I work in the service department of a commercial industrial boiler service provider.

What challenge were you trying to address with 216digital?

Our website hadn't been updated in a while, so we wanted to refresh the look of that, make it mobile-friendly, and increase our overall online presence in the process.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They created a brand-new WordPress website for our business. We gave them a structure to work from, so it was mostly based on our old website in terms of its content and functionalities, but they completely changed the look and feel of the site.

What is the team composition?

I only worked directly with our project manager on their team, but he had several developers working with him behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with 216digital?

I found them online and was impressed by some of the examples of their work. They were also from our area, so we decided to go with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $15,000 on the project in total.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from April–December 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In terms of the quality of the work, they met all of our expectations exactly.  I am completely satisfied with the results of the project and the capabilities that their work enabled for our company.

How did 216digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team was able to work fairly independently, which we really appreciated. We gave them some general directions in a pretty in-depth scoping at the beginning of the process, but they ran with the project from there.

Our project manager was always very responsive when it came to getting back to any questions or requests that I had, and he would always double-check with me if there was anything he needed as well. We communicated through phone and email to stay on top of all of the deliverables.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are really good at listening to what you want. They put their own creative spin on the work, but they never strayed too far from that original vision.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I was very satisfied with the experience, so I don’t have any major complaints.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be as clear as possible about what you want upfront. There can be a lot of easy misunderstandings in design projects, so the more specific you can be in the beginning the easier you are going to make things on yourself in the long run.

I'm the technology and communication manager for American Carnival Mart, which sells party and carnival supplies wholesale. We have a retail store and are starting to sell on Amazon as well.

What challenge were you trying to address with 216Digital?

We tried to update our website from a Miva Merchant to a Magento platform with another vendor, but they ended up taking too long to complete the work, so we reached out to 216Digital to make the upgrade quickly within Miva Merchant  instead.

What was the scope of their involvement?

216Digital upgraded our e-commerce website on the Miva Merchant platform, ensuring PayPal aligned properly with our ordering and inventory system. They'll also be integrating the site with the NetSuite platform and setting up our store on Amazon as well.

We work directly with Roy (Account Executive, 216Digital).

How did you come to work with 216Digital?

We had worked with 216Digital in the past to build our original website. Although we initially tried working with a different vendor to upgrade our site on a Magento platform, we ended up going back to 216Digital because that process proved too difficult. Ultimately, we decided to take 216Digital's advice and go with a Miva Merchant site instead. We knew we could trust working with them again, because they're very responsvie and are able to turn projects around quickly.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested about $24,000 on the latest upgrade.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them on the most recent project in July 2017 and they were able to complete the work within a few months. We're now working with them again to get our store up and running on Amazon.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

216Digital made significant upgrades to our website within just a few months. We've seen a huge boost in the site's reliability, making our sales process more seamless as a result. As we continue to add new integrations, we anticipate higher rates of accuracy in orders.

How did 216Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Roy is very accessible and responsive to our needs whenever we reach out with changes or questions. He's very good at making sure all our requests are met within a timely manner by his team, providing additional feedback on how to improve outcomes where relevant.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They listen and get things done quickly. They also do a great job of following up and are priced competitively with other vendors.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend exploring all options available to you when it comes to upgrading your website, so you know what to expect and how to get the most out of the direction you choose. We had less time to decide what worked best for us, but 216Digital's team was able to make the best of what we threw their way.
