Maspex is the largest private Polish company in the food industry and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe. The B2B sales department is responsible for cooperation with institutional customers from Poland as well as foreign companies. Our customers include international food corporations, leading yoghurt producers and companies from the confectionery and convenience sector.

When working with business customers, we try to adjust our offer to your needs as precisely as possible or to create a product with the special requirements of specific contractors in mind. Maspex uses state-of-the-art production technologies. Thanks to this, our products are distinguished by their excellent quality, which we achieve by using the best raw materials, high class technology and by trusting in the experience and high qualifications of our employees.

As Country Manager I am responsible for sales region management and also for IT solutions implementation for B2B business development.

For what projects/services did your company hire Besite - Brilliant Group, and what were your goals?

We hire Besite-Brilliant to create concept , WEB and mobile appication of Maspex B2B platform . Main goal of that platform is to create online show room with our food ingredients where clients and distributors will be able to create they own products like ice cream, yoghurts, chocolates with Maspex B2B ingredients thanks function 3-D render.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We asked 4 companies with which we cooperate before to present concepts for Maspex B2B platform and Besite-Brilliant idea was cloasest to our requirements.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The project started with workshops when we discussed our ideas about the platform, business goals and key deliverables. That's when Besite took the project from and after about 2 weeks we were able to use a wireframe in order to understand the UX and key vision of the platform. Simultaneously they worked on the MVP of the product visualiser tool which was also usable after about 2 weeks. Later on, they provided us with the UI design and as soon as we agreed on it, they started the development process. After about 3 iterations the product was almost ready. What's worth to mention is that the Besite team took almost all the visual elements on their behalf like product photoshoot, 3d rendering and other visual tasks.

What we liked the most about the project was that we were in constant communication with Besite PM who provided us with project status at all the stages. What’s more worth mentioning is that they suggested and developed many useful functionalities that were not designed in the beginning. They just knew that such additional solutions will make our work easier and better.

We had a dedicated Project Manager who was contacting us and discussing the progress. We were able to understand each of the project steps clearly and suggest our ideas in order to make the product more bespoke. However, we were informed that there were 3 developers, one designer, one SEO professional and a photographer involved.

We had a dedicated Project Manager who was contacting us and discussing the progress. We had regular meetings when we work out project details. When we signed an agreement we set project milestones and going according to the plan.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have a lot of new ideas, very creative team which replies within maximum 24 hours. Thanks to their dedication, we had managed to finish that project in 4 months.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are very satisfied with that cooperation and I do not see any specyfic areas for improvment.

I'm the Manager responsible for development of over 50 real estate offices in Północ Nieruchomości network. My responsibility is to develop a franchise with over 20 years of experience and over 200 agents delivering best quality service to the customers.

We hired Besite in order to refresh the visual part of our website. However, as we started the process, it appeared that we could achieve many more goals if we build the website from scratch. We have followed that advise and professionals from Besite took care about the design, the SEO, content, development and integration with our core software used by all the agents.

Our website is nowe well optimized in term of speed and focused on mobile devices. Whats more, the user experience also improved very much. All our goals were met and even more, since our SEO skyrocket through the roof.

We knew that Besite is a part of Brilliant Group, and that their design skills as a group are very unique. Their approach is always professional and very fresh.

Everything started with workshops, when we have described our needs and the specyfics of our industry. Besite PM delivered the plan and the estimation that we agreed on. All the goals were clearly met and the suggestions that Besite team brought to us were just on point.

Later on, we received the deeper analysis of ux with the wireframe of the new website. After the wireframe was accepted, designers started to work on the UI, and as soon as we accpted this part, the development process begun. During the development, they were also working on the copywriting in order to save the time.

As soon as the main part of development was ready, they established the test branch and all the offers were moved to the test app. As soon as the website was ready to go, we begun the process of testing with managers of each branch. As this part was ready we were clearly ready to go live!

We had a dedicated PM who was working directly with us. However there were about 6-7 person involved on the vendors site to deliver all the project parts.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The delivered application, was a game changer in terms of mobile usability. All the metrict just skyrocket including SEO, and it's clearly visible that more clients use our website, and they use it much longer than before.

