I run two animation brands, Infocandy and Studio Panda. We make animated shorts, adverts, documentaries and music videos.

For what projects/services did your company hire Benedict Wallis - Web Developer, and what were your goals?

Our old website was full of bugs and I needed a developer to take it, keep the design largely the same but redevelop it in a way that fixed all the problems. We decided the easiest way of doing this would be a full rebuild which is what we did.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Ben seemed knowledgable and was recommended to me. He works quickly, and pushed me to get the site finished on time when I was distracted with delivering other projects.

We had a kick off meeting to discuss what I wanted to achieve. We then looked at the current site and decided on all the parts that we wanted to keep and wanted to change. Ben then set out a timeline to achieve the new build with decision points from me. He stuck to his timeline well and kept me in the loop the whole way.

The new site feels cleaner, runs smoother and faster and with no glitches.

We mainly used emails and google spreadsheets to manage the workflow.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Ben was flexible with me making minor edits to our original brief. They used creative problem-solving skills to iron out bugs and persevered to find solutions to difficult problems.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There was a few times we had to test on various browsers ourselves to identify bugs. But these bugs were fixed.
