We engaged Alphabet Productions to produce lifestyle videos and professional photography for Kamo Residences by Reflections and Miya Townhouse by Reflections in Kyoto. Our brief was to showcase the properties’ architecture, interiors, guest experiences and surroundings in a way that reflected our luxury hospitality positioning.

The scope included creative planning, storyboarding, casting, location scouting, directing, filming, photography and post-production, including editing, colour grading and retouching. Deliverables included promotional films, short-form edits, room videos and content formatted for our websites, social media and booking platforms such as Trip.com.

For Kamo Residences by Reflections, this included a two-minute brand film, a 30-second version, several 15-second edits and a high-resolution library of lifestyle and architectural photographs. Andrew was exceptionally professional throughout. We had very high expectations for the presentation of our properties, and he delivered beyond them. Both the films and photography exceeded the standard we had hoped to achieve. We would confidently recommend Alphabet Productions to businesses seeking outstanding visual content and a highly professional production partner.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

The project delivered high-quality promotional films and retouched photography that strengthened our marketing and supported our commercial success in a highly competitive hospitality market. The content helped us present our properties as distinctive alternatives to major five-star hotels in Kyoto and across Japan.

Andrew’s greatest achievement was translating our brand identity, hospitality culture and carefully considered property details into an authentic visual experience. He went beyond showing beautiful interiors to communicate what staying with us actually feels like—the atmosphere, personalised service and attention to detail that distinguish our properties.

The result was a cohesive collection of marketing assets with lasting commercial value, bringing our online presentation closer to the quality of the real guest experience. His professionalism, creative understanding and finished work exceeded our already high expectations.

1. Follow-on work: room-type videos in 2024 and Miya Townhouse videos in horizontal and vertical formats for booking sites.

Alphabet Productions delivered on time and within budget, with exceptional planning throughout. Andrew’s preparation included pre-shoot property visits, model scouting and careful audio selection to complement the visual content. Every element was coordinated around our requirements and the character of our properties.

We particularly valued his integrated approach, bringing creative planning, casting, filming, photography and sound together into one cohesive production. He understood our high standards and translated our vision into carefully considered creative choices. His professionalism and attention to detail made the entire experience exceptionally well managed, with results that exceeded our expectations.

What impressed us most was Andrew’s ability to see our properties through a guest’s eyes and translate that perspective into his direction and production. He understood that hospitality is about more than beautiful rooms: it is the atmosphere, personal attention and small details that shape how a stay feels.

His work captured our identity and hospitality culture, helping prospective guests imagine themselves staying with us rather than simply viewing the accommodation. His integrated creative approach was equally impressive.

Pre-shoot visits, model selection, visual storytelling and carefully chosen audio all contributed to a cohesive result. He balanced creative ambition with authenticity, preserving each property’s distinctive character rather than applying a generic luxury aesthetic.

That combination of thoughtful preparation, understanding of the guest experience and exceptional professionalism set Alphabet Productions apart. The finished work exceeded our already high expectations.

None that we can identify. Andrew delivered on time and within budget, with exceptional professionalism and results that exceeded our already high expectations.
