I told them what I wanted. They developed a WordPress plugin and made it into PHP code. It’s a plugin for a WordPress site and it’s responsive on mobile devices.

We plan to launch the platform soon. Because it hasn’t been released yet, we don’t have any metrics or customers to speak for the platform. At a few points throughout the project, they missed something or didn’t understand the whole picture. All in all, the work was good.

The communication was good. I made the to-do list and Pawan reports what he has accomplished so far and what still needs to be done. We had one Skype meeting at the very beginning and then we used email.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website is finished, but we still need to create more content for the news. We’re still getting shareholders and people on board. It’s not fully been launched yet, but I’m very happy with the quality of work, as is my team.

They have fast communication and delivery. They’re a really friendly staff and were quick to adjust to what I needed.

The design layout wasn’t always how I wanted it. We had to back and tell them what features we wanted, the colors, and the layout. In the beginning, the quality wasn’t that good, but later on, they understood how I wanted to have it.

We needed someone to develop our logistics and delivery planning software.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a software platform for everybody on the construction site to visualize the worksite, plan out resources, and make sure everybody has access to the information they need.

Most importantly, there is visualization of the deliveries coming to the site. They have developed both systems that we are selling. One is a resource planning system and the other is for the workforce environment. They continue to improve and maintain both systems.

I did an online search for developers abroad. I wasn’t sure that we wanted to do this investment in the beginning, so I contacted different companies and asked for their costs. Pawan was very transparent and their cost was good so we decided to move forward with them.

We started working together in April 2018, and the project is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everything went well. We had our demo of how it would work after four months. We had a lot of changes along the way and we worked closely with them, and they delivered everything on time. 

In the construction industry, you can’t function without the software they created. It has reduced the cost of all of our work. Everything is in the app and via the system, which is way more efficient than working with paper. For the delivery planning system, it’s absolutely crucial because if you don’t have it on-site, all the cars will come in at the same time and it will be a lot of waiting hours that cost money.

The systems they built for us help the project to be more efficient with visualization and planning a better workflow and delivery flow on-site. The systems are completely user-friendly.

We were involved in everything, and communication was always easy to manage. Any obstacles were handled really well. I’ve never met them but totally trust them, because they took responsibility if there was something they missed and always fixed it with no additional cost.

It would be nice if they had a project management tool to update their customers on the milestones and how long they will take. They’re already transparent, but a platform would be nice.

There were minimum cases of improvement because when you give Aalpha all the requirements you need done, they act on them with cautions and deliver good results.

The business challenge was to establish our web presence.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Aalpha Information Systems India helped us get our social media and website up and running. They came in from the beginning; we had nothing on board. We started drawing up stuff and created various options for our website. Their content people also wrote stuff up for us. We went back and forth on many things. Finally, they were able to come up with about five options for our website, of which we chose three to preview what the final site would look like. We finally chose one, which is the one that is up and running today.

I think there was a team of 3–4 of them. They worked hard to ensure everything was delivered on time. Pawan (Managing Director) was our main point of contact and handled everything from start-to-finish for us. He brought in other team members anytime we needed additional support.

Aalpha Information Systems India did a great job. They accepted all of our changes and met our timelines right from the beginning. As we went through the project, we came across required changes, and they incorporated those very well, especially considering that we didn’t have much time. If we need to make any changes to the site, we will hire them again.

Everything was great. On a scale of 1–10, I’d give them an 8 or 9. It was very rare that they were busy with something else and couldn’t get back to us. We mostly communicated via email, but sometimes the phone or WhatsApp if something was urgent.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I think their response times made Aalpha Information Systems India stand out. They gave us personalized attention, and that was great. Anytime we needed something, they were there to respond right away. They made sure that we were always well looked after.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Considering the time that we spent on the work, I would probably think that they could’ve added a few things to the site and not just stuck to what we requested. Of course, there were time constraints. When we do sit down with them and do some extensions to the site, maybe they could make some recommendations and provide more creative ideas.

Any advice for potential customers?

They’re pretty good. If you hire them, you’ll probably get the best out of any project that you want to do with them. Just go ahead and use Aalpha Information Systems India; they’re reliable and trustworthy partners, especially for anything to do with media.

I selected Aalpha ISI after a shot time of reseach, I was guided by my intuition and because of my knowledge of asian culture. Particularly the openness and expertise of indian scientists.

They designed a web 2.0 for open innovation and business ideas selling. A company can post a challenge (seeker) and a talented candidate (solver) can read the challenge and propose a solution.

In the other hand someone can sell un business idea by posting the idea on the platform and a buyer can manifest him/her self. In all of the case the admin manager everything to be sure the two parts are happy. It is a great and hard work, high level algorithm, so, it is not easy to tell you more in shot time.

The design aspect our business is completely manual, from initial property investigations (compliance) through to design and approval. With clients requesting information on the potential development of their properties means that we have less time in actual design time. To reduce the amount of time required for initial compliance research would allow us to increase our actual design time and revenue.

We needed an automatic solution where there was no need for our staff to manually investigate each individual property potential. A solution that would result in the client having to input their property details and receive an instant result. There were 3 other possible companies with tenders placed on our project. They were all ruled out as a result of their estimated costs, inexperience and delivery time frames. It is only early stages of the launch of this website and already we can comfortably say that it has increased our design productivity by 70%. Our clients are introduced to this website and are very happy utilising it at their own convenience during all hours of the day.

The project was managed offshore, the time difference meant that we could make the necessary changes and email them to be actioned, ready for review the following day. Skype calls were had at almost closing hours local and opening hours offshore.

The company performed amazingly throughout the project, delivering ahead of schedule with 100% accuracy. The distinguished point of difference is the fact that we have an allocated project manager that is working with us on the project and future ones.

The solutions developed for us has impacted on our ability to deliver our custom orders by at least 20%, we have increased our efficiency, a lot of manual labour is cut, our manufacturing has been error free since we deployed BPA solutions. Overall, we have increased our revenue.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We have a internal team of 3 tech guys who work very closely with Aalpha on day to day basis, personally i am not fully involved with management activity, but i do attend bi weekly meetings.
