I am the COO for a mid-sized consulting organization that engages in Business Enablement and Business Transformation for Small and Mid-sized Businesses especially in a post-pandemic situation.

We have a vision - to take education to the rural masses of India and hired Appegic to translate our vision into reality. Our goal was to have an affordable, simple to use and scalable product that could be rolled out efficiently while working around the constraints of network connectivity and bandwidth issues in remote villages

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Appegic were referred to us through a mutual contact. Cost, timeframe and commitment to delivery were the key deciding factors

They designed a system based on PHP/SQL keeping in mind the need to be cost effective and we worked in a purely agile mode, reviewing each feature and working on changes together.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were 4 people, the project manager, the technical architect, and two developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The feedback from our customers has been - "Wow - this product is so cool to use".

Project management was good although I would add a recommendation to create a structured project plan and track against it.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The trust they placed in us and the way they have held our trust... at each step they treated our project as their own, and our business as their own. And this is a culture that has permeated from the top through the ranks.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Maybe just think a bit more about documentation, processes and structured comms such as status reports.

We wanted to develop a project that was specialised in streaming videos and movies on a pay per view basis.

We found this vendor thru one of their previous clients. They recommended them to us.

We had multiple stage of meetings and at each stage the team was helpful and gave many valuable inputs. The technology they used were Native, MySql and Php which was sufficient for our requirements

We were allocated seven resources from their office and they also came onsite for deployment and testing.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within 3 months of the launch, we saw nearly 1,00,000 downloads of the app and more than 80% of positive review.

The team was very prompt and the assigned manager was very active and was available round the clock

They were very dedicated and went out of their way to get us the output in much better way than we expected.
