Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The team built v2 version from scratch and built some internal tools for client and txn management.

Scope of work included Web Application, Backend APIs, Client facing APIs and database models.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Successfully delivered all planned components of the project, including the V2 Frontend Application, Internal Admin Tool, Backend API, and Client-facing Backend. All deliverables were completed in line with the agreed scope and timeline. Notably, the vendor reduced the overall project delivery timeline by 2x compared to original estimates, reflecting strong execution efficiency and effective project management. While specific quantitative performance metrics (e.g., load times, uptime, adoption rates) were not tracked for this cycle, the on-time/ahead-of-schedule completion of all four deliverables serves as a strong indicator of project success.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Demonstrated strong, disciplined project management throughout the engagement. All deliverables — the V2 Frontend Application, Internal Admin Tool, Backend API, and Client-facing Backend — were completed on time, with the team ultimately delivering ahead of the original schedule (reducing the timeline by roughly 2x). Their project managers were consistently accessible and responsive, available to address any resourcing concerns, though no such issues arose during the engagement. Overall, communication and coordination were smooth, with no friction points to report.

What was your primary form of communication with Inventco Software?

Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most was the agility in resourcing — management was able to provide qualified resources on immediate request, and every resource went through case study reviews without hesitation or pushback. The quality of the resources themselves was also notable: they were prompt, had strong foundational understanding of the technologies involved, and required minimal onboarding time to become productive. This combination of responsive management and strong, self-sufficient talent made for a noticeably smooth engagement.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Inventco Software could have done differently?

No significant areas for improvement identified. Inventco Software has been one of the best outsourcing teams I've worked with, and I have no notable feedback on this front.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We are a cloud-based software platform for food manufacturers, brands and product developers that streamlines the entire recipe development process. The platform enables users to create and manage recipes, calculate ingredient costs, generate nutrition and allergen information, assess HFSS compliance, and produce product specifications from a single source of truth.
Key deliverables include a secure web application with recipe management, ingredient database, automated nutritional analysis, allergen reporting, costing tools, HFSS assessment, user management, and exportable reports, helping food businesses develop products faster while improving accuracy and reducing administrative workload.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project successfully delivered a fully functional cloud-based software platform that is now being used to manage recipe development, costing, nutrition, allergen information and HFSS compliance. Key outcomes included the successful deployment of the application, implementation of automated nutritional and allergen calculations, creation of a comprehensive ingredient database, and the ability to generate product specifications and reports in seconds rather than hours.
The platform has significantly reduced manual administration, improved the accuracy and consistency of product data, and streamlined the new product development process. Early users have validated the software through real-world recipe development, with ongoing feedback driving further enhancements and confirming there is market demand for the platform.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The project was well managed throughout, with clear communication, regular progress updates and a collaborative approach to development. Key milestones were delivered broadly in line with the agreed timescales, and where changes or additional requirements arose, these were discussed openly and implemented efficiently.
The team were responsive to feedback, quick to resolve bugs, and proactive in suggesting improvements that enhanced both usability and functionality. They demonstrated a good understanding of our requirements and worked closely with us to ensure the final product met the needs of a food manufacturing business. We would be happy to work with them again on future development phases.

What was your primary form of communication with Inventco Software?

Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most was their willingness to genuinely understand our business rather than simply build what was specified. They took the time to learn how product development works in a food manufacturing environment and regularly suggested improvements that made the software more intuitive and practical to use.
Their responsiveness to feedback and commitment to delivering a product that met our needs stood out throughout the project. We now have a platform that is both user-friendly and well aligned with the way our team actually works.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Inventco Software could have done differently?

Overall, I was very happy with the service provided. As with any software development project, there were occasions where requirements evolved as we tested the platform, which led to additional iterations. The team were always receptive to feedback and quick to implement changes.
