What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

When there was an issue appotype pro-activly was seeking and proposing alternatives to reach the expected goal.
One of the engineers came to our location at a crucial moment to cooperate as close as possible. Sitting next to each other futher improved communication. This was really appreciated by us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Appotype could have done differently?

Gain even more experience with building flutter applications for embedded linux platforms.

Pay more attention to the impact of the environment on which the flutter app will operate with the goal to identify and mitigate risks as soon as possible.

Appotype designed and implemented from scratch an educational platform consisting of a mobile app, a web app and a website. The project included a full range of work, from requirements gathering, design, implementation and post-implementation support.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was successfully launched on schedule. The official launch has taken place and the platform is now being used by users across the country.

The project was managed according to the SCRUM methodology. We were in constant contact with Appotype, attended daily meetings and were kept up to date with the progress of the work. Everything was delivered on time and in accordance with our needs.

Appotype showed great commitment and flexibility. They responded quickly to changes in requirements made on our part. They were proactively involved in determining the best solutions for our objectives. Our cooperation went very smoothly.

I’m the CEO of Braster S.A., a medical devices company.

We needed help with mobile app development.

What was the scope of their involvement?
They were responsible for developing our Android and iOS apps in the past. For this project, they upgraded our iOS app used by individuals at home and in medical facilities like hospitals and clinics. They also conducted about a week of testing.

Appotype built our mobile apps a few years ago, and they were initially a recommendation.

It was very successful, and the new version of our iOS app was finished very quickly.

They delivered on time, within budget, and were responsive. We had really good contact during the work, and if we had any problems, they fixed it within a day.

Appotype works quickly.

I’m an executive medtech startup. We have built a wearable patch system that is a medical device - clinical standard ecg that can be used remotely in patient homes

Appotype built our software from begging. It consists both of Mobile App, Backend and Webservice. Mobile App is connecting with our BLE ECG device. Challenge was to deliver robust software that will meet medical device standards.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The vendor made for us an audit of previous software and started to work with us first with debugging the previous one. Then we have decided to built new system from scratch.

The aim was to deliver a robust software that will receive ECG data from our recorder on the mobile device. We are using BLE and iOS devices. The mobile device sends through internet data to the AWS Cloud.

Work was done good, system is working well and fulfilling all regulatory requirements. Audit of notified body successful.

Everything done well along to the schedule. We have performed daily meetings communicating through ZOOM. We worked in 2 week sprints

We do not have the full outcome yet. But the test results looks promosing.

Very transparant, good understanding about what to measure. They were very self-sufficient.  Also fast and adequate communication.

The origninal time estimation was at the low side, so it took a bit longer then expected.
