I wanted to have a new application built, for which I didn't provide to Asaap Studio a complete architecture, but rather a rough sketch.

By discussing this sketch, initially with Zeeshan alone for the quote and later with the entire team, I wanted an organic consultation where my knowledge of the transport industry, my clients' needs, and the Zeeshan team's knowledge of "new software development" and similar projects were combined. I wanted to create a successful new application (web app and mobile apps).

The result is remarkable

The webapp and the mobile apps are more then I expected. While in communication it has grown from scetch to aplication as it went forward. It's now ready to roll out in the whole of the EU.

The contact was absolutely professional. I could always get a direct contact with or Zeeshan or his team by asking for a meeting through whatsapp and then meet them the same day in Zoom. Always the whole team. I could sent through email questions where the reply was within 24 hours. With the bug process I filled a list in a shared excell document they provided.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I had a bad memory with outsourcing a project. With Zeeshan and the Asapp Studio Team I had from the first day a very good 'feeling' about their understanding of my project. They asked questions I was not prepared for. That means they really wanted to understand my goals with the project and want to push me to make descisions about sometimes details, but sometimes very importamt parts. This communication proces was always led by Zeeshan himself who spoke Englsh on a high level.

HealthCoin's platform was an extensive enterprise software development project. We required a litany of features such as: banking integration, appointment scheduling, messaging, enrollment/registration, map search, profile saving, fraud detection, heavy encryption, flag system for suspension of accounts, and the list goes on.

We had 8 Sprints. Each was released and we tested after their QA team did.

The structure for project management at Asapp worked like a well oiled machine. The company owner is available for you anytime day or night. The project manager assigned to our project oversaw the devs and we had an open line of communication with our project manager. I will add our project manager never changed unlike the last company I worked with. This was very helpful in keeping things organized, especially in the way of communication.

The owner has worked in overdrive to ensure our product is perfect. When we interviewed dev teams some company's had portfolios of software that wouldn't even open. Our software is AMAZING. This is all thanks to Asapp. We could not be happier.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Asapp Studio could have done differently?

There was never a moment where Asapp let us down. These guys worked tirelessly through the holidays for us to meet deadlines. Anytime I needed something Zeeshan was right there. So thankful I found Asapp.

We needed mobile app development services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we had rounds of scoping to identify what we needed to develop and all the screens and processes. Asapp Studio gave us the estimates, and we awarded them the project once we approved them.

Asapp Studio has developed the app from scratch. We provided them with the APIs and designs for the screens, and they’ve built them according to the required workflows. The team uses React Native, Swift, and JavaScript as some of the technologies. The app is a marketplace platform, and they’re providing development and testing services.

What is the team composition?

In addition to the founder, we have a project manager, an iOS developer, two Android developers, and a QA person.

How did you come to work with Asapp Studio?

I've known the founder for many years. I knew his technical capabilities and was confident that he’d be able to deliver.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2021, and our partnership is still ongoing.

The app is still in private beta, so we have yet to get any real metrics. However, we’ve been using their services for almost two years, which speaks about our faith in their capabilities. Overall, Asapp Studio continues to support us and deliver successfully.

They deliver on time, and the communication is pretty good. The team understands the requirements, and they give us their opinion and guide us on the better routes to do some things. In general, we’ve been pretty satisfied with the quality of their advice.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We have ongoing testing processes to measure the achievement of the requirements we provide Asapp Studio with. I usually design a logic diagram to show what I want, and they always come back to me with a product that proves the achievement of our goals.

Asapp Studio’s project management is very good. We have constant communication over Slack.

Being able to talk to Asapp Studio’s owner has been great. His knowledge and experience are impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Throughout our project, Asapp Studio has had different personnel changes, which has made our collaboration a little bit confusing.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a very clear idea about what you want to do. Additionally, it would be good for you to have a higher level of understanding of what app development implies. In my case, I was completely unfamiliar with that industry, so I ended up going through a learning curve initially. They supported me with some of those challenges, but most of the effort came from me trying to understand the industry.
