Aquarious Technology gave us an end-to-end service. They worked closely with us to work out various design options and then went on to the actual website development. They built everything from the ground up using WordPress. Additionally, they assisted with SEO.

Rajiv (Founder & CEO) managed the team. He was an excellent leader and developer.

We found them online through Guru. We put up a request, and they were the best candidates by far.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $4,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from June–October 2021 and went into the market in late December 2021. We’ve just pulled out of the market to rebuild the offering, so we’ll probably work with Aquarious Technology again.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We track several metrics for the website. For example, the number of cases in terms of SEO, where we stand on rankings, and traffic flow across the website. Also, we’ve done in-house testing of the site using our staff. Nonetheless, the website isn’t our primary tool. We use a separate funnel tool to access the market, and the site is there to support our members and provide them in the area — that’s its primary purpose. 

On the other hand, the designs are excellent, and they’ve given us an end-to-end model that works in terms of design and development.

How did Aquarious Technology Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was good. They were great with the budget, but they struggled to hit some targets. Nonetheless, they were very open and communicative, so they managed the expectations well throughout the project.

We used Zoom and Teams to communicate; we had our regular catch-up meeting at least once a week. Although they were mainly based in Singapore and India, we worked well together. Also, they were open to meeting more frequently as we finalized the development.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The customer engagement throughout the partnership was second to none. They were very transparent regarding the process and clear about the project plan. Aquarius Technology worked closely with us; when we were off track, they quickly corrected the course. All in all, they were very professional.

Are there any areas they could improve?

One piece that they needed to improve was the WordPress admin side. When we went through testing and deploying, we needed a bit more support to teach us how to administer the website going forward.

It’d be an exciting role if someone joined them. They’re well-led, dedicated, talented, and creative.

A project manager was appointed as a single point contact. Project updates were posted regularly on a project management team by Aquairous to keep us informed about the work in progress.

In the year since our launch, we have over 30k downloads in a small Geography and a 4.5-star rating of the App. New features have constantly been added to the app and we are already scaling our operations in other Geographies.

The quality and responsiveness of communication were impressive. My experience with Aquarious Technology was amazing. They developed a fantastic web site for me that looks great and functions exactly how I imagined. They used their experience to help shape the design and advise me along the way.

Above all, the quality of their customer service and communication was exceptional. They were responsive, engaging and completely accountable for their work. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for a similar project.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for someone who understood what brand partnerships stands for and bring out well through the website content. We wanted it to be short and crisp. Also as we are in the luxury segment, the requirement was to give a niche feel. All of this but within a smaller budget.

We gave a brief to the team and Rajiv on the requirements for the website. We completely relied on their expertise and guidance on how to go about this. They worked on a framework and shared it with us for approvals. Post which the team started working on the mock. They were very flexible to take our inputs and make changes wherever required. Basis the feedback, the final website was presented and made live after approval from our management.
