• We engaged applabs.code for a frictionless, low-latency mobile stack for our recruitment services as an Android/iOS app. The aim was to make the app capable of dynamic kinds of provisions so that recruiters and job seekers could interact with each other as per the needs.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The process started with a deep dive discussion in which I provided an extensive requirements document that outlined the characteristics and purposes of the app. The team then got started on the UI/UX design and went through milestones including Core Development, Functionality Integration.

The transparency in gathering feedback at each phase of the project to finally deliver in line with our expectation. It was built on React Native, and it served the purpose brilliantly as one could hardly feel any difference between the two platforms.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It was really nice to see our vision grow into a fully functioning mobile app. Right now the app is in beta, but it has changed the game for us here internally. We are excited to see how much the way we connect employers and candidates will be improved on Prospecthire once the app is live. Thanks to this fluent motion, with a user-friendly API -Vuetify, the app will definitely offer a premium experience.

The organization and responsiveness in their project management were excellent. Progress updates through email and messaging, and regular meetings via Google Meet were a couple of the recurring get togethers for feature iterations. All the more immediate clarifications / small updates were done on skype and it really aided in swift exchange.

They not only managed to keep us on track with the deadlines but could also accommodate our feedback at every level of each and every development cycle.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

One of the best features I would talk about their professionalism and they always does what they mean. They had really great design skills, especially in the field of mobile UI and generally provided creative approaches to almost every challenge.

There was also a time-related issue, but however (and expected), the communication flows quite well and it helps to develop work. My entire team both wants to (and is also willing!) to deliver the ultimate experience for our vision.

Are there any areas for improvement or something applabs.codes could have done differently?

I think that there could have been more extensive initial testing of important parts. That said, the team was very responsive in fixing any discovered issues or bugs the moment they were identified and that kept the user experience around the app clean and reliable. The readiness to handle minor things in troubleshooting also proved their dedication to delivering good quality work.

We gave Vidflow a script idea, overall messaging direction, and design assets and asked them to ideate and develop an animated explainer video for a new product feature we were launching. Vidflow worked with us on a very tight timeline to achieve all milestones throughout the project including a final script, voice-over candidate options and style refinement, storyboarding, and reviews and approval of all visual elements. They met our timeline and were a pleasure to work with!

They had great project management and the whole team worked with us very well over Slack (our preferred method of communication). All communications were to the point and friendly. They were very responsive and worked well with our team.

Nope! We really enjoyed working with them. This was our 3rd video project and they have done a great job on each one. Would highly recommend them.
