Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Perfsys was engaged to take OlivPay from a near-production state to a fully production-ready platform. The scope of work included designing and deploying our AWS cloud infrastructure, implementing the remaining platform functionality, integrating third-party services, establishing a secure CI/CD pipeline, and preparing separate development, staging and production environments. Key deliverables included a scalable and secure AWS production environment, automated deployment pipelines, completion of the remaining platform features, integration of external payment and verification services, performance and security improvements, comprehensive testing support, and a production-ready release.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project successfully delivered a production-ready version of OlivPay on schedule and within budget. Perfsys established a secure and scalable AWS infrastructure, implemented the remaining platform functionality, and prepared separate staging and production environments with an automated deployment pipeline. They also helped us establish a robust GitHub pull request (PR) workflow, which streamlined our ongoing development process and created a structured approach for reviewing, testing and deploying future enhancements. As a result, we progressed from an in-development platform to being fully ready for launch, with a stable production environment, an efficient release process, and confidence that the platform can scale as our business grows.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Perfsys managed the project exceptionally well from start to finish. Deliverables were completed on time and within budget, and communication was clear, proactive and consistent throughout. Whenever questions or challenges arose, the team responded quickly with practical solutions and kept us informed of progress, giving us confidence at every stage of the project. As a non-technical founder, I particularly appreciated the guidance they provided. A special mention goes to Mykyta, who was great throughout the engagement. Overall, the entire Perfsys team was a pleasure to work with, and their professionalism, technical expertise and commitment to our success played a significant role in getting OlivPay ready for launch.

What was your primary form of communication with Perfsys?

Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most was Perfsys' personal approach. As a startup, we didn't need a large, complex organisation we needed a knowledgeable team that was accessible, responsive. Perfsys struck that balance perfectly. They brought a high level of technical expertise while remaining flexible and easy to work with. We had direct access to the people doing the work, decisions were made quickly, and communication was straightforward. That combination of technical capability, responsiveness and a genuinely collaborative working relationship made them an excellent fit for a startup like OlivPay, and it's one of the main reasons we look forward to continuing to work with them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Perfsys could have done differently?

Overall, we were very satisfied with Perfsys and there were no significant areas for improvement. This was our first time engaging in a project of this nature, and the team provided the guidance and support we needed throughout. Our experience was overwhelmingly positive, and we would happily work with Perfsys again on future projects.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The idea was to create a trusted relationship between the user and an empathetic avatar as an effective personal assistant. This relationship sees the PA listen empathetically, asking questions and offering strategies to help when anxiety is rising. Through Machine Learning, integration with calendars and wearables, the personal assistant can help to predict future possible triggers and help the user to prepare for these by relaxation techniques or other personalised startegies. The wearable provides both data that might indicate possible rises in stress levels but also to offer feedback to the user on how their use of the techniques offered has resulted in lower levels of stress. The app should also be able to be used without a wearable. As the users are vulnerable the platform should focus of AI safety and data security. The key deliverables were to create a secure cloud based architecture that would meet the brief above and create an MVP which could be demostratable and exhibited to attract investment funding.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The measurable outcomes are:

A robust architecture map which was created after taking onboard the importance of AI Safety and data security for this type of application. This then influenced the proof of concept stage and how to overcome the security limitations, AI safety and how to limit the costs associated with the third party avatar UI.

2.This resulted in quality MVP which is demonstratable and usable.

This will be invaluable tto us when talking to investors.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Perfsys where extremley professional on every level. Their interest in the project made me feel they were my own in-house development team, they listened and understood the priorities of this very specific application.

Communication was excellent and everything was delivered as requested. It has been a really positive journey which I am looking forward to continuing long into the future.

What was your primary form of communication with Perfsys?

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It is the willingness to understand what I am wanting to achieve with this application that has been so impressive with Perfsys. They did not want to just code and produce a product; they wanted the application to be impactful and useful to the end user. This was not just a build project for a client with an idea, it was created with an understanding of the end user.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Perfsys could have done differently?

I can't say that I feel that there is, I hope that we can continue to develop my application and build a strong long term relationship for the future.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We're developing the first phase of its enterprise QARQ Platform for government services management. This phase delivers a comprehensive, production-ready qualification management system designed to serve both citizens applying for government services and we and government administrators managing workflows and compliance. The platform will include the following deliverables: a Citizen Portal; Government and our Admin Portals; a Workflow Engine; AI/ML Integration; a CI/CD Pipeline with automated testing, blue/green deployments, CloudWatch dashboards, and AWS X-Ray tracing; and Architecture Requirements built on an AWS serverless-first stack using S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito, Step Functions, and CloudFront. The system will feature no hard-coded logic—workflows will be externally configured—and leverage AI/ML through AWS Bedrock and Textract, with compliance and observability integrated from day one to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Milestone Delivery: All 9 planned milestones (M1-M9) were completed within Phase Z, covering Citizen Portal, Government Portal, Admin Portal, DevOps infrastructure, Workflow Engine, and AI/ML integration.

