We created an efficient, detailed design document and jumped into development. They adapted to new ideas and gave me many creative solutions. App development is a living thing, and they brought the project to life. Even now, during beta testing, I feel totally supported and confident because of their knowledge, talent, and communication skill.

We're live on Google Play, we're speaking with large potential partners, and we've received tremendous positive attention on social media. All this is possible because of The App Solutions. They went far beyond the call of duty to make it happen.

Our workflow is tremendously good. Their project managers are some of the best in the world. They're extremely patient and capable, and they lay out all my options. Since we're all friends now, our interactions are conversational but also professional, efficient, and stress-free. The team cares about my success and does their best to find solutions. I cannot emphasize enough how invaluable this intangible quality is.

I’ve worked with The APP Solutions with multiple companies on a variety of projects, both internal and external. They’re my go-to development partner, handling every challenge I throw their way.

What was the scope of their involvement?

At this point, I’ve completed several projects with The APP Solutions. In an engagement a few years ago, their team helped my company with a project for a client. They developed a booking system with a custom interface and integrated it with an existing website’s backend. The APP Solutions created the user flow, connected APIs, and provided custom code. They turned a strictly informational website into a fully interactive booking system for the client’s customers.

On another project, The APP Solutions helped us to build out and develop an MVP for a new advertising service we were creating. They were involved in the product development and conceptualization processes and handled our backend integration. They also connected the ad hoc solution we started with on our own to Google's APIs to create an automated workflow that streamlined our user's experience and reduced the amount of time it took to manage the tool internally. Unfortunately, the base service within Android that we were building our solution on top of was retired by Google, but the project had managed to get quite a few pilot clients before that thanks to the great work The APP Solutions delivered for us. Without their help, this project never would have gotten past the proof of concept stage and been able to become an MVP, with active paying customers.

I speak to the CEO before we start any project to share my needs and ideas. He connects me with a project manager, who will lead a larger team of resources. Over the course of my relationship with The APP Solutions, I’ve worked with about four project managers in total—all of them have been top-notch.

I have a large network in Eastern Europe and have worked with several development companies there over the years. The APP Solutions is the one I've stuck with and will keep coming back to.

I’ve spent about $30,000–$35,000 in total, including both internal and external projects.

I first engaged The APP Solutions in June 2015, and we’ve done several projects with them since. We just finished our last one in October 2018. We don’t have an active engagement at the moment, but we have another one on the horizon and will be working with them again soon.

They’ve been instrumental in our internal success. We’re a marketing agency, so we don’t have in-house development resources. The APP Solutions enables us to test new ideas and build experimental solutions that we can leverage internally and offer to our clients. We have a competitive edge over market competitors because not many agencies produce their own advertising and marketing software solutions. They help us improve our company operations and client relationships, executing any idea or vision we share with them.

They’re an insanely responsive and competent team. I’ve been impressed with every resource I’ve had the pleasure of working with. They are timely, organized, and proactive. It’s clear that they care about their clients. They actively try to understand the reasons behind each project—they don’t just execute based on the requirements that we provide. Because they understand those nuanced details, they’re able to provide feedback and suggestions to improve the final product. We treat them as a partner rather than an outsourced team. Overall, our workflow is easy and fluid.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When I first engaged them, they were a different company that soon merged with The APP Solutions. I’ve watched them evolve, and they’re moving in the direction of advertising and marketing technology. It’s an added value to their business because they not only understand technical tools and elements, but they also understand the strategies driving them.

For example, an internal project that they helped us with involved proximity marketing. When we shared the concept with The APP Solutions, they were already familiar with the technology we planned on using. They added valuable insight into our development roadmap, improving our vision for the final product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m happy with everything about them. They’re reasonably priced, responsive, skilled, and friendly. I have absolutely nothing negative to say, which is why our relationship has lasted so long.

Any advice for potential customers?

Clients should treat them like a doctor—tell them everything and don’t be shy. If their team is aware of every business challenge and roadblock, they’ll deliver a product that solves each problem. They’ve added value to all of our projects.

We provide a push-notifications marketing solution aiming to cut costs for enterprise businesses. Our startup was launched in early-2013 and acquired in November of that year by a Canadian mobile engagement solutions provider.

What challenge were you trying to address with The App Solutions?

We started out with a small team. We didn't have any full-time mobile developers, and the first version of our software had been developed by one of our founders, who had a background in backend programming. It was slow and ineffective, which is why we contacted The App Solutions' team.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The App Solutions has provided consultation for our technical questions, also helping with the architecture of our backend solution. The App Solutions provided iOS and Android development, but we handled the backend coding in-house.

We also needed to develop an SDK [software development kit] for the Android and iOS platforms, which required around 15 hours of work. We didn't want to hire developers for this work, given that the core of our system consisted of the backend, not the development libraries. The App Solutions helped us launch these 2 libraries, which came to be one of the reasons our company was acquired.

How did you come to work with The App Solutions?

The App Solutions was recommended by a couple of our friends, as well as by our seed investor. We were a small company in need of fast results. The App Solutions guaranteed that they could provide the workforce for our tasks immediately.

Our project with The App Solutions consisted of 50–70 hours of work, at a rate of $35 per hour. The backend consultation was provided for free.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with The App Solutions in May 2015, but our consultation process may have started a couple of months before that time. The development part of our work took around 6 weeks to complete.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I don't have any metrics to share, but I am certain that our SDKs were the reason why we received interest from our parent company and several others.

The SDKs were developed in only a couple of weeks. It was a great experience, and we didn't need to wait long for results.

As our internal team focused on web and push notifications, The App Solutions helped us cover the mobile app portion of the work. Before the autumn of 2015, we already had a fully-featured solution for mobile, the web, and desktops.

We have treated The App Solutions' team as our friends. The collaboration was both personal and professional, and it was a pleasure to work with The App Solutions, even when we identified bugs in the first versions.

The project was not very long. The App Solutions provided the best developers for us, especially on iOS. Their team lead also performed well and took responsibility for the job. I have no critiques.

Proxy rotation and custom SMTP testing increased system reliability, ensuring more trustworthy email verification results.
