Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the founder of the Food delivery app business we started in Outskirts of London and in this pandemic wanted to bring all the restaurants and cafe in one platform and reduce their cost from Deliveroo and just eats.

For what projects/services did your company hire Astute Myndz?

The biggest challenge was the Lock down and we've been thinking of this since a while and there couldn't have been a better time than this. But we had to get this app launched quickly so grab the market share. So we had been taking quotes from multiple companies and finally chose Astute Myndz as they sounded very promising and gave a better deal than most of the quotes we got.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to get a complete solution, be it the Backend admin, Restaurants login app, Driver Login app or Customer side App. All in ios and android in very less time. They did surprised us after a month , when we cam e to know that the developers had been working overtime and getting things done. The dedication level was captivating.

How did you select Astute Myndz?

We had been taking quotes from multiple companies and then selected few and did Zoom calls with every one of them. The price & time quoted by most companies was way too high and that what made them stand out of the crowd.

Describe the project in detail.

We created Food Delivery App similar like Deliveroo and Just Eats. Website and Mobile app for restaurants, customer and Driver. Restaurants save a lot of money coming to our platform compared to the percentage they pay to these companies.

What was the team composition?

Initially we were assigned to a Sr Developer who would lead the project and then he brought in a UI/UX designer who created the prototype of the entire project and then Developers were involved creating the platform.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We do love the app we have received and so do the restaurants. The best part of the app is that it is far better than Deliveroo to be precise in terms of User experience and has lot of options for the restaurants at the back end which gives them full control to manage.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication was really impressive. We had a group made on Skype and all updates for any query raised by one of us or the developer side were answered. We use to have zoom calls in 10-15 days for progress report which my partner use to lead as per technical stuff were concerned.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was blown away by the dedication and response time of the team, where on the other hand everyone was focused on news, updates, social media etc due to the pandemic. The team was maintaining a laser focus on the project as we had to adhere the deadline at any cost.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I cannot complain for anything, as we knew after speaking to few companies we had sort of unrealistic timeline in our hand for what we are asking. At the end we were overwhelmed as they completed and delivered the project, though apple was taking time to approve the same due to less resources. But it all went well and we are extremely satisfied by what we got.

The project has allowed us to engage even more customers and fans.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management worked well in assigning all needed tasks. The developer's consistent, clear communication and adaptability ensured that the workflow was always efficient. The varying complexity of the overall project meant that the company's assignment of skilled coders was essential.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Talking and reaching the company was easy. Suggestions are always accepted and highly anticipated. Astute Myndz delivered an outstanding product at the end.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not Much. I want to thank Siddhant & his team for working hard over the past few moths to move much closer to an app i have always wanted.

I’m the managing director of a company that provides sober living to recovering alcoholics and addicts.

What challenge were you trying to address with Astute Myndz?

I made my own website using the tools provided by my host. It had all the information on it but wasn’t polished.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Astute Myndz rebuilt the entire website for me. Their team sent mockups to get my feedback. They added features that I wouldn’t have thought of because this isn’t my line of work. For example, they implemented the ability for clients to download our application from the homepage to start the intake process faster. They also added elements to make the site look better. After the project was completed, I contacted them about a change that I wanted, which their team made at no charge.

What is the team composition?

I worked with 3–4 people over the course of a couple of months.

How did you come to work with Astute Myndz?

I received phone calls from a lot of different companies that I turned down but Astute Myndz approached me at the right time. They were willing to work with me and what I wanted, so I thought that I’d give them a try.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the project in September 2019 and wrapped around November.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The most important metric is that I was pleased with the outcome. We don’t need tons of traffic because we're not a huge business so traffic to the website's a secondary metric. I get Google alerts for traffic, so I know that the new site's getting good traffic. 

How did Astute Myndz perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team did a great job. Their work was thorough and done fast. They were responsive to the changes that I wanted to be made. I was kind of nit-picky, but their team never lost their patience. We went back and forth because there were certain features that I wanted to be done in a certain way. Their team was able to do everything that I wanted even when it was minuscule.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness and willingness to listen to feedback made them stand out.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not in my opinion.
