300.codes modernized Wapteka.pl by separating the system into independent layers — a fully headless frontend built in Astro, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS, paired with a Laravel backend. The architecture lets us evolve the storefront and the business logic on independent release cycles, which is critical for a regulated platform where some changes require legal review and others don't.
key deliverables: a redesigned, mobile-first storefront focused on speed and clarity; a single-page checkout that minimizes steps while respecting pharmaceutical sales constraints; reworked search, filtering, and cart flows; PIM integration for centralized product information management; integrations with our WMS and marketplace platforms for fulfillment and channel scaling; and marketing automation carefully scoped to only the product categories where promotion is legally permitted (excluding products covered by Poland's drugs advertising ban). The entire site was delivered to WCAG accessibility standards.

The modernized platform serves 2.5M+ monthly users with materially better performance — the lightweight frontend handles peak traffic without degradation, especially on mobile, where the bulk of our traffic now comes from. The new single-page checkout reduced steps to completion and noticeably cut cart abandonment versus the legacy flow. 
Operational costs went down thanks to a cleaner infrastructure and fewer duplicated processes between systems. The headless architecture lets us ship UI and merchandising changes independently of backend logic, so feature releases that used to take weeks now go live in days — a meaningful advantage in a competitive category. Search relevance and conversion also improved after we moved to AI-powered search.

We hired 300.codes to design and then implement the new version of our World of Living Spaces mobile app. The main goal of our project was to increase the audience of our application by launching a version available for iOS and Android devices. The existing application was only available for Apple devices.

In the course of our work, we set the second goal - significant usability optimization. The design of the new application was preceded by a UX audit performed by 300.codes, which allowed us to diagnose problematic interface elements and then eliminate them in the new UI design.

300.codes has been our proven supplier for many years. We came to them with the problem of high costs of implementing applications for the Android system. They proposed a solution based on a hybrid mobile application programming language, which is much cheaper to maintain than two separate applications for iOS and Android. Before we went into production, we asked 300.codes to prepare a description of the technology that allows you to implement hybrid mobile applications. Equipped with all the knowledge, we went to the analytical stage, and then to design and programming implementation.

The World of Living Spaces application is a full library of SWISS products available through integration with our Akaneo PIM system. It has extensive filtering capabilities that respond to the needs of all segments of our customers. It allows you to verify the structure of the decor, order product samples, visualize the decor in the interior or create a list of your favorite products.

In the application, users will also find a map of dealers where SWISS KRONO products can be purchased. The application has been adapted to tablets.

The project was commissioned by the Ministry of Development and Technology in Poland. The implementation process lasted 12 months, while the first 6 were devoted to stakeholder research - mainly entrepreneurs. During the remaining 6 months, implementation works were carried out in accordance with the concept developed in first stage.

Work on the project was very complex - the need to capture many perspectives and needs, and then working out a concept that translates into a useful user interface was a real challenge. The target group are Polish as well foreign entrepreneurs whose needs vary widely, depending on the scale of their business, in which industry they operate, and what experience they have in cooperation with institutions supporting their activities.

It was a long way to define the form of an internet platform, the structure of which will allow for consistent and effective support of businesses in Poland in conducting export activities. Nevertheless, the work was successful and the product was published. Currently, it is collecting the first reviews that will allow it to be improved in the future. It is very important for us to continue to obtain information from entrepreneurs and cooperate with them in the process of making any improvements.

The portal has been published recently, so it is difficult to present specific data showing success. At the moment, I can confirm that the Client is satisfied with the work done and greatly appreciates the shape of the published portal. In the weeks and months to come, we will continue to look at entrepreneurs' behavior and collect data for possible improvements. Additionally, this portal was well promoted in the press as well as on a special event organized at the National Stadium.

They know what they were doing, were really professional but above all when we were at crucial moments of the project, they showed adaptability and understanding and were able to implement new changes so as to satisfy the Client and meet the highest expectations. Additionally, the way of discussing difficult issues with the client also is really unique - as it required both soft skill to be able to present the Client our opinion as well as technical knowledge to sound credible. The idea of the JMPro app is to provide a tool for professional carpenters to keep track of their work, orders, and projects. The app is designed to be easy to use so that it can be quickly accessed on the go. The first step in designing the application was defining its scope.

We wanted to create a simple and intuitive interface that would make it easy for carpenters to find what they need at any given moment. The second step was creating wireframes and prototypes, which helped us identify any potential problems before coding started.

In order to make the application scalable, we decided on a modular structure that would allow adding new features without affecting other parts of the application. This way we were able to focus on one feature at a time while keeping the whole application working.

Thanks to this platform, carpenters’ work will be more pleasant, and even more, organized and they will get key information directly online.

300.codes emphasizes its boutique approach to software delivery by focusing on close personal interactions, transparency, business care, and a proactive approach. I have to admit that they honestly stick to the communicated values.

It is certainly their huge competitive advantage. They have been a big help in getting things done quickly and smoothly, without any significant setbacks or hiccups along the way.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Addressing resources to needs - optimising costs. The team dedicated to the work was adequately large, but its involvement in the various stages of the project could have been better matched. At times, the participation of the whole team was redundant but it certainly served the purpose of understanding the essence of the project and communication very well.

The user interface was designed by 300.codes using a modified version of the Design Thinking method. They started by defining the visual direction for the desktop version (home page and product card), then pivoting to a mobile-first approach.

The second stage was devoted to examining the wants and challenges of users, as a result of the previously specified design and business goals, which resulted in user flows. Based on the user flows developed at an earlier stage, we moved to design high-level

Publication of a new eCommerce implemented in accordance with the mobile-first approach. Significantly refreshed layout that contributes to the defined strategic goals of the company - including refreshing the visual identity.

There were no major issues. Workflow in accordance with the highest standards.

I'm the Head of eCommerce of a beauty company. We sell premium cosmetics on the polish market.

Our eCommerce was outdated and didn't have the feeling of a premium brand. What is more, it was tough for the customers to buy products there, the website was slow and the engine didn't give us opportunities to scale quickly. That's why we decided to partner with 300.codes and change it!

We had an auction. We selected a few of the best companies in the Polish market. We took into consideration the following factors: quality of work, pricing, ability to deliver, reference, knowledge, and partnership approach.

We had a kick-off meeting where we described our business goals and our plans. Then 300.codes created for us UX -> UI and once we accepted the designs we went into the development phase which was split into a few milestones. Thanks to that we were able to go to market faster.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

First of all, our website was live on time! :) We now have a more premium feeling of a website and we automated a few processes.

We work closely with the Project Manager who is our point of contact (who is great by the way!), we work in Jira, but 300.codes give us an opportunity to create new tasks via email, which is sometimes easier for us. We can see every task in Jira and we exactly know how the progress go.

Partnership approach and that they're super oriented towards our business results. - they really care about it!

Sometimes I feel that some tasks can be done faster.
