Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Director of Marketing and Fundraising for The Shepherd Centre. We are an Early Intervention service for children with hearing loss. I also head up the Marketing for our new social enterprise HearHub. HearHub is a digital platform for hearing loss professionals which provides them with a range of digital tools and courses.

For what projects/services did your company hire Baha Agency, and what were your goals?

We hired Baha to build a website for HearHub. We needed an agency to guide us through an exploration phase in terms of what we needed and the different audiences we were seeking to serve on the site. Hearing loss professionals are a niche group and HearHub is a totally unique offering i.e. there is nothing else like it available in Australia or globally. The site also needed to integrate with HearHub itself (the digital platform).

How did you select Baha Agency and what were the deciding factors?

We went out to tender and spoke to 4 different potential suppliers. We were keen to get a WordPress specialist as our other website is on WordPress. We also wanted a supplier who would really guide us as well as being very flexible in working with us as HearHub as a product itself was still evolving.

We went through a discovery and journey mapping workshop which was led by Baha. The process of the build was more iterative with Baha building a bit of the website, asking us for user feedback and then continuing to develop it.

Towards the end of the project Baha completed the handover and conducted training with our users, particularly around using Divi. Ultimately we were left feeling very confident that we could continue to manage the site, whilst knowing that Baha are available for more complex technical support.

There were two key staff who worked with us: a Creative Director and a Developer

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are really delighted with the end project. https://hearhub.org/ It is functional and beautifully designed. The mobile optimisation is perfect. We feel very confident presenting this website to our potential customers in advance of the official commercial launch this year.

The Baha team worked closely with us to achieve our goals, ensuring the needs of multiple high-level stakeholders were met. They have a keen understanding of not-for-profits, customer engagement, and how to meet the needs of audiences to deliver results. The communication was frequent and no question was left unanswered - they were very patient with us. I also really appreciated how flexible they were when our goalposts moved.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We needed a partner who could understand the complexity of HearHub as an organisation and deliver a fit-for-purpose product. During our collaboration, I was continuously impressed by their ability to "get us". Ultimately they have greatly enhanced the final product with their creative approach and great advice beyond our original thoughts and expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing - I would really recommend Baha for any project and I hope we will use them again soon.

We engaged Baha Agency to overhaul our company branding and website design that had previously been confusing and not aligned with our core business

What were your goals for this project?

Creation of all new branding, logo and eCommerce website. Branding and logo needed to encapsulate what we do, our attitude, be easily identifiable in the crowd and thus be truly symbolic.

The website then needed to be an extension of these goals. While also expanding to include our community-driven focus and allowing the public to easily gain insight into our business

As soon as I visited Baha's website I realised these were the people we needed to speak with. Their stye was modern and were technically proficient with current and emerging systems. These guys are not scared to be experimental, that fact resonates with our business at it's core.

We had an overhaul of our company branding, logo and website. This included substantial research, design, development, advice, workshops and fantastic level of engagement with us throughout the entire process.

What was the team composition?

Dealing directly with the owner of the agency was a great experience. Julian has several staff underneath him however, all our dealings were directly with him and he could not have been happier to help and listen to our core drivers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This has already been hugely beneficial to our business, the new branding and logo simply work. This means we have spent less time trying to make every document or report we generate look good. Everything that comes out of our business now turns heads and is recognised instantly.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Julian managed this project fantastically, put out superb level of work while meeting the estimated project timeline. At no point did we feel concerned about this project not being successful.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Baha Agency is able to speak on so many levels, both technical and creative - I think this is what separates them from other providers. Julian immediately identified the need for urgency with current climate my business operates in. He cares about the clients needs and this shows in the end product he provides.

Since we start working with Baha Agency, our overall brand awareness has increased, and we’re generating an ROI on our marketing spend. We track our spend and take a more strategic approach to marketing.

Our project was to not based on timely manner, more on the quality of the final productc, which was very successful in the end

project was communicated through on weekly basis. Communications was half face-to-face and half over the email conversation. This was very effective especially from Baha side as they have responded within a couple of hours.
