**Feedback Summary**: Thanks to BigOrange.Marketing, the client has seen a great improvement in their organic traffic and keyworks, which almost doubled after the first six months. The team is communicative, available, and responsive, and they understand the industry well. Moreover, they’re energetic and consistent.
"“They strive to tell a story and engage with people by creating a message that resonates well with them.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m one of the partners at Internos, a technology company in the small business space. We primarily work within the professional services, legal, and accounting industries, but part of our clients also include manufacturing and logistics companies.

We act as an IT department for companies that might not have an in-house IT department or expert, providing all the services an internal IT department would, including system infrastructure and management. We also help with cybersecurity and business process alignment. In my role, I lead our business development and client management efforts.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with BigOrange.Marketing?

We needed help with developing our web presence, so we hired BigOrange.Marketing.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

BigOrange.Marketing first helped us develop and design our website and its look and feel from scratch in WordPress. During this process, they focused on improving our content and messaging. Since they delivered the website, we’ve been working with them on marketing and SEO so that prospective clients can organically find our site.

As for the website’s main features, BigOrange.Marketing did a HubSpot integration very early in the process. Thanks to this feature, users can easily book a meeting with us through the website. This feature is a call to action, so it’s readily available. Moreover, BigOrange.Marketing has integrated a feature that allows users to reach out to us via text messages.

In regards of BigOrange.Marketing’s SEO work, we’ve worked closely with them to establish our main keywords, also leveraging long-tail keywords to improve our organic traffic. Their team also helps us write custom blogs.

Sometimes, BigOrange.Marketing writes the initial drafts; other times, we provide them with those drafts, and they write the content based on those. Still, we provide them with our input for every content piece, such as the context, the parameters, and some case studies that we’ve done.

In addition to those services, BigOrange.Marketing has helped us with our social media marketing (SMM). They manage our social media posting for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook every month, launching different content pieces to keep our communication relevant.

What is the team composition?

Emelia (Director of Project Management) is our main point of contact. Still, whenever we have strategic planning meetings, Margee (President & CEO) joins the conversation. We’ve also worked with Nick (Marketing Copywriter) on our blog posts, as well as with Paula (WebDeveloper & Digital Ads Strategist) on our web development needs.

In addition to them, we’ve worked with other teammates from BigOrange.Marketing. For example, while Emelia is still helping us, we’ve been transitioning to a different point person within their team for the last month.

How did you come to work with BigOrange.Marketing?

We found them through a referral via one of our peer groups.

How much have you invested with them?

We pay BigOrange.Marketing a monthly fee for their services, which adds up to $40,000 per year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around the first quarter of 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The biggest result I’ve seen since working with BigOrange.Marketing is that our organic traffic and organic keywords have grown a lot. Although it took about 3–6 months to see results, we saw that our organic keywords and traffic had almost doubled after the sixth month. We’ve also seen steady growth in our social media metrics, such as likes and followers, especially on LinkedIn.

How did BigOrange.Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

BigOrange.Marketing definitely meets our deadlines and sticks to a process. We have monthly virtual calls with Emelia to follow up on the process. Still, they adjust the schedule accordingly when needed. Moreover, they’re always available to address anything that comes up.

Whenever we have new requirements, I can email BigOrange.Marketing and receive a prompt response. Then, they either address the requirement immediately or schedule the proper calls to bring in the necessary teammates to move the project forward.

What did you find most impressive about them?

BigOrange.Marketing’s understanding of our industry is outstanding. They work well within our space and have clients like us, so they understand how we operate and why.

Moreover, one of the things we really like about BigOrange.Marketing is that they use the StoryBrand approach in their website and content work. They strive to tell a story and engage with people by creating a message that resonates well with them.

Overall, working with BigOrange.Marketing is always a pleasure. Their team has great energy, and they’re very caring and consistent. Additionally, they don’t wait on our permission to get things done. If we don’t respond or provide feedback quickly enough, they keep moving forward.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing BigOrange.Marketing could improve — they’ve been very consistent.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open, take on their approach, and leverage their recommendations, especially when it comes to marketing — that’s their strength. As a general recommendation, if you’re looking to improve your marketing efforts, it’s always beneficial to have a professional partner that wants to help you succeed.

**Feedback Summary**: The client has received great feedback about their new, high-quality branding. BigOrange.Marketing has excelled at keeping the project moving forward, delivering ahead of time and within budget, and using Trello to collaborate. Moreover, their team is understanding, efficient, and easy to work with.
"“BigOrange.Marketing’s most impressive skill is how easy they are to work with.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CCO and partner of a cybersecurity company, also known as a managed security service provider (MSSP).

