Additionally, AIMDek handled backend development, database design, API integrations, and front-end user interface creation, ensuring a seamless user experience. The project successfully delivered a fully functional AI-powered platform that met all of our core objectives. With AIMDek’s implementation of ML and NLP capabilities, task creation efficiency improved by approximately 40% due to automated prioritization and conversational task input.

We were able to launch Tudu.ai to market on schedule, onboard early adopters without major technical issues, and receive positive feedback on the platform’s ease of use and intelligent automation. The scalable architecture developed by AIMDek also positioned us to seamlessly add new features and integrate third-party tools in future releases.

The Scope of Work included upgrading several key platform features, upgrading the Hyperlegder Blockchain Fabric infrastructure, developing and deploying the PWA version of the platform to the Apple and Google app stores, upgrading and maintaining all AWS resources, and creating new financial instrumnets using smart contracts including implementing the associated transaction flows.

The key deliverables included a fully featued production-ready platform, an upgraded Blockchain infrastructure and a fully deployed PWA to the Apple and Google app stores.

Fully featured production platform deployed for customer onboarding and enhnced post-release support, maintenance and upgrade.

AIMDek's project management was well-aligbned to the needs of a nimble startup — they provided a detailed implemention plan upfront, along with a mitigation strategy to solve for unexpected issues that may be encountred. We did experience some unexpected issues unrelated to the proidct development, as is natural with most early-stage startups. The AIMDek team adapded very well to these situatins, and delivred the proiect in a timely manner.

We did have a few changing needs on our end — the AIMDek team was able to seamlesly integrate these changes into their project management perocess, by allocatig the needed resources, so that the overall project was still delivered on time with the highest quality.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

From the outset, they had the mindset of being a "partber" vs. a "service provide" — i.e., they wanted to be with us on our journey for the long term, not just for this one project. This was evident from their culture of adapting to our changing needs without changes in pricing or timeline. We have worked with other vendors and service providers in the past, but found that AIMDek has an unique culture that understands the early-stage startup culture and dynamics very well.

Are there any areas for improvement or something AIMDek Technologies could have done differently?

Overall,. the project was very well executed. There were a few occasions where a coulpe of feature implemtations had to be changed due to different understandings of the same feature by either side — the weekly Sprint demos caght most of these issues — a possible area for improvement might be for the development team to ask us any and all questions that arise during the development process, as and when needed, without waiting for specifc meetings.

We have met or exceeded all of our committed delivery dates to our customers and/or our stakeholders over the past 3 years. One of the key reasons we were able to accomplish this is that we were able to quickly add resources on projects/initiatives where required and this was almost entirely provided through Aimdek. Aimdek has a consistent track record of providing strong resources and responding quickly to our evolving business/technical needs.

AIMDek Technologies provided us with resources knowledgeable in Liferay, who worked with us on a subcontracting model for more than a year. With their help, we integrated various backend systems into a single platform for our client, allowing business developers and retailers to collaborate on the supply chain and R&D of the products. Additionally, AIMDek Technologies provided other services related to Salesforce and UI development.

The quality of AIMDek Technologies’ work was amazing, and they helped us fix the bugs we found to improve the product. They also helped us define some of the key features of this project, ultimately improving the structure of the portal we created. AIMDek Technologies performed quite well with an agile methodology; they immediately integrated into our team. We used Jira and Atlassian for project management, as well as Microsoft Teams for our main communication.

AIMDek has very skilled resources who are ready to do the job. Additionally, they have a very good technical training program in place, so they can provide resources for every need.

AIMDek could improve their product management. It would be great if they had a product manager who could make their team even more productive.

Go into the project with a very clear scope and make AIMDek aware of your expectations before you engage with them so that they know how much time and effort your project requires.

I am the director of technology at a service provider for e-commerce businesses. We act as a concierge service for package delivery.

What challenge were you trying to address with AIMDek Technologies?

We wanted to expand our services to include a grocery delivery service, so we engaged AIMDek Technologies to build an iOS application for us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We brought AIMDek Technologies on to build an iOS application with a Shopify integration, along with a Shopify website, that our customers could use to purchase groceries. Once users placed their orders, they would soon be available at one of our pickup centers because we did not yet offer home delivery.

