I hired Bitrupt to assist with much of our mobile app development which is to be released on iOS and Android devices. This project was fairly complex and included tasks such as user authentication, video upload and storage, user post management, custom messaging services, user profiles, donation gathering via Stripe, building an in-app currency, sharing posts functionality (integrated with custom domain name), nonprofit management, several other social features (liking, commenting, etc.).

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As the updates to the project were pushed to our Github, I was able to test the new features and provide feedback about whether our needs were met. Our needs were nearly almost met in the first pushes, and when they were not, fixes were immediately made.

Yes, given the massive scope of our project, I was very impressed with the consistency of the work. Items were always delivered on time, updates were continually made, and communication was on a daily basis allowing for an efficient workflow.

Bitrupt's issue is that they are too nice! they did everything very well on the project so it's difficult to find anything critical.

Yes, as we began to communicate back and forth more it became easier to clarify how certain parts of the app were supposed to work, and the project moved much quicker. This also made it easier to write up the work breakdown structure for future features of the app.

They had a quick turn around time and were transparent; when they needed clarification on something they didn't hesitate to ask.

There are always going to be growing pains working with new clients and contractors. I think we should have sat down and walked through the work a little more closely at the very beginning, just to get a more accurate timeline but that is on me as well.
