Please describe your company and your position there.
SWISS KRONO is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of wood-based materials. We provide our customers with an extensive range in the interiors, flooring, and building materials sectors. I am eCommerce Manager who owns and drive all e-commerce topics and steer & coordinate the successful implementation, launch and rollout of SKG e-commerce projects leading cross- functional teams.
For what projects/services did your company hire 300.codes, and what were your goals?
300.codes was responsible for the web app implementation, from UX and UI design to tech development. The main purpose of this project was to provide a user-friendly application for professional carpenters which automates a significant part of daily activities. From a business perspective, the goal was to create a system that would integrate the work of carpenters with the SWISS KRONO distribution network and increase the sales level of our products in a given market segment.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I knew people form 300.codes from other previous digital initiatives. They did a very good job with us, so we invited them also to this project. Although they were not the only company we were considering, they managed to convince us to use their services.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The idea of the JMPro app is to provide a tool for professional carpenters to keep track of their work, orders, and projects. The app is designed to be easy to use so that it can be quickly accessed on the go. The first step in designing the application was defining its scope.
We wanted to create a simple and intuitive interface that would make it easy for carpenters to find what they need at any given moment. The second step was creating wireframes and prototypes, which helped us identify any potential problems before coding started.
In order to make the application scalable, we decided on a modular structure that would allow adding new features without affecting other parts of the application. This way we were able to focus on one feature at a time while keeping the whole application working.
Thanks to this platform, carpenters’ work will be more pleasant, and even more, organized and they will get key information directly online.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
UX Designer, UI Designer, Full Stack Developer, Back-end Developer, Business Analyst, Scrum Master, QA tester, DevOps
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
I am afraid I cannot present any numbers, however, I can proudly confirm the developed digital product exceeds our expectations.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Their way of managing the project was at a very high level. They have handled the involvement of many stakeholder groups very well - it really impressed me. Also their communication and speed was very impressive.
The were able to deliver our expectations in 5 months. Thanks to agile approach and good tools (Confluence, Jira, Meet, sharepoint) I always knew what the current status of the project was.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
300.codes emphasizes its boutique approach to software delivery by focusing on close personal interactions, transparency, business care, and a proactive approach. I have to admit that they honestly stick to the communicated values.
It is certainly their huge competitive advantage. They have been a big help in getting things done quickly and smoothly, without any significant setbacks or hiccups along the way.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Addressing resources to needs - optimising costs. The team dedicated to the work was adequately large, but its involvement in the various stages of the project could have been better matched. At times, the participation of the whole team was redundant but it certainly served the purpose of understanding the essence of the project and communication very well.

