We initially came to Lucky Hunter with a difficult request: to find a Founding Engineer who could combine senior-level fullstack development (JavaScript/TypeScript) with deep expertise in large language models. After the first interviews, it became clear that this combination of skills was exceptionally hard to find on the market. The Lucky Hunter team suggested a pivot – splitting the role into two: a Senior Fullstack Developer and an ML/LLM Engineer. From there, they took ownership of the search process, screening candidates, running technical assessments, and managing communication. In the end, they didn’t just deliver two hires but helped us close four positions in total (two fullstack engineers and two LLM engineers), effectively building the foundation of our technical team in just a few weeks.
