I’m the COO of a promotional marketing and sales company; we work with consumer electronics, fashion, and pharmaceutical brands.

What challenge were you trying to address with ABOVE Digital?

We were trying to digitize our physical services and provide our clients with solutions to help them reach their audiences.

What was the scope of their involvement?

ABOVE Digital has developed a website that allows users to interact with brands. First, we explained our vision for the website and shared a brief and brand guidelines so they could get a visual idea of how we wanted the website to look. Then, the team used our brief to develop the website from scratch. We went through multiple iterations to reach the final result.

The website digitizes experiential marketing services to encourage target audiences to interact with brands online. The team has incorporated technology to facilitate videos, games, surveys, and live sessions on the website. Users can also download brochures from the site. 

We’ve launched a portion of the website already, but we’re currently working with ABOVE Digital to officially launch the completed version.

We’ve worked with the CEO, a project manager, and a developer. 

How did you come to work with ABOVE Digital?

I found them through a referral from a friend. They inspired a lot of trust during our initial meeting, so we decided to move forward with the partnership.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested €25,000–€30,000 (approximately $27,000–$33,000 USD) in the partnership with ABOVE Digital. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2021, and the partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We don’t have set KPIs, but we evaluate their work based on progress. The ABOVE Digital team has built a dynamic website and provided valuable solutions throughout the engagement. 

How did ABOVE Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

ABOVE Digital communicates openly and reacts positively to our feedback. They try to understand where we’re coming from, so they can identify ways to eliminate issues before they arise. The team is collaborative and timely. We meet in person and communicate via email and phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with their ability to identify effective development solutions while building the website. They always keep our vision and our needs top of mind.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’ve already addressed this, but it would be great if they were more communicative and available. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Set a detailed schedule to keep track of project timelines. Also, keep the schedule updated as you communicate feedback with ABOVE Digital.

Euronews Georgia is a franchise of Euronews, a global news network based in Lyon, France. The network aims to provide balanced and objective coverage of events from around the world and to give a voice to a diversity of perspectives.

For what projects/services did your company hire ABOVE Digital, and what were your goals?

We hired Above Digital to create an app for our television channel. Our goal was to create a mobile application that would allow users to stay informed and up-to-date on current events, and to easily engage with the news channel and its content.

We wanted the app to have the same style and features as the Euronews Global app, making it convenient for local users to access the latest news and information on their mobile devices.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We hired Above Digital through a tender process, and the main deciding factors were their experience, the price they offered, and project completion dates. We chose Above Digital because they met all of our requirements and offered the best overall package.

Creating a mobile app for Euronews Georgia involved the following steps: Defining the purpose and goals of the app: This includes determining what the app will be used for and what features it will include. For a TV news channel, the app may include features such as the ability to watch live streams of the channel, access to on-demand video content, and push notifications for breaking news.

According to Euronews Global Guidelines - Designing the user interface and user experience; This involves creating wireframes and mockups to visualize how the app will look and function, some general steps that are often involved in the process of creating our mobile app include:

1. Defining the purpose and goals of the app: This includes determining what the app will be used for and what features it will include.
2. Designing the user interface and user experience: This involves creating wireframes and mockups to visualize how the app will look and function.
3. Developing the app: This involves writing the code for the app and integrating any necessary APIs or third-party services.
4. Testing the app: This includes both internal testing by the development team and external testing by a group of users to ensure that the app is functioning properly and is user-friendly.
5. Launching the app: This involves making the app available for download through app stores or other distribution channels.
6. Marketing and promoting the app: This involves promoting the app through Euronews Georgia air and social media to attract users and drive downloads.
7. Maintaining and updating the app: This involves fixing any bugs that are discovered and adding new features and functionality to the app over time.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We were contacted by four people: the CEO, the technical director, and two developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After three weeks of launching the app, more than 500 users have registered and the number is continuing to rise. Thanks to the app, the number of users on social media is also increasing.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We are satisfied with the project management from Above Digital. We had Zoom communication and, when some problems were discovered, the Above Digital team fixed them immediately. Overall, the process was smooth and efficient.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

One of the things that impressed us most about Above Digital was the professional skills of their developers. This was our first experience working on an application, so we changed our goals several times during the process.

However, the Above Digital team followed us without any complications and accommodated all of our requests. They were very flexible and able to adapt to our changing needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't have any specific topics in mind for this question, but in general, app developers can always look for ways to improve their skills and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in the industry
