The stakes were high for the project, we wanted a simple dashboard that gives us specific information that helps the top management of the company to make decisions through data.

We selected vendor based on a technical skill analysis and they were more than willing for develop a free pilot project which gave us confidence on their ability.

As mentioned above the project needed different skill sets, we had initial video conferences with the team there and they quickly understood what we wanted to achieve. All our requirements were well documented and only after thorough review of SRS the development kicked off, We hired Aalpha Indian to develop a real time data analysis & business intelligence platform that collect real time data from several end points coming from different sources within multiple systems and then clean the data and develop a meaning full dashboard.

We are presently surprised with the outcome of the project despite them being a small development team, the project is already in production and there are talks to add new functions.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The experience was delightful, usually offshore projects do have some element of communication gap, but with Aalpha it was smooth and we have had much trouble connecting them.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to understand the process was something that impressed us, even though the project turned out to be more complex than we thought, we have had a word of complaints from them.

Thanks to the new features, our productivity has increased. We’re now able to identify the best-matched vendors with minimal effort. Users can update their data at any time, while with the previous version, the admin was the only one who could make changes from the control panel.

Motorshop.co.ke is an online automobile shop seeking to provide both dealers and end-users a solution to their motoring needs in Kenya. It acts as a meeting point for Kenyan dealers, Japanese Exporters, and local end-users in Kenya.

Japanese exporters list their cars on the website, and local Kenyan dealers can select and buy from the listed cars. Kenyan dealers also get to list their cars to reach as many Kenyan customers as possible. Customers/dealers can also buy/import spare parts through the website.

The scope of the project was website development and documentation. Aalpha Information Systems developed my company’s website, this includes all parts and sections of the website. They also assisted in getting a good hosting company.

They have done web maintenance and SEO for our company’s website since its inception and have advised us from time to time on reviews and additions that have proved profitable to us.

Aalpha Information Systems also re-designed our website three times.

Aalpha Information Systems’ company profile was outstanding on Google. After I contacted them, their response was immediate, and they quickly understood our business needs. They came in first compared to related companies that we had approached.

The project is estimated at $30,000.

The project has had so many parts. Our first phase took three weeks, and all tasks were completed. Since we began partnering with Aalpha Information Systems two years ago, we’ve never stopped. Each time we get a new project, they handle it for us.

Four weeks ago, we needed to redesign the homepage of our website, develop an SMS function for our site, and develop an API function.

All these projects have now been completed, and we are at the testing and implementation stage.

The results of the project were the best. Currently, we have a really high number of customers accessing our site to shop. Locally, our website ranking has also greatly improved due to completion of these projects.

We give Aalpha Information Systems a very high rating in terms of project management. The implementation of the project did not interfere with the normal working of the website. The process was seamless. They understand their work really well and are perfect at it.

When working with this company, is there anything that sets them apart compared to other partners you may have worked with?

We are based in Kenya, and Aalpha Information Systems is based in India. The fact that they understand our company’s wishes almost immediately upon communication really makes us happy. We don’t use any effort to explain what tasks need to be done. Their communication/client service department is the best, and we rate them highly. What you request is implemented exactly as you wish. If they have a better way of doing it, they always advise and proceed to implement with your consent.

Their budget never changes, and we’ve never had any issues regarding budgets and payments. They are just the best.

I really think they should open up branches all over the world and get to handle more and more projects. Liaison offices abroad would be a great opportunity for them.

We had numerous interdepartmental team meetings to do beta testing and discuss any issues that came up during development, therefore Aalpha was crucial to this process. Among the primary deliverables were:
