We develop high-quality nutritional solutions to support the health of moms, infants, and young children. As the digital director, I’m responsible for digital marketing in four European countries.

What challenge were you trying to address with ADAMAPP?

We wanted to offer new parents a seamless journey and guidance through the first 1,000 days of a baby´s life.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

ADAMAPP developed a mobile application for Android and iOS. They handled the development of the self-service backend, linking our customer relationship management system and content API with different features. These functionalities include push notifications, measurement tools, checklists, careline connectivity, etc. ADAMAPP was also responsible for the maintenance and further development of our application.

How did you come to work with ADAMAPP?

ADAMAPP won the official agency tender based on the following criteria: a robust solution, cost effectivity, experience with the applications, experience with connectivity, and the agency approach.

How much have you invested with ADAMAPP?

We paid €20,000–€40,000 [$21,329–$42,658] for their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with ADAMAPP for 1.5 years, and we plan to continue working with them.

The time frame of the cooperation is six months of initial development, ongoing maintenance, and ongoing development of additional features.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

ADAMAP delivered the launch within the promised deadline and price range. We are very satisfied with the results. Our database is continuously growing and is now in the hundreds of thousands, which is a huge success for our market. We have great feedback from customers who are using app several times a week. On average, users spend almost four minutes per visit.  

How did ADAMAPP perform in terms of project management?

I appreciated the proactive approach in terms of project management as well as the technology advice for my team. ADAMAPP’s team was professional and flexible. They offered 24/7 support when needed.

What did you find most impressive about ADAMAPP?

I was impressed by their self-service backend as well as their flexible and experienced team.

They can improve the load speed, which was fixed in time.

We are a lottery company based in Prague. I am responsible for marketing and project management around our mobile applications.

What challenge were you trying to address with Adam App?

We wanted to launch our first application as a tool that could attract younger generations and technically equipped lottery players, as well as to show we were following the digital trends. In 2012, there weren't many companies specializing in mobile app development in the Czech market.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Adam App developed the first version of our app completely – from UX to graphics to development. Then came one major graphic facelift and continuous improvement of the app's functions according to users' behaviour and preferences. Now, we're launching a brand new app which will enable users to make online bets, after a registration and age verification step. 

We're trying to gain as many users as possible, so Adam App is also helping with the acquisition process.

How did you come to work with Adam App?

There were few specialized companies to choose from in the Czech Republic, at the time. We chose Adam App through a recommendation and their experience in the betting industry.

How much have you invested with Adam App?

It was in the $50,000-$200,000 range. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Adam App in February 2013. Our app was launched in the fall of that year. Adam App is working on the 2.0 version of our lottery application, which will enable online betting for users.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I find Adam App's team to be professional and highly skilled in its field. They can not only fulfill our demands but have also come up with their own ideas and solutions. Adam App has experience working with clients both in the Czech Republic and abroad.

As of January 2017, the app has managed to attract 750,000 downloads, as well as 500,000 active users in the last 3 months. We have around 300,000 monthly users. 

How did Adam App perform from a project management standpoint?

I am satisfied with Adam App's project management. Not everyone in their team has management skills, but both project leaders from Adam App that we've worked with were great. Adam App provides us with quick responses to our inquiries. If they are busy, they will let us know what the expected delivery time is.

What did you find most impressive about Adam App?

I appreciated Adam App's flexibility. They were able to help us during weekends, even though we didn't have a 24/7 support agreement. Even if we only had a verbal agreement, we could count on Adam App respecting it. They are friendly people, which made brainstorming sessions and figuring out issues easier.

Are there any areas Adam App could improve?

I would appreciate more consultation from Adam App's side on how we can solve certain issues and, moreover, active proposals on how we can improve the app. I'd also like periodic summaries with tech news in the mobile app sector and recommendations on what would be useful for us and why.

What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with Adam App?

I advise clients not to have reservations in asking Adam App for help; they can rely on the team's professional judgment. Adam App is fair regarding pricing and cost estimations. I never had any issues in this regard.
