MY POSITION Raghu Kalé — Founder and CEO Striking Ideas Raghu is an accomplished communications professional with an in-depth understanding of the organizational excellence assessment framework. He has positively impacted business outcomes by supporting corporate and operational strategies for many iconic brands. He has worked with corporate board members and business leaders, helping alter leadership conversations with his creative, divergent thinking. His systems thinking approach in leading communication and business excellence initiatives has helped reconfigure efficiency and productivity by developing a trans-disciplinary understanding of the realities of running and changing a business. He has made sustainable impacts to deliver performance — while being mindful of the scalability for developing future organizational capabilities.

Over the past three decades, he has worked in technology companies, corporate services, consulting, hospitality, and advertising. His divergent thinking brings out stunning and striking ideas rooted in experiences that find an expression in myriad, result-oriented business initiatives — in thought-provoking articles, original concepts, branding, creative films, and books. His ability to connect with people helps him draw out their deepest insights and opinions — a trait he has leveraged to build compelling stories in short documentary films. Formerly, Raghu was a core member in setting up the Tata group's business excellence initiative as a foundation for group transformation and worked with Board Members and Group Chairman of Tata Sons. We needed to find a way to generate leads digitally versus the traditional door knocking.

How did you select this vendor?

I spent a few months searching for someone who had the experience, communication skills, and marketing skills who truly understood what we were trying to do.

While the specifics of our plan are private, we tasked Agota with finding a way to reach out to prospective customers and develop a more comprehensive plan to quantify, identify, and reach prospective customers.

I worked directly with Agota, working directly with the owner of the business was preferred for us.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The pandemic unfortunately halted our progress but, we will soon pick up where we left off. We had made considerable progress with the plan.

She was great to work with, easy to communicate with, flexible with great recommendations.

She was very responsive and knowledgeable.

I am the Director and Spreadsheet Consultant for our company. We provide solutions to companies who are experiencing data and spreadsheet problems. Our services are aimed at senior directors/heads who wish to save time and money by automating their regular spreadsheet reporting.

We were looking to gain more business from small companies that provide products and services within the UK, AGT worked on establishing links with potential leads. The work that AGT performed helped our company obtain new clients.

Our goal was to seek new clients, and AGT assisted us with just that.

We searched online for various companies and freelancers who had a high success rate of what we were trying to achieve. In the end, AGT came across genuinely interested to assist us achieve our goal.

After hiring AGT, we discussed our requirements and detailed who our ideal customers were as we wanted to gain new business. AGT came up with an excellent strategy, including a plan of action of what to do on a day-by-day basis. Work included designing templates and promoting our company using LinkedIn.

Since engaging with AGT, we have gain some new clients. We engaged with AGT only for the short term, and results were achieved. We will have no hesitation in using AGT in the future.

Workflow was very efficient, precise and to the point. LinkedIn was used to manage the workflow.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were most impressed at the speed, accuracy and the efficiency of the work being performed. We saw an increase in new clients.

I’m the founder and CEO of CONTESSA FASHION LLC, a bridal and evening wear company in Dubai.

What challenge were you trying to address with AGT Marketing?

I hired AGT Marketing for blog writing and SEO services, as well as to handle our social media marketing (SMM) efforts.

What was the scope of their involvement?

AGT Marketing helped me with digital marketing and content creation efforts. They managed SMM campaigns and ran Google Ads efforts. Their team used MailChimp for email marketing services. Also written by their team were relevant blogs about the bridal industry, which they’d take initiative on and research.

I was only in contact with one person who worked directly with other members on their team. 

How did you come to work with AGT Marketing?

I found AGT Marketing through an online search. I went through their business profile and saw some of the projects they’d done for other clients. They were familiar with the market in Dubai and had solid contacts, which made me feel comfortable working with them. I contacted three different suppliers during this process, but AGT Marketing’s response was the fastest, as they got back to us late at night before the others.

We’ve spent between $5,900–$8,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September 2016–August 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

AGT Marketing helped us increase interactions on social media, getting more people commenting and sharing our posts. We also saw an increase in traffic and followers on our Instagram. The Facebook advertisements were great, people always came into our store after we posted them. When we used MailChimp, we had immediate callbacks from customers. Their services overall increased our sales and growth—we constantly had to replenish stock which was great.

How did AGT Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

AGT Marketing delivered amazing, quality work in a timely manner, meeting all of our deadlines. They proactively chased me down to get materials, such as photos or articles. If using email wasn’t working, they’d call me on the phone. We communicated on a daily basis, which was great because the bridal business requires daily updates and new content about trends. Their team was highly very responsive and didn’t make me wait on them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their work was high quality and keywords were used properly, which was impressive. The team’s services enhanced our website’s SEO and increased our presence on Google.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their graphic design work was standard, so it would be beneficial to use more creativity.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Consider using them because they’re always on time. Also, brief them fully about the project. Whenever I briefed them, they always delivered exactly what I wanted. If you’re more elaborate, they’ll respond faster and better and with fewer questions.

NIR-Watchdog is an innovative counterfeit detection technique. It can be applied in various industries. Based on the competitive analysis performed, it was found that SnT NIR Watchdog is ahead of other NIR software solutions. The product allows using any near infrared scanning device to detect a deviation in a spectrum reflection and with an accuracy above 98%.

The model applies AI algorithms and the results are stored on a blockchain encrypted storage which can be used as a court evidence. Currently the team is completing a working product testing with one of the major food producers. I am leading the business development activities at the project

We needed somone to manage the Linkedin posts and paid advertisement. Also we needed support in our B2B leads reach.

We had a market research and found that AGT Marketing provide and expertise we needed. They have the right experience on social media and also demonstrated the right level of understanding of what we do, need and trying to achieve

The project with AGT included Leads work on our main target population as well as promoters, decision makers, who can promote NIR watchdog. Introduction into the relevant groups Purchasing, Procurement, Legal. Generation of events which we could participate in and more also AGT created our LinkedIn portal with set up of the advertisement account

We worked with one person who was an excellent support to our activities. She built our social page and generated a posts feed

WE managed to increase the followers on our Linked in page from 5 to about 150. also we nmanegd to participate in several conferences and events

We had a recurring meeting every Tuesday and exchanged operational messaged on ad-hoc basis.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The pragmatic approach of "lets make it happen." They were always there when we needed them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

the work was done exceptionally good. I would improve a bit the exact plan of actions built upfront, though in our case it wasn't really possible

Contactonomy was established in 2019 and offers NFC and contactless solutions for corporate and F&B, Horeca companies.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed online presence and sales. We needed social media marketing and sales, lead generation. Our product is new in marketing, so we needed to reach our audience and explain to them how it works.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We contacted AGT Marketing and a few other agencies. In the end, we chose them because of their experience in marketing and sales lead generation. They were able to offer, not only these services but an overall view and consultation on how we can move forward with the marketing of our innovative products.

Within 4 weeks of starting the sales campaigns, we had our first paying client.

We were happy with their processes and the results. First, they created a marketing plan, and all the social media posts for the upcoming weeks, then we started the lead generation.

We are happy with the work they did, and we will continue to work with them.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our sales and percentage increases are closely guarded, but I will say that we saw increases according to our set goals. AGT Marketing's abilities to meet and exceed our expectations delighted both myself and our Administrative Director.

Communication was extremely efficient and all interactions were professional. I was a little concerned about time differences in our initial stages, but all fears were allayed once the project began and the flow of information and contact details began.
