We wanted a web app and tecHangouts LLC made that happen. We came up with the idea, design, concepts and written requirements. I sent those to them and they planned how to implement it.

Since it was our first project, we had many changes. They helped us refine the concept and did initial consultations until we had our first product. Then they took over the technical development, determined the best tech stack to achieve our goals. They built the backend with Node.js and frontend with the Angular framework and did in-house testing.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

tecHangouts LLC delivered exactly what we asked for, function wise and implementation. I would rate them 5/5 across the board. I worked with another company before and they were terrible compared to tecHangouts LLC.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

We are very happy with their project management. There were a few minor delays (which is common in development) but most of them were due to our own oversights which they promptly addressed.

Communication was perfect. We had weekly meetings to discuss the agenda.

I liked how they helped us. They gave us many tips such as how we can improve and which tools to use for payments. Their support was top notch.

We are happy overall. There were a few miscommunications but that’s expected when you outsource.

Plexera's PlexArray® HT is a high-throughput, label-free biomolecular interaction detection system based on Surface Plasmon Resonance imaging (SPRi) technology. The PlexArray® HT is a fully integrated, easy to use platform for analyzing 10’s, 100’s, or 1000’s of biomolecular interactions in a single reaction. Plexera offers customized contract research services for a wide range of applications includes small molecule drug discovery, protein characterization, analysis of target selectivity and specificity, antibody screening and selection, and biomarker discovery.

The project was managed by an outsourced team from tecHangouts LLC. They developed products with all the required features to meet our business needs. First, the design team created clickable prototypes for all the apps we wanted to build. The first phase was to build the MVP versions of the modern mobile applications. We then further developed the products and adjusted them to market needs and maintained them post release.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

One of our apps for nursing homes has been very successful. What started as a startup with 3 people has grown to a company with dozens and is the first of its kind in Australia. The service is in many facilities around the country and we are looking to expand our client base with feature changes within the app..

Compared to other teams we’ve worked with, tecHangouts LLC was very good at understanding our requirements. The face to face meetings were great and we had them several times during the project. tecHangouts LLC even recommended we have these meetings to finalise the products together. Despite the investment and effort required (due to the distance) we really liked the benefits of this approach.

tecHangouts LLC’s consultants communicated well in English, they were engaged in the project and determined to resolve any issues that arose. They have a well documented development process and we could check the results regularly. The apps were shared in a cloud based testing environment and we received documentation, design visuals and test versions of the products.
