Throughout the year, Clutch highlights its highest-ranking firms across industries and locations. The Clutch Leader Awards recognize companies' commitment to building their expertise, providing stellar customer service, and producing high-quality results for clients. These firms meet our methodology's standards of excellence and can be trusted by potential B2B buyers to excel at new projects.

How Do We Select Clutch Leaders?

We identify Clutch Leaders using our methodology that evaluates companies on their industry expertise and ability to deliver.

A company's level of industry expertise is based on five criteria:

  • Services offered
  • Former clients
  • Case studies
  • Awards received
  • Social media presence

A company's ability to deliver score is based on four criteria:

  • Recency, number, and quality of Clutch-verified reviews published to a company's profile
  • Types of clients a company has worked with
  • Services a company offers and their experience providing those services
  • Brand reputation and visibility in a company's target market(s)

Companies must also have a substantial and verifiable presence in the location(s) we are evaluating for any location-based awards.

Our Leader Awards rankings are based on organic Clutch research and are not affected by a company's sponsorship on our platform.

To qualify as a Clutch Leader, companies must display a track record of high-quality and legitimate client reviews. Any fake or fradulent reviews submitted to Clutch will be factored into a company's evaluation as a Clutch Leader.

How Do We Collect Client Feedback?

Clutch analysts interview companies' clients over the phone, which ensures verified, comprehensive, and unbiased reviews.

We ask clients about their experience working with a company throughout the partnership. After transcribing and editing the conversation, we publish the review to the company's profile.

Companies' clients also have the option to leave an online review at their convenience. Once submitted, reviews are verified, edited, and published to a company's profile.

How Can I Increase My Chances of Being Selected?

If you don’t have a profile on Clutch, apply now for a chance to be recognized as a leader in our research.

Once your profile is set up, we recommend submitting at least 3-5 client references to share their feedback. Make sure that you keep your profile updated with recent reviews to maintain your visibility on our platform.

Make sure your profile is filled out with accurate, relevant, and helpful information. 

In particular, pay attention to your profile's:

  • Client references
  • Full street addresses and locations
  • Service line allocations
  • Frameworks, technologies, and sub-focus areas for services you provide
  • Industry and client size allocations
