I’m a creative art director at Loook Studio, an animation studio. We help brands and companies establish their identity through animated designs, videos, movies, special media, and advertisements. Our clients are companies interested in extending their brand identity.

What challenge were you trying to address with Awsmd?

We were planning to redesign our website to make it more appealing to potential clients and reflect our creativity.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Awsmd has redesigned our website’s UI/UX and developed it. We’ve provided the team with our brand guidelines, including our logo and color palette. Additionally, we’ve given them animations they could use in the design. Awsmd has used Figma for design. Initially, we planned to build the site using React, but Awsmd suggested Next.js because it’s more SEO-friendly, and we agreed. 

Currently, Awsmd provides us with hosting services. Next, they’ll create additional pages for the website.

We’ve worked with a couple of UI/UX designers, an animation specialist, and two developers from Awsmd.

A good friend of mine told me about Awsmd. When this project came along, we needed a creative team who could create an awesome design, and we hired Awsmd.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Awsmd has succeeded in every task we’ve given them. The new website’s design is awesome. Our top management is very happy with the website because it reflects our identity and how we communicate and think.

How did Awsmd perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is very smooth. We use Jira for project management, enabling us to set deadlines, control them, and see what Awsmd is working on. The team has completed every phase of the project on time. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to highlight the UI designer, who is really creative — I like her work. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

My biggest concern is the outcome, and I’m really happy with the website Awsmd created.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I haven’t noticed any areas of improvement. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend letting Awsmd be creative. The team asks for references of websites that you like, so it’s helpful to provide them with as many references as possible to let Awsmd know what you want and like. This way, the team can tailor their work to your tastes.

My partner and I — as well as the rest of the team — were happy with the website. We have yet to see how it’s going to be reflected in our business, but we’ve been truly happy with Awsmd’s work.

Awsmd did a good job managing the project. Everything was done on time. They sometimes delivered earlier than expected.

We liked their design experience, and they had quite a bit of experience working with Web3 companies. They also had a great understanding of our target audience.

What challenge were you trying to address with Awsmd?

We wanted to revamp our website and give a new and refreshed design. It wasn’t user-friendly, too, so we needed it to be more stylish. As a result, we needed an agency to provide us with web design services, and that was why we hired Awsmd.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our teams initially explored the design and functionality of our old website. From there, Awsmd created UI/UX designs and built them from scratch. We didn’t provide specific brand guidelines. However, after a few discussions, we agreed on one concept and worked on refining it. We had multiple feedback sessions and conversations with them. We focused on developing new features on the website and redesigning it to make it more user-friendly. 

In terms of tools, they used Figma for designs and Webflow for development. For specific requests, we needed the website to have our company’s colors. At the same time, we wanted it to have a dark theme just to make it look fresh and stylish. It should also have a work page, an about page, and a let’s talk page. There was a page where users could send queries and order illustrations.

Our team noticed a 22% increase in site visits, which allowed us to increase the number of our customers and sales — all because the website was truly well put together.

Awsmd had excellent project management skills. They met all deadlines and stayed on budget. To communicate, we primarily used emails, but we also used Zoom calls.

Have clear requirements for the final product. Be active on calls, and it will help Awsmd a lot if you give them some examples of websites you like.

We had a bad website we weren’t using, and our marketing partner recommended getting a new one. We hired Awsmd to design and develop the new site. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started with a discovery call where we explained what we were looking for and our target audience. We also supplied them with photography and imagery. Awsmd advised us on design styles and the concepts they had in mind for the project. 

We moved on to conceptualization and design, and they showed us 3–4 different concepts. Figma was used for the design, Adobe After Effects for the animations, and Webflow for the development. Awsmd developed the site so we can make changes to the CMS without a developer, and the main functionality is a contact feature. The site has been launched, but Awsmd is now supplying research for additional features.
