We had a website that was a bit outdated. We developed it about 5 years ago and had never updated it. It didn’t look good commercially, so we were looking to create a new website with better design and functionality.

We started working with them around October or November last year, and the website was finished in January.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It has been positive so far. The site looks nice, and the design is very good. However, the site hasn’t been launched yet so we will have more feedback after that.

How did Bigbuda perform from a project management standpoint?

We used Google Meet; it was all very efficient. We had a meeting to define everything right away. Later on, we had to use a call center to communicate with them, which, to me, makes the communications a little bit cold, but it worked well in the end.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The managed the technical concept very well. They are very confident.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I found them a bit distant at the end of the project. Maybe they were very busy. They still responded, though, and the project was delivered.

About five years ago, we decided that we needed to have a presence on the web and on social media networks. The first step was to create our website. We started this project with a company but we didn’t have a very good experience. After this failure, we did some research and found BigBuda Digital Agency. There are so many vendors to choose from that sometimes it’s a matter of luck. However, I found them very open and willing to listen to their clients. That made me really trust them.

Currently, we have a monthly fee of $300 USD for the site´s maintenance. The site itself had a higher cost.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them in 2015. Since then, we've continued working with them on new updates for the site.

The site works perfectly. We've been upgrading it constantly, and they're always improving on details such as the site’s speed. Also, having the website is very important for us, as we communicate a lot through it.

They are in constant communication with us, always suggesting new things and the best and most modern updates. Whenever we’ve had any issue with it they respond immediately.

They met our expectations, delivering a simple website that’s easy to use. It’s never shut down or had any issues.

From a project management standpoint, everything went well. I would’ve liked for them to visit us instead of having to visit their offices.

The team at BigBuda Digital Agency has clear processes in place. They were good at showing the progression. They were also excellent at meeting deadlines.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As I mentioned, going to their office was a bit difficult for us. I believe having them visit their clients would be more beneficial. Their price could also be more reasonable. We had a few adjustments and changes to make to the site, which led to a rise in cost.

It's been excellent. Despite the crisis, they're very punctual. They still managed to meet all deadlines during a difficult situation for everyone. I don’t know how they did that.

Project management and communications are not their greatest strength, but they still find a way to make things work. As for deadlines, as I mentioned, they were very strict.

I needed help at first with designing my logo.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Since designing the logo, Bigbuda Digital Agency has gotten involved in building my website and providing digital marketing through social media and SEO. 

We’re working on the website right now. I’ve given their team the content that needs to go up, and they’ve started the designs. Once the developers get involved, Bigbuda Digital Agency estimates it’ll take a month and a half.

The digital marketing component hasn’t started yet. For social media, we’ll be targeting Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Bigbuda Digital Agency is going to design the content and manage our campaigns. We’re going to start with organic SEO strategies soon as well.

We have two designers and two developers working on the website. Another team involves two people who will manage our social media and SEO.

Other agencies I’ve worked with charged less for lower quality and slow response times. Bigbuda Digital Agency is completely different. As a new business, I need feedback on my ideas from experts. Their team advises me on what to do or not to do to expand my business. It’s really helpful.

Go with Bigbuda Digital Agency. They’re expensive, but they give you high-quality work. I’d recommend them 100%.

We needed to create a website where our customers could search through different types of OEM codes and find the corresponding equivalent of our products.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bigbuda designed and developed our website. The first phase was the design, which included 5–6 different pages, such as home, product search, product cross-reference, contact, and FAQ. Bigbuda sent us high-quality images of the designed pages for each correction we requested.In the second phase, Bigbuda programmed the approved pages from the design phase. There were some minor changes on the search page. The team delivered a complete website made on WordPress. Bigbuda also handled all the backend development. We defined the structure of the tables, and the team implemented the database on WordPress. We provided them with an Excel file with the data so they could populate the database.

We found Bigbuda through an online search. We chose them because they offered good value for the cost.

Bigbuda sent us the corrections we asked for. We didn't have any success metrics since we didn't have a previous website. We received minor feedback; an old client said the website was well-made and pretty. New clients didn't give feedback.

Bigbuda's project management was great. The team understood our requests and helped us improve our vision. We communicated through virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Bigbuda didn't stick with our vision of how the website should be. The team talked to us about what should work and what shouldn't. In that way, Bigbuda helped us improve the overall vision of the website.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Bigbuda had a resource problem during the end of the design phase, which delayed the project by about eight weeks. I would've been happier if they didn't have that problem.
