I’m one of the co-founders of Rise25. We help businesses reach their Dream 100 clients or referral partners by helping them launch and run their podcasts.

What challenge were you trying to address with authenticWEB?

We engaged authenticWEB to help us show what we do to our customers and prospective clients through case story videos.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

authenticWEB’s outputs will be available on YouTube and on our website. We’ve given them a background of what they should be looking for in an interview. Based on that, we've introduced them to our clients. After that, they take it from there and interview our customers.

Their goal is to show our prospective clients exactly how it is to work with us. They’re also helping us build assets that people can stumble upon. In addition, if someone asks us questions, we can send them specific answers from our video stories. The videos aim to help in our client acquisition process, making it smoother for people to work with us.

What is the team composition?

We’re working with four members from authenticWEB's team including their customer service support staff and coordination staff. We’re also working with their company head who helps us with our strategy, specifically on who we should interview and what topics we can do for our videos.

How did you come to work with authenticWEB?

We met Ian (CEO) at a marketing conference, and we got to know him pretty well. For him, it wasn’t all about getting content out in the world. Instead, he talked about all of the strategic foundations that need to be put in place to make our end product even better. The strategy they mentioned was insightful and powerful.

We’ve spent $15,000 or more.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing collaboration began in January 2018. We always have an ongoing project with them because whenever our customers give us positive feedback, we ask their permission to give their testimonials about our work.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

authenticWEB’s work has drastically improved our sales cycle because we can offer the videos they create to people who are thinking of working with us. As a result, it allows us to save time since we can answer the questions of our prospective clients through our videos instead of telling them over the phone.

On top of saving time and money from a client acquisition standpoint, we’ve had people contact us because they’ve seen us work for people in a similar industry. In addition, we’ve secured $10,000 contracts from the videos they’ve produced. Some of our customers also upgrade the services we offer to them.

Overall, it’s super easy to work with authenticWEB because they finish our videos as quickly as possible. We’ll always have an ongoing partnership with them because we can never have too many customers saying great things about our work and process.

Their process has been seamless, and they’re quick as far as communication goes; they let us know the status of our project and what things we need to accomplish. They’ve also been good at scheduling our initial call and interviews with our clients. In addition, the team has been good at speeding things up by efficiently helping us finish the first and final versions of our videos.

They’ve been able to capture the essence of our customers’ stories.

No, nothing comes off the top of my head because authenticWEB has been great to work with.

authenticWEB has been doing video productions for over a decade, so I’ve ensured that I’m coachable and open to their advice. My advice is to listen to what they have to say because they have a lot of experience in their field.

We work with five different people, who are all amazing and responsive. They always tell us when something’s not right rather than just take orders.

We chose them based on their approach. They’re responsive, relatable, knowledgeable, and they put out so much free content. They’re always there to help.

We’ve probably invested around $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since August 2019, and they’re still providing us with ongoing strategies.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our app went up by over 50%, and we currently have a waiting list of clients so we’re able to pick and choose who we work with — this enables us to make easier decisions.

How did authenticWEB perform from a project management standpoint?

From a project management standpoint, I would rate them a 10 out of 10.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their approach to video, rather than just shooting and editing. We also like that they call their project a case story as opposed to a case study, because it’s more relatable to people and it makes them want to hear their stories.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The CEO is 6’5, so maybe he can be a little shorter.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You will definitely get the most out of their services because they do all the work. You just need to tell them who to interview, and they’ll help you put the strategy together — all you have to do is respond to them when they need you.

Having left my previous law firm, my goal was to establish a presence on the internet and throughout social media that would promote our law firm and assist in bringing in new clients.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Authentic webs reputation preceded them. I have seen and admired their work for other firms throughout the state and waited patiently for the opportunity to work with them.

First we discussed my goals and target potential clients. Then we discussed the platforms I would be interested in developing and they advised and educated me on my options therein. From there the team at authentic went to work in creating an action plan for moving forward.