One of their developers sat in on our daily scrums to provide us with updates. We gave them a code repository and a hosting environment, so all they had to do was submit their code so that we could review it. Much of their work was completed using Swift.

What is the team composition?

A product owner led the engagement from a technical standpoint.

How did you come to work with AIMDek Technologies?

I had worked with a member of their team in the past, so I was already very familiar with their work. We went through a normal proposal process with AIMDek Technologies and a few other companies, but I already had so much more faith in them because of our previous experience working together. With other companies we considered, we wanted to make sure they had a presence in North America, but we made an exception for AIMDek Technologies.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $50,000.

Our engagement spanned January­–March 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were thrilled with the final product. Considering how much we paid, what we received was a great value.

How did AIMDek Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated efficiently through emails and GoToMeeting, which we used for daily stand-ups. Their team was always willing to put in extra time to address our needs. Whether it was a holiday or a last-minute request, they made sure they brought somebody in to work on what we asked.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are forward-thinking and client-focused. If I ever came to them with a problem, they identified the root of it and took preventative measures to make sure it didn’t crop up again. I can’t say that all vendors will be as proactive about taking preventative steps.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They clearly have a talented development team, but they could improve by having a stronger business analyst presence to take care of some administrative and documentation duties. They completed those tasks, but they could have used heightened attention to detail on certain things.

I am currently the CTO of an e-commerce site in Argentina, mostly for wines. We are also opening the site for other products as well.

What challenge were you trying to address with AIMDek?

We were looking for an experienced developer in a very specific Java framework called Liferay. It was a difficult search, given that it was very specific, and there weren’t many developers experienced with it.

We were looking to develop new features and fix bugs on our platform. There was no specific challenge, but we needed a full-time developer. We used to have a different e-commerce site built using another language and decided to migrate to a new Java framework.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started working with AIMDek a long time ago, and I don’t remember exactly what we needed to work on initially. Mostly, we wanted to find someone with real experience with this framework, so that he could implement features based on our analysis.

We initially had a full-time developer from AIMDek’s side working 8 hours per day for us, and we did hire additional resources over time. There was one frontend and one backend developer at one point, but, most of the time, we worked with a single person. We currently have a single resource.

They haven’t provided any training for our staff in a formal way, but they’re always open to sharing their knowledge with our own developers.

How did you come to work with AIMDek?

I found them on a freelancing portal, possibly Freelancer.com.

How much have you invested with AIMDek?

We are currently spending around $2,000 per month on their services. The workflow has always been steady.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with AIMDek in November 2014, and the collaboration is ongoing.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We have 40,000 monthly page views, across 14,000 sessions on the site. We can’t specifically attribute any sales to them, but, in terms of uptime, AIMDek has helped a lot by maintaining our servers. They don’t have any specific tasks, but, once we need them, they will be there to help.

How did AIMDek perform from a project management standpoint?

Their performance is good. The team is responsible and they know what they’re doing. We’re using Agile methodology, specifically Scrum, and usually have a daily call which can last anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the case. If we need to have additional contact through the day, we will use Skype.

Responsiveness is one of the reasons we’ve stuck with AIMDek for such a long period of time. They have always met our expectations, they’re responsible, and they know what they’re doing.

What did you find most impressive about AIMDek?

Our project, as I’ve explained, required people with deep knowledge of the framework. Their technical expertise is one of the things which helped us a lot, and the collaboration with AIMDek has been very positive for us.

Are there any areas AIMDek could improve?

We have been satisfied in our way of working, but it would be good for us to have meetings with AIMDek’s management more frequently. This is not something we’ve asked for, and, if we do, we will definitely have it. We simply keep in contact with the developer, and the approach has been working well, but it would also be helpful to have more meetings with the managers.

What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with AIMDek?

I would simply say that they’re experts at what they do. AIMDek is a serious company, and we are very satisfied with the work. When I started using Abhed Dekavadiya, their director, and his team, my aim was to only use them for a few weeks or months, have a few things done, and move on, but they’ve proved that they have the expertise, and are a very responsive company. We have kept this relationship for almost 3 years.

We aren’t partners in any way but they are providing us a good service, and we’re satisfied with it. The idea is to keep using them for as long as we need them.
