I am a self employed tour guide for the Western United States working mainly with tourists from Germany and France

We want to create an app that serves as 'tour guide in your pocket' for all those European travelers who visit the US on their own -renting a car and going on a road trip instead of booking a narrated bus tour.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for app developers, shortlisted 5 and then went through an interview process. Vinay and his team from Baymediasoft Technologies were quick to grasp our vision and created a convincing outline for our project at a very competitive price.

We had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. Then Vinay and the team provided us with wireframes and designs to chose from. They incorporated our feedback and delivered the revised version in English, German and French.

Initially we had a few sessions in which Vinay brought in the team from India. Going forward we exclusively worked with Vinay.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As this travel app is a project still in progress - we just have initial reactions from testers who find the app visually enticing and easy to use; it is easy to switch in between the 3 different languages. There is certainly a big market for this product.

Vinay went out of his way to assist, explain and encourage. He listened carefully and was always willing to incorporate feedback; our communications took place via texts, e-mails, What's App and phone calls; it turned out that this project demanded a creative management style - and Vinay and his team delivered!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What is certainly the 'flashiest' asset of Baymediasoft Technology is their ability to come up with outstanding design ideas.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Going forward we think that Vinay can be more insistent that deadlines be met by the customer...

I’m the founder and CEO of Gamble Entertainment, a music tech startup. We have a SaaS product called Indiplug, which is a business management and networking platform for independent creators like musicians and bands.

This platform allows them to build better networks amongst each other and helps them increase their opportunity of getting booked for live music shows. It also aims to help independent music venues better manage the booking side of their business and market their shows that are at their businesses.

What challenge were you trying to address with Baymediasoft Technologies?

We needed a company that could help us design the UI/UX of our business management and networking app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Baymediasoft Technologies used Figma to design and map out the frontend architecture of the app’s wireframes. The wireframes of core features that they worked on were the app’s booking aspect and communication features between users.

These features include the users’ ability to comment, share posts, sell merchandise, make booking contracts, and connect their Indiplug profile to their social media accounts.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Baymediasoft Technologies’ work allowed us to better understand and envision the app’s features and how they will work with each other.

How did Baymediasoft Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Baymediasoft Technologies performed exceptionally well in terms of project management. They were very timely and responsive — we never had any problems with their responding or completing their tasks on time. 

Whenever we had any miscommunication issues, they acted quickly and asked questions to get further understanding or clarification. They also always took the initiative to set meetings with me and my team to make sure that they understood everything thoroughly as far as how the features worked. Overall, it was a very smooth and quick process.

We primarily communicated through Zoom calls, emails, and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Baymediasoft Technologies exhibited a really great understanding of the app and our company’s vision and goals. We didn’t have any trouble explaining the project to them — they were able to quickly understand where we wanted to go in terms of the app’s design and how we wanted the app to feel for our users, which made the entire process very smooth and efficient.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was a huge time zone gap between us, so it was sometimes difficult for us to set meetings. It would have been better if they were a little more flexible in terms of setting meeting schedules with our team.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to prepare and communicate your vision and goals very clearly and thoroughly before starting the project. Preparing those things beforehand would save you a lot of time and money.