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with BigOrange.Marketing?

We were trying to increase our reach and professionalism, have a nicer website, have better collateral, and find better ways to do outreach to our target audience. Therefore, we hired BigOrange.Marketing to help us out.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

BigOrange.Marketing has helped us do a complete refresh of our website, developing it from scratch in WordPress. Among our main requirements, we wanted our new website to look modern and make us look like a bigger company than we were before.

From a framework standpoint, we wanted our website to have a homepage and 4–5 folds underneath that told our story. We also requested a banner at the top of the homepage with a new logo and dropdown menus featuring 4–5 different sections, such as a leadership page and a services section. BigOrange.Marketing has built a landing page for each section.

BigOrange.Marketing has also helped us develop a brand board, which has included defining our branding down to the logo and colors we should be using. During this process, they interviewed 1–2 clients to understand our target audience and help us refine our ideal client profile. Ultimately, they built our brand story around their findings so that we could reach our constituents and target clients more effectively.

In addition to the branding itself, BigOrange.Marketing has helped us apply our new branding to new collateral, proposal templates, business cards, promotional products, and other assets to populate our new website. Moreover, they’ve helped us implement SEO tactics within the site, such as embedding the right keywords.

Now, BigOrange.Marketing helps us on an ongoing basis with SEO analytics, data tracking, and overall management of the whole process behind SEO and organic traffic to help us keep our traffic increasing. Additionally, they’ve also helped us with social media marketing (SMM), creating a social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest, and ensuring that all pages are registered correctly and tied to our same brand.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked mainly with two teammates from BigOrange.Marketing, including a project manager and a secondary person. I’ve also interacted with a third teammate over email, and I know that they have others working behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with BigOrange.Marketing?

Someone I trusted had worked with BigOrange.Marketing and had had a very good experience with them, so they recommended them to us. Still, we interviewed a few different companies, but we really liked what BigOrange.Marketing’s owner had to say. Everything made sense, and we noticed that they were very easy to work with.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

BigOrange.Marketing completed the whole branding and web development project within 60–90 days, from January–March 2023. However, we still have an ongoing relationship with them for SEO services and website maintenance.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

BigOrange.Marketing has delivered very high-end products. I can’t recall a suggestion of theirs being off-mark, meaning that they’ve listened to what we’ve said and produced something close to what we expected. Although we’ve had some discussions around variations and slight changes, they’ve never produced something that was very different from what we originally had in mind.

A lot of people have acknowledged and praised our new branding — it has been very well-received. BigOrange.Marketing has been instrumental in making this happen because they’ve told us how to launch our brand and put out our marketing message to clients and prospects.

How did BigOrange.Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

BigOrange.Marketing has been a great partner. They’ve kept us on point and moving forward, continuously bringing suggestions to the table. If we don’t provide them with good information, they make us go back and look a little deeper to get the best results.

BigOrange.Marketing has also delivered on budget and ahead of schedule, which has been unexpected. They’ve kept us engaged and on task with things that otherwise would have been slowed down.

Overall, BigOrange.Marketing understands how to work well with people. Their team is very easy to work with and highly efficient. They also work fast without cutting corners, and they’ve never been pushy in order to move the project forward. Throughout the main project, we used a Trello board to check in, and we had a couple of in-person meetings. Now, we usually communicate via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

BigOrange.Marketing’s most impressive skill is how easy they are to work with. I’ve dealt with a lot of service providers on a lot of projects, and a lot of them were very difficult. However, BigOrange.Marketing has done what they’ve promised in a very easy way, which has been very important to us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing BigOrange.Marketing could improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make yourself available, meet with them in person or virtually, and spend time discussing the project and getting to know each other. We’ve done that and been very successful. Additionally, give the project all the attention it needs to avoid slowing things down.

**The Review** — Apr 4, 2023

**Feedback Summary**: The client is very pleased with their new site, and they’ve seen an increase in traffic since launching it. BigOrange.Marketing was very communicative, met the deadlines, and stayed within budget. Moreover, they understood the client’s industry very well and delivered quality work.
"“BigOrange.Marketing communicated well and was very thorough, so working with them was a very pleasant experience.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CRO for BECA, a managed service provider (MSP) based in Atlanta, Georgia.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with BigOrange.Marketing?

We hired BigOrange.Marketing to create and roll out a new website for us.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

BigOrange.Marketing helped us design and develop our website from scratch, which included UI/UX design. Initially, we had a couple of discovery meetings, after which they interviewed some of our clients to get testimonials for the website. From there, we worked together on developing user personas so that they could accurately build the website and its structure.