Platform Functionality:  Delivered Concrete, working features include: a no-code dynamic workflow configuration engine (DynamoDB-driven, no deployment required for new grant programs), a fully functional 3-portal system, CI/CD pipeline with automated testing on every PR, structured logging via CloudWatch, and role-based access control.

Budget:  The project was scoped and executed within budget.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The milestones have been delivered mostly on time, however there have been some employee availability issues that have caused some delays.

What was your primary form of communication with Perfsys?

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most about Perfsys was their genuine depth of experience in government and financial technology. This was not a generalist shop trying to learn our domain on our dime. They came in with relevant background and understood the complexity of what we were building from day one.

Beyond their technical credentials, the team was enthusiastic, committed, and a genuine pleasure to work with throughout the engagement. They brought energy to the project and stayed invested in the outcome, not just the deliverables. That combination of domain expertise and a collaborative, client-focused attitude is harder to find than most people realize.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Perfsys could have done differently?

No significant complaints. If anything, the one area worth noting is around scheduling and timeline management. Factoring in holidays, vacations, and employee availability upfront rather than adjusting in real time would have helped keep the project on a smoother track. That said, this is a two-sided observation. Our own team could have done better anticipating next steps and being ready to move when the work required it. A more proactive approach on both sides to staying ahead of what was coming would have tightened the overall timeline.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the CEO of a software company that provides PCB design validation automation.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Perfsys to accomplish for your PCB design validation automation project?

We needed Perfsys to set up our AWS account to follow best-in-class security processes and then set up our production environment with automated deployments and secure access.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Perfsys provided AWS consulting and migration services. The team started by assessing our current AKS setup, document architecture, and dependencies. Then, Perfsys created AWS accounts for production, staging, and development with SSO configuration. After that, the team deployed the foundational AWS governance framework.

Perfsys also configured VPCs, subnets, IAM roles, and connectivity for ECS. The team deployed and configured ECS clusters, task definitions, and autoscaling. Perfsys developed the approach to migrate workloads from AKS to ECS. The team migrated a non-critical workload to ECS as a proof of concept.

Perfsys executed a phased migration of all workloads to ECS. The team performed functional, performance, and security testing. Perfsys provided post-migration support, including weekly performance monitoring, scaling adjustments, and security checks.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 2–3 teammates from Perfsys.

How did you come to work with Perfsys?

We found Perfsys through the AWS Marketplace. The team provided an excellent, customized proposal to our RFP that met our needs exactly with their expertise.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There have been four Sprints so far. We are discussuing the Sprint backlog items for Sprint 5. The completed tasks are too numerous to list here, but to give you an idea of the extent of completed work, Sprint 1, included:

1. UI/UX Enhancements
2. Sideba & Table Enhancements
3. Changes to metric displays
4. Configuring data storage,
5. Backend & Performance Opimization
6. CloudFront Intergration

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Perfsys delivered all the work on time. The team addressed every issue I raised with speed and dedication.

What was your primary form of communication with Perfsys?

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

First and foremost, what was most impressive about Perfsys was the team's domain expertise. AWS cloud software is complex. Generalist full-stack developers couldn't get the job done. Perfsys did.

Our perspectives aligned on developing a product for a global marketplace. Our streaming music service features songs from 40 countries on 6 continents. We liked that Perfsys could bring international cultural perspectives to KaZang's development.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Perfsys could have done differently?

No  issues. They call themselves Perfsys. We call them the “Dream Team.” If you know the NBA and Olympic basketball, you’ll know that’s high praise. The Perfsys team fixed all AWS analytics issues for our early-stage music app, KaZang. They resolved a bug that froze our metrics on a specific date, Then, they restored KaZang's data flow across four AWS services (i.e., Pinpoint, Cognito, Amplify, and Athena).

Over a period of six months, three different sets of full-stack developers failed to integrate AWS cloud analytics with our platform. Perfsys succeeded. If you have a tough job you need done to the highest standards, do yourselves a favor and hire Perfsys. On a scale of five stars, we give them a six!
