We have a wholesale B2B website based in Shopify. They made a portal where customers can log in to see customized prices and place orders. They also integrated the portal with our in-house ERP.

I started working with Nick in August 2020. We’ve completed the portal project, but our work is ongoing since I’ve decided to do additional development work with him.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

It’s still early in our relationship, but so far, so good. I haven’t gotten any feedback from my customers yet.

Their project management and communication are very good. We communicate through phone calls and emails.

Their attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality product make them stand out.

No, they’re the best.

Do it. They’re worth it. Just explain what you need clearly.

Our online presence and marketing were nonexistent. We hired them to help us with that process.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The team helped us set up a Shopify website. I had issues with that platform in the past, but they were able to come in and implement something cohesive. We discussed how to present our product properly, how to price things regularly for recurring orders, and what information to display. We put things on the table to compare and contrast against our competitors. They also made a video with their help.

The work cost less than $5,000.

We worked with Algoseed Labs from June–July 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Algoseed Labs delivered everything as expected and better. Without having an online presence, we were missing on sales. It’s helped to close deals for us. We’ve been able to direct people onto the site as opposed to having them call us. Everything’s great from our perspective.

How did Algoseed Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

They managed the entire project. I told them what I wanted, and they were key in getting that done. We used phone, email, and WhatsApp for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The pricing was great. That’s the most important thing for a startup business like ourselves. But the ease of use and direction was also noteworthy. When it came to making the video for our site, they not only suggested it but lead us in the right direction. The ease of being able to communicate when we wanted was definitely a massive difference from other competitors.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s not much to be said. We’re very happy with the experience.

Be clear and upfront with what you’re looking for. But also take their advice because it does yield results.

So far Algoseed has met all the deadlines and has done an amazing job on the website. The client is really happy and satisfied.
