247 Labs Inc has helped us revisit and enhance our existing web application using the Laravel framework. The team has helped us rework the platform's libraries and security features and migrate it from our previous provider to AWS. Regarding features, the team is bringing back the usability of functions like registration, notifications, and core library updates.

We’ve mainly worked with three key members of 247 Labs Inc’s team, including Ahmad (Delivery Lead), a project manager, and a developer.

We had worked with them on a previous project.

So far, we’ve spent $80,000 CAD (approximately $59,200 USD) with them.

We started working together in January 2023, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
247 Labs Inc’s work quality is great; they’ve understood our clear requirements before starting the project and have been adamant about getting exactly what I need without much back-and-forth bug-fixing work. Currently, we’re in the product’s Beta testing phase, so we don’t have any metrics. Nonetheless, the product seems usable, which is a great accomplishment.
How did 247 Labs Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
We have weekly calls with 247 Labs Inc’s team to review the product’s backlog and assess what we need with good prioritization and budget sense. Regarding tools, we use email and phone calls. The whole team has been able to assist and support us through the entire engagement to ensure that everything’s working to our satisfaction.
What did you find most impressive about them?
247 Labs Inc’s attention to detail is impressive. The team asks the right questions to ensure our satisfaction with our requirements. Overall, it’s been a pleasure working with them, and we’ll surely continue working with them on future projects.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could provide more helpful advice for us since we’re not into web development. I know that the team is customer-focused in giving us what we ask for, but maybe they could let us know if whatever we want isn’t the most efficient way of achieving what we want.

We needed an automated map maker. Data from our thousands of respondents needed to be sorted quickly and accurately and then mapped on our 3D model. We also needed 247 Labs to make an automated coding assistant. This involved being able to disambiguate strings of words to determine the actual/intended meaning and assigning codes to the responses based on our lists of thousands of attributes.
Finally, they created the components of an online customer profiling application which would use the mapping tool that they created.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We were able to analyze an enormous amount of data with the automated map maker and coding assistant with speed and accuracy and this enabled our company to take on more projects. There was a greater efficiency in the allocation of our manpower as well as an increase in revenue.
