What challenge were you trying to address with AppDeft?

We were looking for mobile and web app development services. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to close our shops, so we were only doing deliveries or takeaways. We needed something to facilitate the online process.

What was the scope of their involvement?

So far, AppDeft has developed an iOS app, an Android app, and two web apps: one for us and one for our customers.

We’ve only worked with the owner. He has a team of about 30–40 people working for him.

How did you come to work with AppDeft?

I searched on Fiverr and Clutch and found the same name. I reached out to them, and we set up a Zoom call.

We’ve spent more than $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the partnership around April 2021, and it’s still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The mobile apps are complete. For the web apps, one is complete, and the other isn’t. At the moment, 70% of the customers order online, so they don't have to wait in the shop. They get a notification on their phone when their order is ready for pick up. We currently have about 10,000 customers logged in.

How did AppDeft perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet the deadlines and stay on budget. We usually communicate on Zoom when we need design changes or something else. For regular communication, we use WhatsApp. We also use Trello for project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re trustworthy. They’ve done everything they said they would.

No, there are none.

AppDeft allowed me to make payments once they've completed each milestone that we agreed on. This was one of the main reasons I went with them. Other companies wanted me to pay for everything upfront and wait for their progress.

• Targeting gamers who are looking for a comprehensive drafting tool to enhance their gameplay experience.

• Ability to enter both team names.
• Simple interface for easy navigation and usage.
• Integration with Riot API to periodically import champion icons for up-to-date information.
• Ability to export drafts for players to keep and reference later, with the option to save draft links for future consultation.

They delivered all items on time and kept me updated every week on the progress that was made. If they had any question or if some things needed to be ironed out, they reached out to organise a virtual meeting for me to meet with the project lead or even the devs sometime to explain and make sure we are on the same page.

• Landing Page Completion: Appdeft successfully launching the landing page, which serves as the first interaction point for potential users, significantly aids in marketing the app and gathering user interest ahead of the official launch. 
• UI/UX Design Finalization: Completing the UI/UX design, critical for user engagement and satisfaction, marks a major milestone. Its effectiveness is measurable through user testing feedback on usability and design appeal. 
• App Development Nearing Completion: With app development 90% finished, key functionalities and the interface are nearly ready, indicating the project is on track for a timely launch. This stage’s success is highlighted by the app’s stability and alignment with the project timeline. 
• Launch Preparedness: The app’s impending launch is a clear indicator of progress, reflecting not only development achievements but also the readiness of marketing, operational, and support frameworks essential for a successful market debut.

AppDeft's project management was highly professional. They maintained regular updates and were exceptionally responsive to our needs throughout the development process. We held weekly meetings every Monday to discuss progress, which ensured transparency and alignment on project objectives. 
These sessions allowed us to address any concerns promptly and adjust plans as needed. Additionally, we received builds every Friday, which gave us a tangible sense of the development progress and allowed for real-time feedback. This structured approach not only facilitated smooth communication but also ensured that all deliverables were completed on time.
