I’m the online development manager and digital transformation specialist for Corrib Oil, a retail company. We operate convenience stores with branded forecourts and distribute heating oils, road fuels, and lubricants across Ireland. We serve customers through retail outlets and distribution depots in multiple counties.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zyneto Global Technologies?

We needed support building our website and mobile application to deliver a tailored custom gift card solution.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zyneto Global Technologies joined us as our development partner in early 2025. The initial scope was to develop a new website alongside complementary mobile applications to replace our outdated platforms, with a strong focus on improved functionality and UX-driven design.

This was a complex project that went far beyond a standard build. We relied on three different third-party platforms to manage various parts of our business, each containing large customer databases that needed to be merged, along with synchronized user logins. Zyneto Global Technologies handled this complexity seamlessly, meeting every deadline and staying within budget despite multiple blockers from third-party providers.

Following the successful launch of the new platforms, Zyneto Global Technologies continued to support us and drive progress. We then moved into the next phase of the project: gift cards. This required integration with an EPOS system, a fulfillment partner, and the creation of a customer dashboard for platforms without EPOS compatibility. Once again, everything was delivered on time and within budget.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

App downloads are up 50% so far this year. We’ve also experienced a large increase in customer retention and repeat orders. Our online sales have increased between 2%–5%. We operate in a very competitive market.

Additionally, we’ve reduced admin work due to the intuitive nature of the platform. Gift cards are now open and available to an entirely new market.

How did Zyneto Global Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

We had a dedicated product owner from their end who really took ownership and developed a real understanding of the business and its needs. Delivery was mostly on time; any slight delays were always due to third-party complications. Their responses were always above and beyond, even outside of normal working hours.

We communicated through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Communication and hands-on problem-solving were exceptional.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, there was very little Zyneto Global Technologies could have done better during the project. Despite a highly complex scope and multiple dependencies on third-party providers, they delivered every phase on time and within budget while maintaining clear communication throughout.

If anything, the only potential improvement would have been more control or influence over third-party providers, as some blockers originated outside their scope. However, Zyneto Global Technologies proactively managed these challenges, set realistic expectations, and minimized their impact on timelines and delivery.

Looking back, the project achieved clear success. It included efficient data scraping, improved data quality through effective cleaning, well-organized data in the MySQL database, and the successful development of a functional and user-friendly ecommerce website. These accomplishments show significant progress and success in meeting the project's original goals.
