We were looking for an agency that could support us with mobile app development.

We explained our requirements and expectations, and Ads n Url agreed to build three mobile apps — one for pet service providers, one for pet owners, and one for delivery service providers. They also agreed to develop an admin panel and website. They were in charge of front- and backend development and design, and they created UI/UX wireframes and developed the website and mobile apps.

The apps help connect pet owners with service providers and delivery services for pets in the community. Service providers can list and manage their services through the app, and pet owners use their app to find and interact with service providers.

We considered several offshore companies we found through Google, and one of our investors recommended Ads n Url based on their positive experience.

We began working together around January 2021, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality of their work is unacceptable, and we have refused to accept it. We began having issues after a few months, and I had several meetings with their project manager. Despite that, the project manager disregarded my concerns and by July he quit responding to me completely.

After discussions with the VP, we ended up signing a new contract in August, and development began, but the mobile apps and admin panel are still not completed. Overall, their team members are unprofessional and unqualified. 

How did Ads n Url perform from a project management perspective?

There’s no project management on their side. The CEO didn’t seem to be aware of the circumstances when we reached out to him. On top of that, they refused to give our money back or to give us the work they’ve done so we could take it to another company to finish the project. This has caused delays and loss of revenue for our company, and we’re currently seeking legal advice to move forward. Overall, they’re not responsive and they didn’t finish what we needed within the expected timeline.

What did you find most impressive about them? 

I don’t have anything positive to say about them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The CEO should be aware of what’s happening in his company and be able to manage things better to ensure clients are satisfied.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Do your research before hiring offshore companies. Don’t deal with this company as they are unprofessional and they don’t deliver.

There were around 9-10 people team. I worked closely with their Product Manager, Tech Lead, head designer & Dev Ops.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

My team loved the design and it was as per the audience we are targeting. They did good competitor research and whats happening in the industry. Post launch we started with Metasearch advertising on Platforms like Kayak & Cheap Flights and our site performed well in terms of conversion. Too early to share the numbers.

They were using Skype mostly for the daily communications and basecamp for project management

Their people. I think they have hired the most relevant people for the job. They respect their clients, understand an individual perspective, and work with a standardized approach.

Project management is 10/10. If I request something urgent or I want to make a change, they make sure they meet these needs in a short period. The way they help us, they’ll be able to help many others. We’re in contact daily via Basecamp, Skype, and email. If something is urgent, we have a Zoom call.

Their approach is good. They make things very easy for us, and whenever they have to say no to something, they make sure we understand the why and give us a reason.

If you get in touch with Shivam, he’ll take care of everything; he makes sure you have clear information about everything and will give you regular updates.

We’re a startup company with two team members. We’re currently working on developing a marketplace for a specific niche. It’s similar to Etsy, but we specialize in miniatures and odd dolls. Artists can sell their creations, and collectors can go and purchase them.

Right now, Ads n Url is creating our website, but we also plan to create an app that will come at a later stage. They might also help us with digital marketing.

Ads n Url is building the marketplace from scratch. They’ve mainly used HTML and PHP for development. They’d anticipated a week to do the design, but we wanted something very specific. The team accepted the fact that we were extremely picky about the design. They probably made every page 3–4 times, so we worked on the design for almost two months until we got it down to what we wanted.

What is the team composition?

We have a team of six developers and a project manager. He’s the one who has been in contact with us from the beginning, and he’s also in charge of development right now.

How did you come to work with Ads n Url?

We searched online to gather as many potential candidates as we could. We sent out emails and received some offers. Ads n Url stood out because they engaged with us right away. They reached out to us, and we had our first connection through Zoom. We explained the project, and they told us what they could do for us.

After that, we provided them with a more extensive description, and they gave us cost and time estimates for development. We decided to go with them because the price was reasonable. It wasn’t low, but it was better than other offers we’d gotten.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve invested around €10,000 (approximately $12,000 USD) so far, and we’re about halfway through the project.

We pay in installments and are pretty happy with the payment method. They’ve been very flexible, and they’ve offered us the possibility to pay by PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer. We had to find a couple of ways because payment from Italy to India wasn’t that straightforward.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had a couple of bad experiences before getting to Ads n Url. We were disappointed with the lack of communication. Developers disappeared after a while, and we didn’t know what was going on or what step they were at. We moved to Ads n Url, and they haven’t disappointed us so far.

We hope the result will be as good as our human interaction has been so far. We can definitely say that the project management has been excellent, and the team has been extremely present for us.

How did Ads n Url perform from a project management standpoint?

The design and development phase has taken longer than we expected, but we cannot blame them because we were very picky about what we wanted. On the other hand, we can contact the project manager through WhatsApp on a daily basis. He has been very kind and available. He engages with us and answers any question regardless of time, as India and Italy have a night and day time difference.

Also, communication has been good. We stick with dealing with the project manager, but we have a WhatsApp group to communicate with other team members. They’ve also set up a Trello account to work together and be on the same page.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They really want us to be satisfied. Ads n Url cares about us, and they try to do their best to reach out and accommodate our requests.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there isn’t anything at the top of my head.

