with about 2,500 SKUs and they got the product information. We gave them pricing and part numbers. They took care of product descriptions.

What is the team composition?

I coordinated with one person.

How did you come to work with Bridgeway Digital?

I did a Google search and then I went to a couple of freelancer websites. I contacted 3-4 companies and chose Bridgeway Digital. I found them on Upwork.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent a total of $7,000-$8,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our teams worked together in March–May 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were getting a gross profit of $40,000/month. After we started the ads, we’ve come up to $90,000/month. It’s been slow the past couple of months. Our revenue has grown by more than 100%. A lot of that is because of the ads I’ve done myself, but the building blocks is where it came from. I was happy with the work they did.

How did Bridgeway Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

I was happy it was just the one person we were in contact with. The work was done within a reasonable span of time. Whenever I gave then a set of tasks to do, I had access to a link where I could go see where they were in terms of the work. We didn’t put the website online until the work was all done but I had backend access to keep checking if things were going okay.

What did you find most impressive about them?

There were times I should have given them some information beforehand, but they worked with it. I was particularly happy with the design work that they did. My display ads and content they did was very good.

Are there any areas they could improve?

My Google shopping feed was a bit of a challenge that we had. It took some time to get it together and get it approved. It was something that their understanding was very limited about. After they had done it for us, they would be much better equipped now.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Work with them. They’re good. They’re incredibly cooperative and always go out of their way to get stuff done for you.

We were in need of outsourcing few animated Explainer video projects and we were in need of reliable animator who can produce an explainer video without costing us too much.

What were your goals for this project?

2D characters Animation videos explaining product and its process.

How did you select this vendor?

We posted project at upwork and thats where we found him.

We already had script available because we are also Explainer video agency. We share storyboard directions to Syed and ask for a quotation at upwork. Once he shared his previous work we really liked his pricing and timeline so we began work. We had smooth communication and that's the reason after 2 years I am still taking time and writing review for him.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

We usually communicate via emails had set timelines of deliveries so we didn't have to go back and forth or checking status of task. Although his timings were hard because I was in dubai he was in USA. When we were closing he was coming online. We didn't had too much issue but it would have been so much different if he was a local vendor.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It was a clients project and I left rabbit and carrot in April so I don't really have any feedback about how that video had performed or how much conversion it bought.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was amazing overall.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their smooth communication.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Yes, I think they have a huge potential but due to limited working hours it sometime delay projects. Our project wasn't delayed, but it could have been.
