Avtek transitioned our email from our former service to one that was safer and more reliable.  We also purchased 3 additional desktop computers which they set up and transferred all of the programs/files from the old boxes to the new ones.

Email is much better and the new desktops are helping our productivity.

Their customer service and how they are attentive to our needs. Their team hadn't tried to force anything on us that was either unnecessary or that we would be uncomfortable with.

They did have some internal miscommunication which was partially their fault, partially mine.  Because of the close relationship that I have with one of the principals, their staff that should have been handling things thought things were being taken care of.  The matter was handled promptly and professionally.

AvTek reviewed company policies and identified deficiencies and provided recommendations for standard compliance.  The AvTek team participated in cyber security calls from customers during cyber audits.  They also assisted in developing a road map for the implementation of additional security measures, monitoring and equipment requirements.  When implementing the new security measures, we made the decision to utilize AvTek as our MSP.  The transition process was fantastic from the team and the project management phase of the change over was very effective with regular meetings, timelines and installation.  We continue to utilize AvTek for cyber services and as our MSP.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our cyber policies and processes are in place and have been reviewed and approved by customer audits.  This has led to additional business with our customers and creates a competitive advantage.  The internal team of the company have increased awareness through monthly training.  The company is more equipped to fight cyber threats.  Implementing the MSP solution has created a resource for the team members to contact with questions and issues providing more timely issue resolution and freeing up internal resources to tackle other projects.

I’m the director of business management and docketing at a law firm specializing in intellectual property. We provide patent-related legal services to technology-focused clients ranging from large corporations to startups and individual inventors.

We needed help streamlining various systems into one cohesive, easy-to-manage system. We also needed help desk services for daily IT issues.

What was the scope of their involvement?

AvTek Solutions, Inc. provides managed IT services for us. Their work includes server management, domain and group policy assistance, and upgrade and streamlining recommendations. The team has integrated various systems into Microsoft Office 365 and remote server access.