The main goal was to showcase the products and help customers find what they need by seeing the product in one of the available interiors. Another important point was the ability to update the product offering (removing discontinued products and adding new arrivals)
300.codes created a 3D interior arrangement platform which gives customer an ability to choose and compare floor panels, wall panels, malamine face boards and kitchen worktops from a huge library of SWISS KRONO products. To make the tool more customizable, we’ve also added the ability to change wall colors. Please describe your company and your position there.
I am Owned Media Channels Manager at SWISS KRONO, leading manufacturer of wood-based materials.
For what projects/services did your company hire 300.codes, and what were your goals?
We hired 300.codes to design and then implement the new version of our World of Living Spaces mobile app. The main goal of our project was to increase the audience of our application by launching a version available for iOS and Android devices. The existing application was only available for Apple devices.
In the course of our work, we set the second goal - significant usability optimization. The design of the new application was preceded by a UX audit performed by 300.codes, which allowed us to diagnose problematic interface elements and then eliminate them in the new UI design.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
300.codes has been our proven supplier for many years. We came to them with the problem of high costs of implementing applications for the Android system. They proposed a solution based on a hybrid mobile application programming language, which is much cheaper to maintain than two separate applications for iOS and Android. Their idea of cost optimization was decisive.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Before we went into production, we asked 300.codes to prepare a description of the technology that allows you to implement hybrid mobile applications. In the next step, we went on to analyze similar applications of our competition, as well as a UX audit, which allowed us to diagnose the problems of the existing interface. Equipped with all the knowledge, we went to the analytical stage, and then to design and programming implementation.
The World of Living Spaces application is a full library of SWISS products available through integration with our Akaneo PIM system. It has extensive filtering capabilities that respond to the needs of all segments of our customers. It allows you to verify the structure of the decor, order product samples, visualize the decor in the interior or create a list of your favorite products.
In the application, users will also find a map of dealers where SWISS KRONO products can be purchased. The application has been adapted to tablets.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
- Product Designer
- Full Stack Developer
- Business Analyst
- IT Project Manager
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The app was recently released, so I can’t share any data for now. However, I can honestly admit that for our organization, optimizing costs and using the new hybrid technology is a big step forward. I believe that our users will appreciate the work we have done, which will allow us to achieve our defined business goals.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
I’m happy to see this question because 300.codes is a pleasure to work with. Same goes for workflow between our teams. 300.codes has several values that refer to the boutique software delivery process - some of them are proactivity and an excellent level of communication. The 300.codes team drew my attention to risks I hadn’t thought of.
I efficiently receive answers to my requests and questions. Specialists show initiative and propose solutions that increase the value of the project. All this means that the cooperation was at the highest level.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I am impressed with the boutique quality software delivery they communicate. I have known this company for some time and I am very pleased to see how they grow. They have very professional design service standards, as well as a team of high-class specialists who deserve trust. Working with 300.codes you know that you are in good hands and your project will be delivered to the highest standards. I couldn’t expect more.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Generally there is always a space for improvements, in this case dough, everything went very smooth, on time and in budget. Nothing comes to my mind now.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am Vice Director, working in Government & Public Sector area responsible for projects related to economy.
For what projects/services did your company hire 300.codes, and what were your goals?
We hired 300.codes as part of our team responsible for developing and implementing the functional and technological concept, as well as creating and implementing the modernization of the export promotion portal. 300.codes was responsible for UX, UI, development, as well as hosting infrastructure.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
They were a credible partner that proved to have necessary experience in the field. Their previous works were highly assessed by my team. We decided to partner with them at the pre-bid stage. It is worth noting that 300.codes took an active part in the tender and significantly supported us in developing an offer that allowed us to win. They took part in the project from the very beginning, supporting us with expert knowledge in the field of digital and IT.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The project was commissioned by the Ministry of Development and Technology in Poland. The implementation process lasted 12 months, while the first 6 were devoted to stakeholder research - mainly entrepreneurs. During the remaining 6 months, implementation works were carried out in accordance with the concept developed in first stage.
Work on the project was very complex - the need to capture many perspectives and needs, and then working out a concept that translates into a useful user interface was a real challenge. The target group are Polish as well foreign entrepreneurs whose needs vary widely, depending on the scale of their business, in which industry they operate, and what experience they have in cooperation with institutions supporting their activities.
It was a long way to define the form of an internet platform, the structure of which will allow for consistent and effective support of businesses in Poland in conducting export activities. Nevertheless, the work was successful and the product was published. Currently, it is collecting the first reviews that will allow it to be improved in the future. It is very important for us to continue to obtain information from entrepreneurs and cooperate with them in the process of making any improvements.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
8 people:
- UX Designer
- UI Designer
- Senior Web Developer
- Web Developer
- Business Analyst
- IT Project Manager
- QA tester
- DevOps
We had daily cooperation with their Project Manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The portal has been published recently, so it is difficult to present specific data showing success. At the moment, I can confirm that the Client is satisfied with the work done and greatly appreciates the shape of the published portal. In the weeks and months to come, we will continue to look at entrepreneurs' behavior and collect data for possible improvements. Additionally, this portal was well promoted in the press as well as on a special event organized at the National Stadium.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had daily stand-ups with their PM as well we have used multiple solutions to get things done (i.a. Slack or Google drive). Their communication style was really meeting the needs of both us and our Client. We had to be flexible and fast to adapt to changing circumstances based on current needs and expectations.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They know what they were doing, were really professional but above all when we were at crucial moments of the project, they showed adaptability and understanding and were able to implement new changes so as to satisfy the Client and meet the highest expectations. Additionally, the way of discussing difficult issues with the client also is really unique - as it required both soft skill to be able to present the Client our opinion as well as technical knowledge to sound credible. It was a pleasure to work with them and I hope there will be another opportunity for that in the near future.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I think public sector clients are rather unique and I believe they are really well equipped with experience to deliver similar projects in the future.

For what projects/services did your company hire 300.codes, and what were your goals?
Our eCommerce was outdated and didn't have the feeling of a premium brand. What is more, it was tough for the customers to buy products there, the website was slow and the engine didn't give us opportunities to scale quickly. That's why we decided to partner with 300.codes and change it!

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Toyota is one of the leading car brands which wanted to take advantage of the innovative methods to promote its products. Taking advantage of the Unity 3D and the Vuforia technologies, together with 300.codes, we created an app which allowed clients to see the new car model, unavailable at Toyota or Lexus salons at that moment, and to adjust it to their needs. We gave the clients a chance to select the rims, colour, materials used on the inside, lighting type, and to look at the car in detail from every possible perspective.
Additionally, we introduced an interactive way of explaining how the hybrid engine works, that made an impression on our clients.