They assisted me on staying on task and assuring that the projects we set forth to do were completed. They were very committed to getting our firm rolling and completing the tasks to reach my goals.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our video campaigns were quite successful and my target audience was reached. I would hear from incoming clients that they were impressed or inspired by the video content they saw of me and it gave them information they otherwise did not receive from other attorney's in the area.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was effective. They were amazing at keeping me on track, when the work of simply practicing law proved a barrier to my success and completion of my projects. There management tools were easy to work with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their energy and enthusiasm for their work sets them apart from others. At times they made me feel that they were as invested in the success of my firm as I was. Their desire to stay on the cutting edge of their work was always apparent and I appreciated that they brought fresh ideas to the table as often as they could.

authenticWEB built my original site over 7 years ago and it was awesome! Clients and peers all raved about the look and feel of the site, and it did a great job of driving the right kind of client my way. I recently hired authenticWEB to do a refresh/overhaul of the old site and we're partway through that process now.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I interviewed several vendors and chose authenticWEB because their work product was excellent and their pricing structure was flexible/reasonable. Also, their customer service is just outstanding. I've reached out to them many times during our 7 years of working together and they're always super-responsive and quick to solve whatever issue I'm having.

I had a couple initial meetings with Ian Garlic (the CEO) to work through my goals, services, my clients' experience, etc. He was very thoughtful and helpful in helping me to articulate my strengths and services, and hone in on the clients I'm trying to attract. The authenticWEB team is now working on design ideas for my site and I'll soon meet with Ian to film videos. We're also working on a FaceBook retargeting campaign.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I saw a significant increase in traffic after my first site launched, as well as a sizeable bump in the number of web inquiries submitted by potential clients. Both clients and professional colleagues have remarked on how beautiful the site looks and how helpful the content is.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The folks at authenticWEB are super organized, timely, responsive, and communicative. I'm a little old school in that I only use email, Zoom, and phone to communicate (no Slack or Jira here) and authenticWEB has always adjusted to my needs and preferred methods of communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

authenticWEB put together a beautiful site that attracts clients who are a good match for my business and is easy to update myself. They're also always quick to help when I need to tinker with the site (i.e., set up an out-of-office autoreply for web inquiries, etc.). I've also just really enjoyed working with each of the folks they have on staff. These are smart, kind, personable people who do excellent work. A winning combo!

Nope. I've been entirely delighted with my experience.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I’ve been utilizing authenticWEB’s services ever since I opened my firm years ago, in 2005. They basically provide a wide array of services in line with digital marketing.

They developed my first and second, updated website and created the content, specifically the videos, that went on there. To avoid receiving spam emails, we used the Wufoo platform, which allows users and visitors to message me through the website. They also rounded my branding and established my social media presence. 

The authenticWEB team has since continued to manage my landing pages and social media accounts, while also covering SEO. For every piece of content that they deliver, they provide several options for me to choose from. I select whichever one has the quality and design that I feel matches the type of work that I do.

I’ve worked closely with 2–3 people from their staff: Danika (Sales & Marketing Coordinator), Ian (CEO), and Corey (Project Manager & Art Director).

They were recommended to me. I decided to work with them because of the quality of some of the work they had done.

I’ve invested less than $100,000. They actually gave me a discount since I was one of their first customers.

We started working together in the middle of 2005, and the partnership is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My business has grown organically and exponentially. I get clients mainly from referrals and from our online marketing efforts. Even without having to resort to TV or print ads, I’ve been able to build a good following on my social media platforms with authenticWEB’s guidance. The team has really transformed my law practice in that regard. 

They’ve also done an excellent job with the website. Many people have complimented its navigability and a lot of clients actually came to find us through that channel, which I think is a testament to its quality and value. It really exceeded my expectations. 

How did authenticWEB perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re fabulous in this aspect. Once everything is set up and moving along smoothly, I don’t typically hear from them, which is fine. We’ve tried using Slack but we primarily communicate through phone calls and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their services are very personalized. I think, since authenticWEB is a small agency, they’re able to bring a very individualized approach to the project. They spend a lot of time getting to know our business model so that they can provide the best advice.

Friends and colleagues of mine who’ve used their services can also attest to the uniqueness of the websites they develop. The look is always different and is based on the key aspect of the business that they’re trying to promote.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wonder if there may be newer things that they could offer us in terms of marketing services or technology. I don’t have any complaints, though; I trust that we may already be using the best that there is with the budget that I have.

