Please describe your company and your position there.

Project Manager at Edutorial.pl

For what projects/services did your company hire 300.codes?

300.codes was responsible for the design and implementation of our website. They've provided an excellent overall service and made our plan come to life.

What were your goals for this project?

Edutorial is a platform that connects education and technology. Our goal was to provide a top-notch website that would be user-friendly, fast, and reliable. What's important, we wanted to be sure that our readers would come back regularly, so the information architecture and the UX design was important to keep the engagement high.

How did you select this vendor?

300.codes was recommended to us by their previous client. We've checked their website and portfolio, and then set up a meeting with their specialist, who recommended the best solution for our website.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

We've come up with an idea for the portal and 300.codes has done the rest. They've prepared the specification, analyzed our potential competition, set up a strategy and then implemented it. They were responsible for UX, design, FED, BED, and QA. Now, they are our ongoing partner.

What was the team composition?

We've got a dedicated Project Manager, who was always in contact with us (daily calls, weekly demos, and occasional meetings). Additionally, there was a dev team (front-end developer, back-end developer, QA specialist) that did not change throughout the project. Occasionally, we were in contact with other team members, when discussing the strategy.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our website keeps getting new users every day and we also have a fan base that keeps on following our activities. I believe that fast and reliable website that is user-friendly is part of a reason why readers find us and stay with us for a long time.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Our project manager was really friendly and easy-going, but at the same time, he was focused on getting things done in the given deadline. I feel that his approach to our project was one of the main reasons for meeting the deadline and the website's high quality. He was contacting us often, either via phone or for a quick meeting, and was always keeping us in the loop and explaining what is the progress of the project. We also had access to Slack, so we could contact the team whenever we wanted.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Not only did they implement the website; they were also a true partner from beginning to end. They were able to help me with every area, from strategy to implementation. The website was implemented fast and right on deadline. Project management was impeccable.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I don't see any.
