The work and deliverables were to re-design and propvide suggestions/solutions to the updated version of our web application, including pages, typography, icons, color palettes, interactive components. All those adapted and designed to support several platforms, from web browsers, to tablets and mobile phones, as well as large screen displays

This greatly helped in adapting and testing their designs on our product in parallel to the iterations, making it able to provide and make use of solid feedback that greately assisted the process speed and quality of their deliverables

Their attention to detail and user point of view approach, analyzing several use cases to provide the optmal and most intuitive user interface. Along with that, we were really impressed with video recordings showcasing their designs and elements, and how to use/transfer them to our application

Given the complexity of our application and the dynamic nature of the features, I believe they pulled through, and beyond the simple website design most companies offer. They went a step further to accomodate real uses of the application's interface and how users would/could interact with each element

For what projects/services did your company hire Ash Studio?

We hired Ash Studio to completely design our app & website from scratch. It was a challenge as we wanted to have a very clean & professional design while being very user-friendly. We only had wireframes or ideas, but nothing was already made. Therefore, Ash Studio needed to be innovative and create our brand.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We were hiring freelancers, and after a few profiles, we really had a fall from them. They looked professional and friendly, and their designs looked awesome. We decided to try them out, and we never looked back.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The first step was getting to know me and understanding my vision & product. Therefore, they had a great questionary and we did some meetings. They did market research and they came up with several logos & graphical chart ideas, and I selected one of them. The second step was creating the designs from our wireframes on Figma. They perfectly knew the process and we constructed screen by screen the entire app. They used Lottie to have cool animations.

The third step was to create the Figma design for the website. Here, they did intensive competitive research to find new innovative ideas to visualize our features. The result was amazing. Finally, they created on Figma all the design assets that we would need for the stores and marketing. Once again here, they went through the whole process of analyzing the industry and my competitors to provide me with the best possible assets.

I worked with Sonya, the CEO of Ash Studio, and from time to time with other employees. Sonya took care of most of the work and is still working on my project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The best demonstration of success is the "wow" feeling when you open the app and go through it. That's what the design gives you. Regarding progress, the app has been constantly evolving, with new features being added, and others improving, and we're still working on building some more.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication process is very smooth. We mainly used Notion to provide them with instructions, and they would add any questions they might have. We also used Figma to give feedback. Finally, if needed, we would go through direct messages and phone calls, but most of the time this wasn't needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ideas. They have great ideas to improve what you have in mind and make your product more functional. This is proof that they know their field of work, and are able to understand the work you do.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

At some point, they were limited on staff, but they were able to quickly find resources for my project. It ended up not disturbing the project.
