A recent collaboration with Piedmont whereby their vision of healthcare and support was in need of a revamp. The idea of the mobile app started my project alongside Shobhit and his team at Aksharam Solutions. Their expertise in mobile app development are highly recommended.

What were your goals for this project?

Personally, to create all of the content (writing and imagery) for the mobile app, while Aksharam developed the app. It was a mutual collaboration which seemed to function very well.

The Piedmont Now app was designed to provide instant support to navigate the entire Piedmont experience. Hospital locations, appointment scheduler, and a health chart were all curated to make the processes of healthcare support simple. Shobhit and I collaborated throughout this project, who I must say is a great communicator.

And the results his team produced were efficient but also of high quality. The mobile app design was a 3-month process, with a further month to seamlessly connect both app and content together. Overall we've managed to design a valuable mobile app for Piedmont and its customers.

I worked alongside Shobhit who then distributed the work across his team for an organised team composition.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The Piedmont mobile app has had over 10,000 installs on Google Play, with a 4* user rating. Customer responses, especially those aged 40-60, have been very positive, showing great success in making healthcare support easier and simpler.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective, can't really complain. Shobhit and his team have a strong collaborative nature and are a pleasure to work with.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their knowledge across all platforms of digital design impressed me. I will definitely be working with them in future projects.

Not this time around. Great project with great people.

I work for a privately owned club which offers various services to the public. I am the marketing manager there and it was my responsibility includes online presence and marketing through the website.

We needed to revamp our old website with a fresh new look and feel that showed our brand identity. We contacted them through the manifest and after a few rounds of interviews we finally selected Askharam Solutions for our project.

What were your goals for this project?

Ours goals for this project was to shape up the website to attract a youth oriented audience, which is the main reason behind our revamping project. for that the website has to be mobile responsive and show all content in an attractive manner.

We found Askharam Solutions listing on the mainfest and searched out their reviews on other portals such as trustpilot, to get an idea of them and their services. After doing our research and reviewed their past work we hired Shobhit and his team to take care of the websites design and development work.

So we wanted to revamp our old website with SEO friendly elements to conduct online marketing in time. for that, the key part was to design the entire website as per SEO standards and with a minimalistic design to get the 'youth' audience attention. Aksharam Solutions was one of those vendors who had experience in the same domain and held a reputation for their customer satisfaction.

At the beginning, Shobhit was in communication with me. He helped in finalization project with us and clear our doubts. Later on, the project manager with the designer , and developer were in communication with me untill deployment.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We was so amazed to see the design they made for the website. it was beyond our expectations! They took time in making the design right, however the hard work paid off in style! They used use WordPress to give finial shape to designs. We are now experiencing progressive footfalls on our website on a daily basis. This is all thanks to Aksharam for this success.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

it was satisfactory. They used asana tool to manage project activities and Skype to conduct weekly meetings. they Also used Agile methodology for our project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have a 'never say no' attitude. Shobhit and his teammates always honor our tiny request we had and gave solutions all the time.

Nothing major.

Post launched, customer has been able to contact us quickly and efficiently. We wanted Customer to easily open our website on mobiles and now the website is aligned to mobile devices. We are now able to control the content and update it without any developer's help

The experience was great, they went the extra mile to help me since I am new to the IT world.

They answered my naive questions in easy to understand context.

They were very proactive and inventive. They had elaborating and generous ideas which made our task very easy. With that said, they were also very efficiently adapting to our changing organisational needs.

They launched various Google AdWords campaigns as well social media accounts to promote the website. With the huge influx of Indian students to Canada, this became an incredibly important market that we needed to capitalize on and by keeping our budget in mind, the ad campaigns worked well in our favor, as promised by Aksharam soultions.

Two people worked on the entire marketing side of things remotely from India. One overlooked the Google AdWords campaigns and the other social media campaigns. All the findings and results were then sent forward to us.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The campaigns worked well. All the deadlines were met and the results delivered upon without any compromises. We had a 20% increase in our online sales and actually got an online presence.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was detalied and well planned out with a step-by-step on how they were going to proceed. They were very professional as they met all the goals without any delays.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The ability to stick to their word and deliver the results.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Cost was an issue as the project became slightly expensive for a small business. Moreover, with the difference in time zone, communication was an issue. Wish they had a team catering to our time zone.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Before this project, we handled everything on Excel, paper, or verbal communication. After this project, we really felt the difference. Now, we can see all inventory details (e.g., item quantity) in the system for every item, and the system is accessible every time. The coordination is backed with data/proof, now. This will help in tracking, reporting, and compliance in a greater way.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management was spot on. Working with non-technical guys like us was tough, but they understood our expectations early on and were really experienced in handling such projects. We didn't have any trouble in communication or project management.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed with their overall mindset and approach right from the beginning, and they were supportive throughout the project.

No. We are already discussing many more opportunities with them and hope things work out.

Entire project managed by their team over Trello. There were 2-3 instances where we need to make direct calls, rest all managed over Trello.

They were helpful in all aspects of the project, including nontechnical aspects in which we consult them frequently. It's worth hiring them.

The goal was to bring our vision of Bookhop to life through an agile development process.

We selected Aksharam based upon an Internet search, email, and phone interview.

The app connects students on their local campus with others who are interested in buying or selling used books. Aksharam completed the end-to-end development and submitted the app to the App Store and Google Play store.

The team consisted of the company owner, the product owner, and the Aksharam development team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The app was delivered as per the established specifications.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was fine considering the distance between the product owner and the development teams. The Skype calls and videoconferences were effective, and we used email to exchange documents. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Not only was the programming done well, but Aksharam was also able to quickly implement changes.

Overall, I was very happy with both the team and the outcomes.
