My name is Anca Todică and I have been working for the Bethany Social Services Foundation for a year, the place where I started as a social worker for a short-term project for the first 6 months. After that, I joined the “ACCESS HUB - Increasing active citizenship for people with disabilities” project whose main objective was to build a web platform that could be accessible to people with disabilities.

Bethany Social Services Foundation was founded in 1991 by Bethany Christian Services, an organization in the United States of America dedicated to improving the lives of children. From the beginning, the Bethany Foundation has focused its activity on the prevention of abandonment and the reintegration of abandoned children into biological, foster, or adoptive families. Slowly, the social profile of the foundation has changed, and it is now dedicated to disabled children and children living the rural areas.

For what projects/services did your company hire Linnify, and what were your goals?

We have hired Linnify for the development of a web platform that focuses on presenting useful information to people with disabilities from Romania. The platform targets all age categories and offers guidelines on how to create an admission file for a disability classification, how to prepare the file for reevaluation, how to create an employment file, how to obtain a personal assistant, and what are the general and particular legal rights and benefits of a person with disabilities.

Our long-term goals are:

• increasing the capacity of vulnerable people, parents of children with disabilities, and young people affected by the issue of disability, through learning, education, and advocacy actions for improved access to public and social services.
• the development and dissemination of a new model of empowerment of vulnerable groups affected by the disability issue.

INFOABIL is part of a bigger project called “ACCESS HUB - Increasing active citizenship for people with disabilities” which encompasses various activities such as advocacy (with children with disabilities and their caregivers), awareness campaigns, and therapy sessions with disabled children. INFOABIL is an entirely free informational platform designed for people with disabilities from Romania, to assist them in various processes such as the preparation of a disability employment file, its reassessment, finding a job, helping them integrate into society, understanding their rights, and many other benefits.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After the release of the website, we had multiple interviews with dedicated users (people with disabilities) and we have received amazing feedback from them regarding our platform. They said that the website is accessible, simple, and has a clear structure. This means that our objective was achieved. We owe this to Linnify’s team as they understood exactly the why behind our platform.

Their team was incredible. They were proactive and very fast both in communication and solving tasks. The website was created in no time, much faster than we could have imagined. Their PM was extremely helpful, always ready to find solutions to any of our problems and helped us with anything that we might have needed. I was delighted with the way they approached this project as they understood from the beginning our objectives.

It felt as they truly cared about doing the right things (they came up with the idea of having discovery interviews with disabled people to better understand their needs, and even helped us with the creation of the logo for the platform). We mainly communicated via email and Whatsapp.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What we appreciated the most was the fact that they wanted to discuss with people with disabilities to better understand their needs and create a platform that brings real value to them - they managed to deliver exactly that. Every issue that we might have encountered was solved extremely fast.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is nothing to add here.

I am the CEO of a telemedical plattform and company headquartered in Austria.

For what projects/services did your company hire Linnify, and what were your goals?

drd is a solution to the shortage of affordable medical doctors in Austria. Now, anyone can have easy access to General Practitioners without waiting. This is the first Austrian telemedical platform. When we contacted Linnify, we already had a web application. However, it was unstable and had major bug issues. We wanted a stable and scalable solution that would bring value to our customers. We knew this would be challenging considering that we had a short time frame and limited budget, due to the investment already done in the existing solution.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Our interim CTO, Marc has been working with Linnify for more than 5 years. He recommended them to us based on their experience of working with start-ups requiring them to scale up fast at high-quality standards.

We started with a design phase to ensure the new version offers an improved and intuitive UX/UI. After we approved the design we moved to the development phase. The web application was developed using Angular and the backend using Django.The most important and complex features of the application were: ensuring secure document access, real-time video consultations, and the complex payment system containing multiple subscription types and providers.

We had a PM from our team. Linnify’s team for this project was composed of: a Business Manager, a UX/UI designer, 2 Frontend developers, and 1 Backend developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They moved very fast to offer us a product that is functional and can be used by real users. We were very satisfied with the design of the app and how everything turned out. A measurable outcome is a decrease in the number of customer complaints due to the app not functioning properly.

Linnify was a huge help for us. They wanted us to succeed and went above and beyond to help us find the best solution to meet our time and budget constraints. They acted as partners with their main focus being on the product and it going to the market. The team was incredibly responsive as they were always one phone call away. They have a product-oriented team of developers who are always focused on finding the best development solutions for the application's long-term stability. We kept in touch via Slack and Google Meet for day-to-day operations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The fact that they wanted our project to succeed and went out of their way to help. They did everything as promised and were supportive of us. We could always call them if we encountered a problem and they would get back to us with a solution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish they would have pushed us even harder than they did and that they would have insisted more on the planning part of the project.

I'm one of the Co-Founders and the CEO of Nooxit. Nooxit is building the next generation of AI-based finance process automation tools for medium and large enterprises. We are putting accounting on autopilot. Our software leverages modern Deep Learning and NLP technology to liberate finance teams from repetitive document capturing, manual compliance reporting and tedious accounting tasks. This helps our customer's finance team to save time and money, prevent fraud, and be globally compliant with local financial regulations.

We found them through a referral. The deciding factor was a good call before we started and a small work package they delivered.

We have developed an app that helps children to read. It uses advanced AI with other technologies to make the reading experience frustration-free for kids, teachers and parents.

We already had a working app from our previous partner. Linnify redid everything from design to full app overhaul. The steps were wireframes, app beta launch, and production launch.

Linnify is really great in every aspect of app development. They have great UX, tech, dev, and QA teams. Communication is great and resources are very knowledgeable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Even the best of the world has areas for improvement, so the Linnify. I would like a bit shorter/quicker release cycle.

The process started with a meeting with the Project Manager about my company and needs. Assets were then chosen and approved and videos were submitted to me.

We worked with a project manager who was excellent.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The milestone due dates were met as promised and the final edited videos exceeded our expectations.

From the start, we were blown away by the project manager who was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant to deal with, extremely patient and accommodating.

We appreciated working with a knowledgeable and genuine team who cares about clients and their needs.

No.The entire process from start to finish went smoothly. Linnify is an extremely organized company with skilled staff in a multitude of areas.