After that, we had a few discovery calls with BigOrange.Marketing around our messaging and the general copy we wanted to include, as well as other discovery calls around our services. It was a very in-depth process.

This site was built on the concept of StoryBrand and was designed to drive lead generation from organic content, such as blog posts, ebooks, and articles. Additionally, it allows users to submit forms and send them to our CRM platform. As for the technology stack, the site was built on WordPress. Additionally, it is managed through WP Engine and has an integration with HubSpot.

In addition to website development and design, BigOrange.Marketing helped us with our SEO. Their scope included content creation for social media and blog posts. Additionally, their team was in charge of creating a whole content schedule and strategy.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Paula (Web Developer & Digital Ads Strategist), Emelia (Director of Project Management), Margee (President & CEO), a project manager, and a couple of contractors they brought in to work on our project.

How did you come to work with BigOrange.Marketing?

I believe we found them on Google. However, I wasn’t involved in the hiring process.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $32,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November 2022–February 2023. We’ve kept working with BigOrange.Marketing on other tasks after the website’s completion, but our partnership is ending in April 2023.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After launching our new website, we saw an increase in site traffic. However, we don’t have accurate results because we weren’t tracking those metrics with our previous website. Thus, our primary benefit is that we’re now tracking those metrics as we didn’t do it before. As general feedback, we were very pleased with the quality of BigOrange.Marketing’s work.

How did BigOrange.Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

BigOrange.Marketing communicated well and was very thorough, so working with them was a very pleasant experience. Their team met the deadlines and stayed within budget. We communicated via email and had video conferences.

What did you find most impressive about them?

BigOrange.Marketing understood the MSP industry very well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing BigOrange.Marketing could have improved. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Take the time to review the content and come to the weekly meetings with suggestions and action items.

Executive Director, Home Builders Association
- Industry: Other industries

- Client size: 1-10 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview

**The Review** — Dec 7, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: Thanks to BigOrange.Marketing’s efforts, the client has seen an increase in show attendance every year. The team stands out for their commitment, detail-oriented approach, and creativity. They anticipate needs and communicate well via email, phone, Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, and in-person meetings.
"“BigOrange.Marketing brings resources and accommodates all interests to create a successful plan.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the executive director of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati. We provide products and services to the home building industry in the region.

We typically do 2–3 home shows a year. The biggest show is HOMEARAMA, our signature event since 1962. We typically have between 20,000–30,000 attendees during the 70 days of the show. The event is usually in the summer, but sometimes we move it to the fall based on how quickly the homes can be built. Over the last couple of years, we’ve had delays due to supply chain issues.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with BigOrange.Marketing?

We needed to coordinate, facilitate, and implement our marketing and advertising campaign for our premier, single-site home show HOMEARAMA. Our goal was to drive attendance and get as many pre-sales of the homes as possible before the show’s opening.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

BigOrange.Marketing is involved in our home shows. We usually have a year-long campaign for each one of the shows. They started by researching what HOMEARAMA was and how it worked. They also learned that our customer base is the builders participating in the show and the people attending. After they got a good grasp of everything, they developed a full-scale marketing campaign that included social media, paid media, TV, radio, and billboards.

They’ve created all the print media and visuals we’ve had on social media. They’ve also written all the copy and developed our TV and radio spots. Overall, BigOrange.Marketing coordinates all the efforts.

Additionally, they meet with our builders every month to get their input on the campaign, and the team revises it based on their comments.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact is Margee (President & CEO), and she has worked with the same people for several years.

How did you come to work with BigOrange.Marketing?

They were a referral; some of our builders utilized them for their own companies. We felt BigOrange.Marketing understood the industry already, and they did their homework for the presentation. It was a challenging job because we had many people on the committee giving them recommendations and comments on their proposals. BigOrange.Marketing initially met with them about what we were looking for in the campaign, and they over-delivered.

How much have you invested with them?

We typically budget $100,000 for this event for promotions and marketing, including a typical commission fee.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in April 2019, and our partnership is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen an increase in website traffic, business, and conversions. Most importantly, we’ve exceeded our budget attendance, which is our largest profit center. BigOrange.Marketing is instrumental in making that happen every year.

Additionally, they’ve gained the trust of the builder community and their commitment to participate in future shows.

How did BigOrange.Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re always on time, and the team usually anticipates our needs. They’re ready even before we’re ready to pull the trigger. We typically communicate through email, phone, Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, and in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their commitment and detail-oriented nature are outstanding. There are a lot of moving parts and strong personalities in this project, and BigOrange.Marketing brings resources and accommodates all interests to create a successful plan. They have incredible, creative, and talented people. Their coordination skills are excellent, and they’re very astute at social media and marketing. All in all, they’re a great, full-service company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything in particular. They’re excellent in whatever we assign to them.