Their approach was very agile since there were many obstacles on the road like API issues (on the site of our software provider) etc. however Besite team was able to deliver despite the obstacles.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their flexible and agile approach. They have a long term plan, that is being adjusted on each stage of the project and that's why non of the issues or obstacles can stop them. They are very goal oriented, and will do their best to deliver, even if some of the issues require some extra hours of work on their behalf.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In the future, they could work a bit on total project time estimation, however with some obstacles it's hard to estimate perfectly.

I'm the managing director of Ekodocieplenia - a professional construction company with more than 30 years of experience. We advice and work in the fields of thermal insulation and thermomodernization of large buildings and strategic constructions like pipelines etc.

We are working in a very competitive market, so our main goal was to become visible - now we are a field leader.

We searched for the professionals and was asking around (mostly among business partners). One of them recommended Besite do us, and that was a really good recommendation.

From the first meeting, Besite team collected all our demands and strategic business info. From that point, they created the information strategy and the marketing concept ot the whole project. Then they brought wireframes to us and the final design. After a few weeks, the website was ready to be filled with content.

Copywriting team worked hard to describe the services we provide and a few blog articles in order to start the SEO rolling. From that moment, we publish every month with help op Besite copywriters and the effects are incredible.

Besite provided us with help of a project manager who was always there to help us or solve any issue. However, there were more people engaged behind the scene like the designer, developers, copyywriter and the SEO professional.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After the website was published, we saw a significant increase in lead generation. This website is simply good, and provides clients with all the required details. After a few weeks the seo started to skyrocket an it still does after 3 years! We grow every montg and now we get around 30-50 leads every week which is incredible for the contruction company which is not a huge corporation.

The communication skills and their dedication to the project was incredible. They described all the project steps and adviced us on the direction we should take. Website was published a bit before the deadline since the copywriting team was working simultanously so the content was provided barely at the moment the website was technicaly ready.

What we loved the most, was their flexibility and the scope of profssional service they provide. From the marketing strategy, through SEO and content to the super high development skills. If you choose Besite they'll take care about all the details no matter what your digital activity needs to be.

To be honest, we were totaly satisfied.

I’m the sales director of Wisla Krakow, a football club that plays at the top level of the Polish football league system.

What challenge were you trying to address with Besite - Brilliant Group?

We were looking for a partner to develop our website. We wanted someone familiar with the sports industry and fan engagement. We also needed help with our B2B marketing and content creation.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Besite - Brilliant Group started by making all the project documentation. They showed us how the website could work for our fans, and they also made a marketing plan for the promotion of the new website. They repurposed materials from our old website for the new one, and they integrated our mobile app to the website so users can view the site using our app. 

Besite - Brilliant Group is also managing our content for Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. They handle all design aspects for the website, including its visual elements, and they prepare graphics for announcements. They are currently providing maintenance for the website.

What is the team composition?

We are working with three people who serve as our primary contact persons — they handle all our problems, inquiries, and schedules. However, other programmers are working on the project that we don’t talk with. 

How did you come to work with Besite - Brilliant Group?

Besite - Brilliant Group was based in Krakow, and they had good references, including partners of our club. Their team knew football, which was very important for us because we wanted someone that can handle fan engagement. In addition, they were very active in the industry. 

Besite - Brilliant Group contacted us, and they said they can help us. They looked at our website and told us their ideas on how to improve it. We considered their recommendations, and we also checked offers from other vendors. Ultimately, we went with Besite - Brilliant Group because their proposal was the best. 

How much have you invested with them?

We have spent more than $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2018, and it’s ongoing. We are considering additional opportunities with them, like handling our communication strategy and developing a tool for our fan shop.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The traffic on our website has seen huge increases. We have also gained additional funding from all over the world, which made up for lost revenues due to the lack of physical audiences. Our fan shop increased in sales as well — before partnering with Besite - Brilliant Group, internet sales only accounted for 40% of our total sales, but now, 60% of our sales come from the internet.

