We cooperated with appvinio to create a loyalty platform for gamification between photovoltaic installers with whom FoxESS Polska cooperates.

We selected appvinio through interviews with a total of 8 IT companies. We had a meeting with each of them either online or offline to pitch our vision to them. The biggest problem for us while discussing the project was the lack of understanding of the project on the other side, which led to a mass of emails being exchanged.

We chose appvinio because: - they demonstrated a high level of understanding of our project topic, so based on their experience from previous projects, they were able to provide us with an offer for the application exactly what we wanted overnight - they were able to deliver the whole project to us on time, although the deadline was very short - their offer was within our budget

The system, which was created in cooperation with appvinio, consists of a mobile application, a server application that stores our database, and a web application which is a management panel for administrators. The mobile application itself contains a number of functionalities such as inverter installation registration or installer ranking.

Thanks to the administration panel, we can award prizes and give a special guarantee to installers who have met the conditions specified by us. Work on the project consisted of several phases. In the first phase, appvinio collected all the necessary information from us about the project, on the basis of which it created a mock-up of the whole application and an outline of technical specifications.

Meetings took the form of workshops where we could talk about our idea and concerns related to them. During the meetings, appvinio suggested a lot of solutions that we didn't come up with on our own, but which turned out to work better than the ones we came up with. After preparing the first version of the mockup and technical specification, we discussed it together and made a few comments, after which appvinio prepared the design of the entire solution for us.

Appvinio also helped us to set up the necessary accounts in the Google Play and AppStore stores and publish the application. In a word, as customers, we were able to participate in every stage of our software development. The application was launched at the beginning of June and with the first marketing activities starting in the middle of the month, we managed to recruit 150 installers and register almost 200 of our company's inverters in the first month of the platform's operation.

After 5 months, our active user base is growing steadily and currently stands at more than 600 installers and more than 2500 registered inverters

Communication in the project was very effective. The project manager was always available and accurately transferred information to our app development team.

The most impressed to us was: - the speed of understanding the topic of our project, because, in the case of other IT companies, with which we talked, we saw the problem in this area. - fast response in situations of reported problems - design and simplicity of the application.

We were particularly interested in the simplicity of the application, while appvinio added to this a very cool and minimalist design, which makes the application very impressive

There is always something to correct, while cooperation is already at a high level.

How did you select this vendor?

Flutter. We didn't know many other companies that specialized in coding for both ios and android. As they use Flutter, they very quickly made two apps for both platforms with code that is easy for improve in the future.

We provide initial documentation, but as we are inexperienced it the coding field, they talk with us a lot about what we need and what can be done in our budget. We learned a lot during this cooperation.

We had over 1000 downloads of each app, people liked this. This app was enhancement of our main game, so that goal was all that we needed.

Some templates and instructions on how to prepare images for apps. There weren't many problems with this, but if they improve that, they will be perfect.

Since we are now just after finishing the tests, we are looking for bakeries who will be interested to join our program. Several bakeries already declared that they are interesting to start selling with our application, so there is a lot of work for us to complete all necessary details. We hope to start with first locations at the beginning of 2020.

We are very glad of our workflow. To be honest we didn’t expect at the beginning that we can cooperate so effective. All our inquiries were responded very quickly – just one call or email and the answer was ready.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We are really impressed with apvinio's know-how! They are always open to our suggestions but also they are really good advisors. To be honest, they helped us to avoid a lot of possible mistakes in our project. We are convinced that we can trust their experience and creativity.

We worked with appvinio to build the MVP version of our 4GOAL app. Currently, we are working together with appvinio to develop the application even more.

We met the founder of appvinio some time ago, at a business meeting. Along with appvinio, we considered two other app development companies. We decided to go with appvinio because they have a lot of experience in mobile app development, their offer was within our budget and during our talks, they showed that they have a lot of interesting ideas, which are worth taking into consideration.

A mobile app was created for young soccer players who want to show their skills and for sports professionals to share their knowledge. A TikTok style app that primarily allows to: uploading videos editing videos browsing wall with videos the possibility of commenting, reacting, sharing videos authentication with Google, Facebook, and Apple among others support for extended user profiles In the project, an admin panel was also created, whose main functionalities are: ability to respond to reports about videos or profiles ability to send push communication to users of the mobile application verification of professional users accounts viewing statistics about users and videos

The project was implemented in the following stages Workshops We started cooperation on the project with a series of workshop meetings, during which we discussed the target group, value proposition, necessary functionalities, business model, and distribution model. Based on these meetings, we prepared a milestones map and we split features into a few app versions. appvinio cared that we first focused on the features that were the core of the idea. UX/UI design Based on the project concept, the team proceeded to UX and UI design. They started with the screen skeletons, on which the team took care to maintain the UX principles.

Next, the designer created the design using appropriate colors, referring to the football theme. When the design was ready, we discussed it with appvinio, focused mostly on the visual and functional aspects. Thanks to these discussions Finished design proposals were discussed together with appvinio, with emphasis on the visual and functional aspects. Thanks to these discussions, we came up with some very cool changes for the whole project. Development First of all, PM took care to prepare communication and project management tools, thanks to which we were in contact with appvinio and we could follow the project progress. The work was performed in two-week sprints.

At the end of each sprint, appvinio organized a meeting where the team presented us with the results of their recent work. These were very cool meetings because we could see that the project was developing as planned and according to our expectations. We were giving our comments on a regular basis and they were immediately taken into account. We were also able to see the progress of changes on our smartphones because appvinio provided us the opportunity to test the app during the development process.

Release During the development process, appvinio helped us create new accounts on Google Play and AppStore, and then prepared and properly configured profiles where the app could be downloaded. Once the app was completed and tested, appvinio uploaded the final version to Google Play and AppStore and took care of contacting us in case of questions from app store administrators.

Thanks to smooth implementation, during the first 3 months of the application's activity, we managed to gain almost 2000 users who generated traffic in the form of 60 000 video views.

Communication in the project was very smooth, for which the Project Manager on the appvinio side was primarily responsible. He organized necessary meetings, passed information from the development team and to the development team. He proved to be a very good contact person. The results of each sprint were presented during a meeting where we were able to express our opinions and possible comments.

Appvinio also discussed with us the next steps and results we could expect from the next sprint. For communication, we mainly used Slack, where we had access to all members involved in the project. We used Google Meet to discuss the project or present progress.