## Portfolio & Awards

### Lead Generation Case Study: Cincy IT Services Firm
When it comes to lead generation for IT services companies, BigOrange Marketing can help. Learn how a Cincinnati IT services firm is getting “more leads than they can handle” from their website, lead generation and digital marketing efforts. Watch the video or read the full case study and story below!
The Challenge
The local IT services firm has a great culture and the company regularly wins awards. Their website, however, was not up to snuff to match their achievements and tell their story. In addition, the website was not generating leads. On a mission to communicate their true value as a partner and guide for clients (plus generate more leads), the firm chose BigOrange Marketing to build their new site.
The Solution
To build a website that reflects and best positions an award-winning IT services firm, we started with a deep dive into understanding their customers. We recommended and created messaging for their new website with the StoryBrand framework.
The new website came with a modern SEO plan to cut the clutter of old content that was not performing. A new, interactive and optimized website for the IT services firm was developed and launched within 4 months. During the time the website was built, BigOrange Marketing created an ongoing strategic digital marketing plan to start at the time the new site was live. The plan includes multiple conversion paths on the website to generate leads, SEO, content marketing, maintaining the company’s events, social media, sales email sequences and a monthly email newsletter.
The Results
Nearly right away, the engagement and time spent on the site increased and bounce rates declined significantly. With clear messaging and placement of resources, 10+ new leads are flowing to their CRM each month. The firm is on pace to meet their annual goals that we set at the beginning of the engagement.

### Managed Service Provider Inbound Digital Marketing
This Seattle MSP was managing marketing with in-house resources that are pulled in many directions, including client support. Although these are the experts on the subject and industry, there was not enough time for them to focus on marketing. Due to this, the firm was not being found on Google and overall the MSP was not satisfied with their traffic and lead generation.
The Solution
Marketing an IT services firm requires a strong, ongoing effort to produce results. BigOrange Marketing’s team of seasoned pros stepped in to help SWAT Systems do a StoryBrand website refresh, implement a future-proofed SEO strategy, plus put a strategic marketing plan (and the resources to stay focused) in place.
Even though BigOrange Marketing is in Cincinnati, and the client is in Seattle, we were able to hire a photographer to capture authentic images that tell the MSP’s stories. In a world full of the same stock photos being used to communicate IT or technology solutions, this instantly sets their brand apart.
Our ongoing marketing plan includes generating original topics, resources and writing content from interviews with their thought leaders. Citations and Google ads are in place to further promote the inbound and content marketing effort.
The Results
In only 4 months, website traffic has increased 50% and there has been a 3x increase in leads coming in through the MSP firm's website. That’s not all — the MSP firm added a sales lead to their team. Sales and marketing processes are in place using the HubSpot CRM to monitor employee activity with leads and customers, plus see what business is won, lost and measure the ROI.
With the SEO strategy in place the IT services firm is now ranking on page 1 of Google for five key terms and on their way to rank for more. The client is highly satisfied with our work and recently added paid LinkedIn campaigns to their plan to further amplify content and generate leads.

### Website and Digital Marketing:SkyTerra Technology

### EO Xcentric: Entrepreneur Conference in Cincinnati
The Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) needed to announce the 2022 site of the EO XCentric conference in Cincinnati with a bang! We created a branding style around Story for the event and an awesome launch video meeting the month end deadline.
Problem
EO Cincinnati needed to promote their EO XCentric regional event in a big way. They needed to quickly have a marketing strategy and a world-class video to promote the exclusive event. Our team at BigOrange Marketing was approached by the conference planners for our expertise as storytellers. We follow the StoryBrand methodology when creating websites and other content for our clients. The team at the Cincinnati EO chapter asked us to help in a quick turn to create a branding style, powerpoint assets and announcement video within one month.
Solution
We collaborated with the client to bring their concept of “connecting with your story” to life, at an expedited pace. An in-house project manager spearheaded the project to create the logo concept, the storyboard and the complete communication strategy. The project included turn-key video production from script to storyboard to final video accessing libraries from EO and REDI Cincinnati. The project also included logo design, website landing page copy, designed powerpoint presentation deck, email marketing, marketing communications strategy and complete project management.

Result
Over 200 people signed up on the day of the announcement at the 2021 EO XCentric event in New Orleans, Louisanna. This far surpassed the goal of 100 registrations. The event has a successful promotional video, a complete communication strategy, plus excellent assets to use in social media and more delivered on-time and exceeding expectations.

