Amap infotech was tasked with taking a concept for a mobile dating app, designing it, developing it, and testing it.  The concept evolved over time into a very robust, full-featured dating app.  In addition, I asked them to act as product managers, developing new, functional product ideas that would set it apart from the competition.  We also decided to add AI functionality near the end of the development cycle, which further set it apart from its competition.

The app was delivered on time and released in June 2024 in Colorado. Amap infotech supported the release and made quick fixes as needed.  I continue to use Amap infotech to add features and functionality as required.

The app is full-featured and delivered on time. When we went live, there were a few glitches, but we fixed those very quickly, and the app is now solid. The app has been well-received by users since its release and has doubled in membership in four months.

Amap infotech is very well organized and uses tools to track changes, issues, upgrades, etc. All people involved in the app's design and development are engaged in the tracking system, which works well.

Most updates were delivered on time. However, certain features and functionality were added by management during the development process, which clearly caused delays. Their most important attribute is their ability to respond to requests quickly throughout the process.

 Amap infotech has developed an app for Android and iOS based on my interface designs. Initially, I showed them the screens I wanted the app to have and how it should run.  Amap infotech and I have started with an NDA and a discovery call to understand what I wanted the app to do and how I imagined it to work, and techahead provided feedback, which was very useful.

We had a kick-off call and signed the contract, which they adjusted per my requests.

The app is a camera app that links users with other people for shared albums they create together. When a user takes photos or videos through the camera, the other person has immediate access to those photos and videos. Users can also make a customized and shareable checklist.

The quality of  Amap infotech work has met my expectations, and I'm delighted with the app's quality; it looks like a professionally-made app.

The project has been on budget. I've had some additional requests, and  Amap infotech has been on top of everything. We haven't had to deal with anything out of our control that needed more hours to pivot. The team has taken those costs themselves and hasn't asked me to pay more.

We had to delay the app's release slightly because I wanted to do extra things, and something that was out of our control. However, I haven't had issues because I'm not rushing. We've gone back and forth with the app, but everything has been clear, professional, and timely.

 Amap infotech updates me on the progress with weekly reports, so I don't need to chase anyone. The team has also shared a three-page slide deck report through email.

We had many video calls at the beginning of the project, where the team understood what I wanted the app to do and how I wanted the screens to look. After that, we had calls twice a week, which became weekly calls. Now, we mainly communicate through email or WhatsApp.