Be very clear with what you want and don’t hold back. Ads n Url will accommodate your requests, but you have to be upfront. They like to hear from you.

What were your goals for this project?

I wanted to create a platform, wherein various outlets can list themselves and their products, users can then enter the keywords for the store and choose the product they want to purchase.

Directly buy from the store through an app and collect it in store. I wanted a multi- lingual app to cater both arabic as well as foreign clients. For my idea I wanted a trust worthy team of intellectuals who could code the project in time with minimal revisions.

I came across Ads N Url through clutch, reviewed their profile as well as go tin touch with their team. The factors that derived me towards working with Ads N Url were One their website was really good as well as their social media reflected their technical abilities in the field and their work culture and zeal their employees work with.

So far, the project stages has been achieved with satisfactory results. The design of the application was well perceived by the first customers and the flow of the application is adjusted to what we wanted. Likewise, the prototypes and website have been well developed and delivered in the established time

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project is being managed quite effectively. One of the things that impresses me is how, even with different time zones and the barrier to not have a face to face meet up, the team is excellent at understanding my vision.

The team and I were in constant contact through slack, basecamp. I had no issues with the deadlines or them not being able to figure out how to integrate certain special features I required from the deliverable.

The communication is the base of any good deliverable. The team was quite understanding and would communicate effectively about the project. The developers were knowledgeable enough to understand my requirements and would give suitable suggestions for the same. The task I thought was quite tricky, they simplified the journey.

I can’t think of any. The team, the deliverables all have been smooth and I really enjoy working with them and would definitely recommend other’s to trust the team for their projects.

The website is operational and live for the phase 1. We are happy with the response we are getting from the clients.

Project management is quite good. The team is clear at communication and documentation. We connect on video calls twice a week with the coordinator. The mobile app is little delayed because of the extensive features we required in our product but we hope to launch it before new years.

The team had innovative ideas and inputs for our product and understood our exact requirement with the Mobile app and the Website since we wanted different features on both. Their dedication towards the project was really impressive and they would stay in for extra hours after work to connect with our team and work on the final product.

The chain of communication could improve more, it was a hassle sometimes to convey your idea to such a big team with only one people coordinating.

There was a big team involved in the project. There was a PM and tech lead. Also, two people from the design helping us in defining the UI/UX of the app and the website.

Our product is in the final stages of completion. We liked the engagement so far and happy to see the progress. There is no such measurable outcome which we may share as the product is not live. But we have high hopes as the product is coming out really well.

The project was well coordinated and the collab went smoothly. We would usually stay in touch with them over the skype calls or visit their office and work with them.

They were good overall, the timeline got extended but I won't blame them for this as we had been doing back and fourth for some of the userflows. Overall it was a good experience.

Ads N Url developed an E- commerce product, both website and mobile applications for us on web, android and iOS platforms. Also organized a product discovery workshop to help design the perfect layout according to our likings.

When we started our business two years back, we tried hiring a team of freelancers to work for us. Their work was nowhere near to what we wanted. The user interface was all over the place and we had no knowledge about tech development so our goal was to hand over the project to a team of experienced professionals who understood our idea and also very understand how it should be executed.

We searched for app development companies out there and found some names among which was Ads n url. My team reviewed the portfolios for each company. Ads N Url was quoting us a fair deal and their portfolio included E-commerce projects, hence after a thorough analysis we trusted them for our product.

Apart from revising our existing website they advised us to work on a mobile application as well for better user experience for our customers.

From designing the product to its front and back end process they took care of everything and would only provide us the testing link and APK for our inputs on the final changes. They even took care of the content part for us.

We started working together from March 2020 and the project is still under the beta testing process and planning to launch by this Christmas. We do have some development links and APk’s for our website and apps we could share.

The project is going smoothly till now and all our requirements are taken into account by their team. we communicated with the project coordinator daily and had a weekly meeting with the rest of the team. Our project delivery was expected to be sometime in February but looking at the current scenario we might launch it this Christmas

We did not have tech capabilities, we were confused about what exactly we wanted and they made sure to get our requirements well and understand our vision quite quickly in our initial calls. They were able to understand our requirements in the first scope of the work and wireframes they shared.

From the project management perspective they were on top of the project and helped us throughout the delivery. I personally like their diligence to deliver this project and sharing ideas in between to make the app UX better.

For me it worked well in this journey so I am not sure I can suggest anything at this point of time.

This is the startup which I and my partner are working on for celebrity event management. The platform is built on react native for both iOS and Android and we are currently testing the beta version.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have shared the beta product with few celebrities to take their response and they liked the interface of the app. There are some feedbacks on which we have to work on but that will be parked for phase 2. We are pretty happy with the current version and will launch it with no additional feature as of now.

They used basecamp to share the regular project updates which was pretty easy to track and share feedback. The project manager and tech lead were very experienced which helped us learn a lot on the design and development side of the project.

Their tech experience and communication. They have some of the best techies in the company and their turn around time on feedback was very quick.