### Manufacturing StoryBrand Web Design, Marketing
BigOrange Marketing, a manufacturing marketing provider, helped Automated Machine Systems, Inc. with a new website that makes their services as refreshingly transparent to their clients as their approach to automation. One of BigOrange Marketing’s newest clients is Automated Machine Systems, Inc., a leading Cincinnati-based automation systems manufacturer. AMS serves the medical device development, plastic processors, consumer and transportation industries.
The Challenge
AMS wants to grow the value of their firm within the next 10 years by expanding product offerings and acquiring new customers in both current and adjacent markets. Their marketing plan lacked focus and effectiveness in achieving these goals because of the bandwidth of their team. They also faced significant global competition from other industrial machinery manufacturers. Consequently, their website was not generating the traffic or leads desired.
The Solution
BigOrange followed the StoryBrand methodology to craft a website that shows how AMS understands and solves customer problems. In just three months, BigOrange updated the AMS website to be more user-friendly and focused on customers’ goals and pain points. The site redesign created a clear call to action, optimizing content for SEO and focusing on key industries AMS serves. Professional photography by Samantha’s Studio captured authentic images of the team and innovative automation at work.
The Results
The new website for AMS helps portray the company’s deep application knowledge and hyper-responsive support. The Freedom of Assembly Blog provides a space for thought leadership. The overall marketing plan takes marketing off the AMS team’s plate and puts them on track to generate new customer leads.
Thanks to the team’s SEO strategy and plan driven by deep application knowledge of automation systems from AMS, the team received a sales qualified lead on the day after launch.

### MSP StoryBrand Website and Social Media
The Internos team is composed of highly knowledgeable IT professionals. They are dedicated to their line of work and want to help as many Miami businesses as possible. Internos leadership came to the realization, however, that they were lacking a strong presence on marketing channels. Additionally, their website did not accurately demonstrate their capabilities. The creation had been focused on what their website looked like at the expense of its content.
The Internos team needed a firm that could not only make their website look great but also provide solid content to back up the appearance. They discovered BigOrange Marketing and the StoryBrand website design services we offer. Their desire for better content was appeased when they discovered we are a team of StoryBrand website experts who bring fresh and unique ideas to the table. They appreciated our proven BigOrange Blueprint and the framework to deliver the services promised. The cherry on top was learning about our focus on SEO and continuous improvement beyond website creation. They chose us to build their StoryBrand website and deliver ongoing SEO content.
“Before we started working with BigOrange, we had some marketing struggles. It was difficult to communicate who we were and get our reach out. We were grateful for their ability to tell our story, not from the point of view of ourselves, but from that of our prospects and clients so they can understand the value we bring to the table.” – Jairo Avila, Internos Partner.
The Results
Designing the Internos website has led to a multi-year continuous partnership. The Story Brand website was built on time and on budget. By clarifying their messaging to resonate with their clients, we have been able to get leads and help Internos grow. Our efforts have been able to organically grow their reach, with significant gain in search results. Last year alone, our client saw a 2X increase in SEO.

### Website Development Case Study: Scout Cold Capital
Scout, on the brink of a major property acquisition, knew their website design needed a serious makeover to mirror their seasoned professionalism. a non-salesy consultation.
The Problem
Picture this: Scout’s growth was in turbo mode and a property purchase was on the horizon. But their website? Well, it wasn’t keeping up with the scale of their ambitions.
The Solution: Brainstorming and Partnership
The Miami-based company commissioned BigOrange for a website development project that would reshape Scout’s digital identity from top to bottom. We rolled up our sleeves and kicked things off with a deep dive into Scout’s existing website. We wanted to know its every nook and cranny before we started waving our magic marketing wand.
Plus, we’re all about teamwork, so we huddled up with Scout’s brain trust to really soak in their vision, aspirations and must-haves.
Looks matter: BOM took Scout’s digital appearance and polished it until it gleamed with professionalism. Our design makeover included a fresh, clean vibe that matched the company’s superior level of experience.
We infused their branding with a new color palette, eye-catching imagery and fonts that added sophistication. We also polished their portfolio page, decking it out with new plugins and a user-friendly layout. Browsing through Scout’s projects and properties is now smooth and simple.
It’s all part of the navigation we employed – seamless, elegant and engaging – and perhaps most important, supportive of sales.
The Results
When Scout’s stakeholders laid eyes on their new digital creation, they were thrilled.
The website revamp didn’t just check boxes; it transformed Scout’s image. Suddenly, they were the trailblazers, the go-getters, the ones to watch in the temperature-controlled warehousing world.
