American Eagle coordinated the domain transfer and helped guide the overall setup of our new website. They recommended the Shopify platform and theme, created the site layout, and imported our existing products and customer data from the old site. 
They also set up email campaigns, integrated ShipStation and QuickBooks with the new Shopify store, and provided backend training and support. In addition, they guided us in setting up our Facebook and Instagram channels, helped establish our Meta ads account, and are now managing daily and weekly posts to build awareness and drive traffic to the new site.

The project’s setup, design, content, and integrations were completed successfully and on time.

Overall we had a great experience. The only suggestion would be to ensure that development changes are reviewed holistically before publishing to production—for example confirming that Shopify Flow configurations created in dev are fully updated for the live environment to prevent errors.

Following the launch of the new website, Sydnee Emerson has been a wonderful manager for our account - constantly checking in and being willing to help with any need we might find.

The full-scale operations of Americaneagle.com were most impressive for us. What started as a projecvt for website development has expanded into email marketing and eventually social media marketing initiatives. Our email marketing efforts underperformed, but I feel that has more to do with our target demographic not graviatating towards this way of marketing. This being said, they were understanding when we said we wanted to pivot and provided plenty of information in choosing the next step.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Americaneagle.com has built and rebuilt our site four times. As technology and customer expectations change, it often makes more sense to rebuild on a new platform than to keep making incremental changes. We don’t have an in-house development team, so after a site is built, we use monthly retainer hours to handle everything from web design to front-end development and third-party integrations, such as marketing tools and advanced analytics tracking.

The first build prevented us from going out of business due to too much business. We ultimately made the Inc. 5000 list in 2010 and 2011 primarily due to the improved website. Each rebuild is designed to leverage new technologies that reduce workloads while delivering solutions our customers have come to expect.

We’ve had multiple project managers over the years. They’ve all become valued members of our team and helped us navigate our options and fulfill our visions. They deliver on time. We mainly communicate through virtual meetings.

I appreciate our project team and their ability to orchestrate the work of various experts to achieve our vision. Currently, our project manager is Janine (Senior Project Manager). She’s a superstar manager and coordinator. Her depth of experience, knowledge, and relationships within the larger organization make her a critical member of our team.
