I'm the owner and founder of The Next Athletes. We house high school athletes and create custom profiles for them. These profiles allow them to be discovered by recruiters. We are simply the bridge between athlete and recruiter to get the the conversation started.

For what projects/services did your company hire ATAK Interactive, Inc, and what were your goals?

We needed a customized site, athlete profile development, and search portal development. Our goal was to create a unique profile for each athlete with various tabs that had different information. We also needed this to be functional and appealing on a mobile device.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found ATAK a few years go during a networking call. I had some CRM questions and needs and even though we had numerous inquiries, we decided on them because of their portfolio. Additionally, they immediately understood our need which told me they knew what we were talking about. Their portfolio also highlighted some of the same needs we had.

We needed a website that allowed for a search portal. We needed unique profiles and bios for each athlete but also the flexibility to make necessary changes. We also needed to allow the athletes to log in and make changes themselves, meaning we now needed the athletes to be able to log in with a unique username.

Following this, we are having them create a search portal that would allow a recruiter to log in and start a search based on different criterion: height, weight, stats, location, sport, sex; etc.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked with 3 people - the owner, a developer and a designer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I have worked with them on two projects. We have either met the deadline or exceeded expectations and are able to launch early!

CONSTANT communication via email and/or text. Maybe they don't want me to put that, haha, but the owner is always there when we need(ed) him as well as his team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Price. This stuff can get pricey, but they are some of the few that stay true to their word. I have yet to have been blindsided by a price increase. When they say $X, they have meant it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No. Everything I've asked for, they've done.

ATAK was by the far the most reasonably priced and skilled team we spoke with. They were always responsive and clear with the timeline.

They used Wordpress + Python to effectively build out all the necessary tools.

ATAK Interactive, Inc. designed and developed a completely new website based on an older, outdated version. It was also designed as a tool for managing certain tasks for the pharmacy like collecting information on patient refills.

We continue to use their services for ongoing maintenance.

We have worked with their president and several others on the team.

They delivered a fully optimized and highly functional website with no bugs. It helped us move into the next stage in our growth.

We knew exactly what the messaging needs were going into our collaborative projects with them because of their great knowledge of B2B companies and the needs they have in this field.

We met with ATAK and their client to discuss exactly what they wanted to get out of a video and photo project. Then, we reverse-engineered a strategy to get them exactly what they were looking for and more.

ATAK has always given us very clear milestones to hit as well as concise feedback to help us tailor our video projects for their needs.

Our partnership with ATAK has only grown since we first started working with them, mostly due to their strong client relationships and continued need for innovative content creation. The work that we've done for them has received great feedback.
