What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Braincrew Apps has successfully implemented our Odoo software. The system has allowed us to better track our team under each module implemented. Although we don’t have quantitative metrics, our team’s productivity has increased, and the system and processes have reduced considerable time within the organization. For example, the time taken to reply to clients and the turnaround time in our processes have reduced, and we’ve made better decisions for management.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Braincrew Apps has upgraded a database from Odoo 12 to Odoo 17 and customized other modules on the upgraded database. The team has just finished an integration between Odoo and another system one of our clients is currently using. Braincrew Apps has also developed advanced modules and fixed major system issues. The modules include automating some workflows for the clients and solving a lot of issues by restricting other flows. For example, the system can generate an automatic invoice upon delivering the products and a credit note upon validating the return. The system also has a restriction to the stock adjustments on reserved items.

I’m the CTO and a director at Microstrategies, a holding company for two other companies I own with my business partner. One of our companies supplies digital menu boards for restaurants and takeout companies, making solutions affordable. Our other company does custom software development and robotics, and we’ve partnered with up with one of the biggest companies in the world that owns many other robotics companies.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Braincrew Apps provides custom software and mobile app development for us using Odoo. They also offer consulting services. We’ve built custom platforms together, including one for an end client that owns a car park near an airport. The client used to have an internal server that wasn’t robust or flexible to their needs, so they employed 4–5 people to supplement it. 

With Braincrew Apps’ help, we built a tailored booking platform for the client. The solution is web-based and connects to mobile apps. They built the backend that allows the customer to run the car park and the connected mobile apps available on Android and iOS. Employees can check people into the car park when they arrive. They can also take pictures that get stored in the database in case something happens. End users can register as customers and book a spot, including arranging to be picked up from the airport. 

Currently, the team is building a field service management platform for one of our companies. First, we listed all the features we wanted, then had a call with Braincrew Apps, and they gave us a timescale. The solution is also web-based and connected to mobile apps. On the platform, users can book disinfection robots to be deployed on their premises. They choose a date, time, and location, and the platform finds the nearest engineer, who then heads toward the client. Users can follow the engineers on a map. 

When the engineer arrives on site, disinfection takes place. The platform also enables us to provide content for social media. Engineers take pictures and videos of the disinfection process and submit them to the mobile app. Our system sends it to our videographers and graphic designers, who create social media content. We post the material to our social media and send it to customers for them to use.

I asked some of my in-house developers to research online, and I did some research as well. We put the options we found on a piece of paper and did extensive research on every one. Braincrew Apps’ responsiveness and expertise were the best out of all of them. Moreover, I got to talk to Deven directly, whereas other companies put forward salespeople, which made for a longer process. We chose Braincrew Apps because of their pricing and how fast they scoped out the project.

We’ve spent in the region of £30,000 (approximately $35,000 USD).

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The booking platform is running smoothly, and the feedback from our client has been amazing. The platform’s UI is simple, quick, and well thought out. Thanks to Braincrew Apps’ work, the client no longer needs 4–5 extra people because most booking tasks are automated.

Moreover, the Braincrew Apps team is very knowledgeable about Odoo; they can execute every idea I come up with. If there isn’t a direct path, they find something that can be done to bring the feature to life. The team is also a step ahead; ever since the first call about the disinfection robot deployment app, they came well-prepared and had answers to everything. 

I also appreciate dealing directly with Deven. With other companies I interviewed, I got the feeling that the person I was dealing with had to go and ask someone else, which was very time-consuming. With Braincrew Apps, Deven has the answer straight away. Overall, I’m really grateful for them.

They give me dates and then provide work before the deadlines because they always leave some room in case something goes wrong. While some vendors throw a deadline and don’t meet it, Braincrew Apps thinks well ahead. We communicate via WhatsApp and email.

I’m impressed with Braincrew Apps’ pricing, which is one of the best we’ve seen. Their efficiency and personalized service are very valuable to me. The team is always there; I get an answer straight away whenever I ask a question. Moreover, they always do what they say they will.

No, I wouldn’t do anything differently.

Braincrew Apps isn’t a big company, so you’ll get a personal touch and Deven’s knowledge. If you speak to him directly, he’ll already imagine the solution and tell you if he can do it or not. If he doesn’t know something, he knows people who do.

We hired Braincrew Apps to design and develop a fully functional ERP system using Odoo for our 4 companies dealing with Automobile industry and providing various financial services to our customers. We asked them to integrate different modules per company so each company can see and access only their respective modules. Braincrew Apps came up with intuitive idea of managing display of modules based on company selection which worked great for us.

They have mainly integrated Fleet management, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, HR, Accounting, CRM, Signature, Documents modules. They have also created various custom modules for us related to full-fledge Customer Loan Management process, Trade old car while purchasing new car, Import Cars process from local and international manufacturers and more than 40+ custom reports.

Braincrew Apps team have tremendous knowledge with Odoo ERP and it was their expertise that helped us develop a solution which streamlined our entire workflow and hence helped us improve our efficiency and profitability. The deliverables include design & development of a highly-functional Odoo ERP system with highly responsive theme.
