Bigfork have worked alongside the city council team since the concept of LUMi in 2017. In 2022 we wanted redesign LUMi to modernise the site, improve the user experience and functionality of the platform, particularly as the majority of the site content is user generated.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our outcomes were measured through user experience research. The initial phase identified areas for improvement. The second UX phase with a new group of volunteers was to ensure we had removed any pain points. We were looking for confirmation the platform was easy to navigate, that it eliminated areas of confusion, and was relaunched on time. We continue to measure its success from ongoing user feedback.

As a small, personable company, my experience of Bigfork’s project management approach has always been very positive.