Our partners from the club even asked us if they can contact Besite - Brilliant Group because they did an excellent job at our site. In addition, some journalists also wrote about our new site.

How did Besite - Brilliant Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Besite - Brilliant Group is good at communication. We are only talking to three people, and if we have problems, we can ask them. They provide a platform to see what they are working on, their next steps, and any possible problems. The cooperation is perfect. If we want something changed on the website, they changed it for us. We use email, Zoom, and Trello to communicate, and we meet in person as well. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication skills are very impressive. If we need something, we can contact them, and they are immediately at our disposal. If there’s any problem, they are responsive. Because we are not IT professionals, they generalize the language and explain technicalities to us if we don’t understand something.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

We have a good partnership, and we can’t think of anything that Besite - Brilliant Group should change.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a clear plan, and discuss all your expectations on the first meetings. If they know about your expectations, it would be much easier for them to make your website and finish it on time.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

Our company, Express, is a car rental company in Poland, which has three branches. The first is a car-sharing module where you can essentially rent a car from the streets. The second branch consists of regular rentals, for people on vacations and such. The third branch consists of long-term rentals that can span from one-month to five-year contracts.

I’m the company’s IT manager and I’m responsible for all our software solutions. The newest addition to our software is our customer dashboard in which people can check what kind of cars they’ve rented and their invoices, order new vehicles, and more.

What challenge were you trying to address with Besite - Brilliant Group?

We were trying to create a user-friendly panel for fleet managers and customers for everyday contact with us. We didn’t want our customers to saturate our information line or technical line but instead find the information they needed through a web portal.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Besite – Brilliant Group was responsible for UX/UI design for the panel that we needed. We simply provided all the functionality that the panel was supposed to have and the kind of data that should be displayed. They then created a UX concept for us to approve. 

Once we made sure all the general information was included and the customer flow was correct, they moved onto creating the UI. The panel also has messaging and special offers features. They weren’t responsible for development but they did provide all the screens and graphics so that our developers could connect everything.

What is the team composition?

I generally worked with their CEO, who acted as the product manager. I also had several meetings with their creative team, which consisted of both UX and UI designers, in order to explain our needs and avoid any misunderstandings.

Our first meetings were with a large group but, further on, if I had any information to relay, I could get in contact with the designers with a copy to the product manager.

How did you come to work with Besite - Brilliant Group?

They worked on advertising and website projects for our car-sharing branch. I wasn’t responsible for hiring them for that, but I was sent their information and knew the car-sharing branch was very happy with their graphic designs. 

How much have you invested with them?

Their work came at about €10,000 (approximately $12,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Other branches of the company have collaborated with them since around 2016, but I started working with them two years ago, in 2019. We began planning in August and started the work by September. 

Our project ended in November 2020, but I’ve asked them to add some new features based on our internal testing of the panel — sometimes need new graphics, so I contact them for it as needed.  

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I was very happy with their work and everything was delivered on time. We worked on a time and materials basis, so they provided the work I needed within the timeframe they promised, every single time.

Every time I audited their designs, I was very pleased. Those in charge of one of our websites said the designs are perfect and didn't require any changes. Overall, there was nothing that didn’t match our UX/UI standards and needed to be changed. 

How did Besite - Brilliant Group perform from a project management standpoint?

We didn’t actually use any specific tools. We spoke through phone calls and emails. Communication was great between our teams and I could reach out after hours — everything was very professional. 

After the initial brainstorming and conceptual phase, they shared the wireframes through Figma, where we could leave comments directly for the designers. If there was any misunderstanding, I could call the project manager.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their creativity was most impressive. They’d never worked with the rental branch before, so they didn’t really know all of our processes. However, after only two meetings, they provided a UX design that showed they actually listened to us.

We could simply communicate what we want and they delivered an entire UX/UI, despite not being intimately familiar with the more technical aspects of our work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s a bit difficult to answer this question because whenever there was something we didn’t agree on, we simply asked them to change it during our stand-up meetings. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Go work with them — they are great. Everything with them is under control; I knew the budgets and timeline for the work.