Trust in authenticWEB and really think about what image you want your website to project or what functions you want it to do for you. The team is sure to guide you so that you don’t have to come up with any ideas on your own, but it will still be helpful to have that ready as you go into the process.

I’m the co-founder and CEO of Bad Rhino, a digital marketing agency.

We needed video content creation, along with a marketing strategy around that content.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

authenticWEB helps us with our video production needs. They’re in charge of the planning, scripting, storyboarding, and casting. They also bring their own equipment to film the videos, and they’re in charge of their postproduction. Additionally, they create a marketing strategy around them.

Initially, authenticWEB interviewed us and got all of our information. Then, we scheduled time to fly to Florida and met with them. We went through all the content ideas that both of us created, and they edited them before producing the first videos.

From than initial content meeting, authenticWEB created 6–8 videos for us. After that, and for almost two years now, they’ve been producing 1–2 videos per month.

They produce not only long-format content but also short-format videos that we can use across our social media. They also produce content for branding purposes, such as videos for our proposals and presentations.

We work with 4–5 people from authenticWEB. One person is in charge of the strategy and direction, two people handle the equipment and also the direction, and another person provides the videos and handles our account management. We’ve also talked with Ian (CEO).

We have used authenticWEB since the firm was established. We wanted to update our website using the latest WordPress feature that both captivated potential clients as well as conveyed our brand effectively.

Aside from a successful and productive relationship in the past, we decided to continue working with authenticWEB because they have proven to be effective, have been incredibly responsive to our needs, and are easy to work with. The level of communication is excellent as well as the product they produce.

We had several meeting to discuss goals and objective. From there, the team delivered mock-ups and wireframes for the website. They provided an initial build up of the site that we were able to view and make changes very easily.

A project manager that we have worked with in the past took the lead and was our main point of contact. He had multiple developers and designers working behind the scenes.

Not too much, not too little - they have just the perfect amount and style of project management. The project manager provided updates every step of the way. Videoconference meetings were held to discuss goals and go over the design.

The level of communication is exceptional. You give them your goals and vision and they implement it exactly as you envisioned it.

I had my own tax firm from 2008–2020. We ran tax and accounting services. Then, my practice grew into a larger CPA firm here in New York City. Part of my deal was to continue with internet marketing, and their team came to work with us. Now, we’re Tanton Grubman CPA.

What challenge were you trying to address with authenticWEB?

I’d already done SEO and marketing for my company, but I’d always used a template service site. In 2015, I decided to get to the next level and hire someone to build the site from scratch and provide SEO services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, authenticWEB built our website. While they were developing the site, they also started the SEO process with the old one. Eventually, when the site was completed, they integrated it.

We’ve gone over many different things about the site. One time, their team flew to New York and spent a whole day filming videos of us in our office. Then, they integrated those videos into the website and other online platforms for SEO purposes.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with at least 5–7 different people, and we reach out to the appropriate person depending on what we need. I know Corey (Project Manager & Art Director), Danika (Sales & Marketing Coordinator), and more people.

How did you come to work with authenticWEB?

I spoke at a webinar for accountants, and I got a proposal from them and a couple of companies. authenticWEB was used to working with CPAs and people in the tax business context. Besides, I liked their proposal, and they had a good setup.

Overall, we chose them for their experience with our industry and the proposal. It made the most sense and was more applicable to our needs compared to the others we got.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $125,000. Some of it goes to authenticWEB, and the other part goes straight to Google and Facebook Ads.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in 2015, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They have all the tools and provide a lot of good data. We just keep track of the number of clients we get from the Internet. Every year or 2–3 times a year, we go back and count how many clients we got and send the results to analyze them.

How did authenticWEB perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re excellent. Overall, we don’t have a hard deadline, but whenever we need to push something faster, they respect that. They’re always addressing my needs and concerns. Additionally, I don’t have to bother them because they communicate really well and stay on top of things. I know who to go to, and they generally get back quickly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I think it’s the quality of the team. I’m friends with them now, and they’re very smart and experienced. Also, communication is the best part. It’s really the key to success.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m currently the one that reaches out, but maybe they could set up regular calls or meetings, monitor progress, and so on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Ask many questions and go through the process and project timeline. Even though authenticWEB is great, compare them to at least 1–2 proposals just to make sure their team is the right fit.
